About: I have had multiple dogs over the years that are great companions. They will be in great hands when it comes to me. I’m good with small and large dogs. The bigger the dog the bigger the lover they are. Dogs help me and I would like to say the same about me helping them. I work fully remote and can tend do dogs needs whenever. My schedule currently full time remote work. I can fully provide enough love and comfort through the day for our fur babies. All the love, play time, and walks they need I can do. I provide a loving home where the doggos can cuddle and play with me in my house but as well as the fenced in park that is near my house. About: First things first- I’ve never been a cat owner. But due to moving a lot as a teenager, I’ve spent years in a household where my adult roommate had two cats (with very dichotomous personalities, at that). The boy was amiable, and eager for attention. The girl preferred to approach rather than be approached, and understandably feisty when someone didn’t know that. I loved those cats so much before I had to move again (about two years later), giving them food and water and cuddles alongside my mother and sister when our roommate went on longer trips. It was through living there that I especially learned to care for two pets that were of the same species, and yet so different in terms of how they received affection and respect. About: For most of my childhood, I never was allowed to have a pet, despite being so eager to have one. However, I did know many friends and families who had dogs and cats, whom I would visit frequently. I would help feed them, walk them, play with them, give them gentle petting when they were receptive, etc. As a teenager I moved around a lot with my single mother and my younger sister, so I got to live with a few different pet owners: One of my adult roommates had an old senior Shih Tzu. The sweet girl had poor vision and moved slowly, but I did my best to help my roommate and handled her dog with care everyday. Another woman I lived with had two cats; the male was affectionate and friendly, and the female was the feisty and shy one. I approached both very differently, aware of their boundaries, and formed a sweet bond with both :) Then my mother’s friend, who had a bunny! I learned a lot about how to give them healthy and fulfilling lives. Bunnies are very high maintenance, yet admittedly my favorite animal to care for. It’s why I actually ended up having a pet rabbit to spend every day with when I lived with my grandmother for years. I’m now living in a faraway town and unable to see my sweet bunny as often, but I’m most experienced in rabbit care and grooming!! All in all, I get along with most animals, and I find animals of all types just precious, even during the more lackluster aspects of having them. I understand each pet is their own individual with unique needs and I will always be attuned to that. I feed crows and pigeons (not around other animals though), I photograph insects and reptiles… yes, I just love animals and living creatures. I have a part time job, working four hours every weekday (completely free on weekends). I am at work between 2pm-6pm, and outside of that I have no defined schedule whatsoever. However I do have routines and a list of hobbies I’d love to pursue in my journal. I get up early in the morning to walk around my neighborhood usually, and I do the same during sunset. The rest of the day depends; sometimes I read non-fiction, other times I head to Lake Evans, or see a live music performance at a cafè. I also dedicate some entire days to activism and fundraisers, so if I’m unavailable to care for a pet I will simply be upfront about that! I have a two story house, and it’s quite spacious! For rabbits or other animals that need an extra danger-proof house, the floors are almost completely free of things that pose any danger (such as sharp objects or accessible wires), and can be blocked off when there are visitors. The house has a mix of smooth wooden and carpeted flooring. I have three roommates, but only one is consistently staying in the house, and spends most time outside of the house. She has expressed permission to allow an animal every once in a while, she is trustworthy, and I would never leave an animal around any other human being unsupervised. The house also has a spacious backyard with high fencing and grass. The neighborhood itself is fantastic for dog walking! There’s a walkway with trees, flower bushes, small fields of grass, and it’s a hotspot for hummingbirds haha.

My pets and the pets of my clients have been able to sleep where ever the want (couch, cat trees, chairs, beds, etc). We are a super loving family and really love having fur babies around. We hope to welcome yours! One final note, I don’t allow my dog or the fur babies of my clients to stay outside overnight . Everyone is tucked inside for the night. When I need to step away from my home, I will typically ask the echo dot to play music for background noise.

About: I’m always the dog sitter for my family whenever they need me and my closest friends. Dogs tend to always trust me, I get along with all animals because I respect their space! I have an older dog who loves to cuddle but when he wants his space I give it to him and I can tell all the signs saying he needs space! I learned a lot about how to give them healthy and fulfilling lives. Bunnies are very high maintenance, yet admittedly my favorite animal to care for. It’s why I actually ended up having a pet rabbit to spend every day with when I lived with my grandmother for years. I’m now living in a faraway town and unable to see my sweet bunny as often, but I’m most experienced in rabbit care and grooming!! For rabbits or other animals that need an extra danger-proof house, the floors are almost completely free of things that pose any danger (such as sharp objects or accessible wires), and can be blocked off when there are visitors. The house has a mix of smooth wooden and carpeted flooring. I have three roommates, but only one is consistently staying in the house, and spends most time outside of the house. She has expressed permission to allow an animal every once in a while, she is trustworthy, and I would never leave an animal around any other human being unsupervised. The house also has a spacious backyard with high fencing and grass. The neighborhood itself is fantastic for dog walking! There’s a walkway with trees, flower bushes, small fields of grass, and it’s a hotspot for hummingbirds haha.

About: Ive owned and taken care of dogs since I was a little girl and recently, just began training my puppy. I’ve also taken care of older dogs. I’ve also been on multiple dog walks through wag. I am not currently employed, so my schedule is wide open to look after your furry family members! I have house-sat and pet-sat overnight and through drop-ins for many friends and family members for the past 10 years. When possible, I prefer to meet with a client once before they leave so they can introduce me to their pet and show me where/how they are fed. I always keep my phone handy to take notes on special care instructions like when your pets usually eat, how to enter the home (if applicable), when they prefer to take their walks (if applicable), etc. If a meeting is not possible, I ask that a list of detailed instructions be provided to help me best serve your pets' needs. If you would like me to take your dog to a local park for a walk, I have a car that I would be able to drive them there in, or if the venue is close enough I'll be happy to walk them there and back. If your pet requires a crate or leash for transport, I ask that they are provided by the owner.

“Fabulous! Leaving Baloo with Shakira was the best decision I could have made!! She took him in like family would. I got pictures of him throughout the weekend with such a big doggie smile that I was afraid he wouldn’t want to leave!! It looks like he had a great weekend with her. Baloo is a big, giant mastiff pit bull marshmallow, but a lot of people are intimidated by his size. Not her! She let him snuggle right up to her. I DEFINITELY recommend her.”
