I am not currently employed, so my schedule is wide open to look after your furry family members! As I have 3 cats of my own, I am used to adjusting my daily routine to the needs of the specific pets in my care.

I have house-sat and pet-sat overnight and through drop-ins for many friends and family members for the past 10 years. When possible, I prefer to meet with a client once before they leave so they can introduce me to their pet and show me where/how they are fed. I always keep my phone handy to take notes on special care instructions like when your pets usually eat, how to enter the home (if applicable), when they prefer to take their walks (if applicable), etc. If a meeting is not possible, I ask that a list of detailed instructions be provided to help me best serve your pets' needs. If you would like me to take your dog to a local park for a walk, I have a car that I would be able to drive them there in, or if the venue is close enough I'll be happy to walk them there and back. If your pet requires a crate or leash for transport, I ask that they are provided by the owner.

A typical day
I will provide care and company at your pet's own pace - if your dog loves to play, then I will give them my undivided attention and play until they've worked out their excess energy. If you have a lap cat that prefers to chill out for most of the day, then I'll be there with a book to read while I sit with them.

Pet care experience
I have several months of experience volunteering with the cats and dogs in my local shelter, and I have had cats and dogs in my household all my life. I have experience giving medication orally and topically, and I am also happy to clean up any litter boxes or accidents while caring for your pet. Most of all, I pride myself on treating every animal I meet with gentleness and consideration - my top priority is making your pet feel safe and happy while I'm looking after them.

Nicole was great with my cat! She was very communicative ahead of the visit and took extra time to ask about feeding habits and playtime. She sent many pictures each visit and a through description. I will definitely be rebooking with her!
Nicole took excellent care of our 3 cats while we were gone for 7 days. She kept the place cleaner than she needed to, and made sure all cats got some attention during the visits. She also communicates very well, and is very accommodating with any changes. I will definitely rebook her in the future!
Nicole was great. She took care of our dogs like they were her own. And when one of our dogs got hurt she took them to the vet and handled it all really well. She went above and beyond for them!
Nicole was great with Harvey. She played with him as long as he could and was considerate of his age. She fed him according to directions and gave him plenty of attention throughout the day. I would absolutely hire her again.
