“As usual Heather was an awesome caretaker for our babies. The care and concern she shows for the girls is always appreciated. We even had a slight issue at our home that was unrelated and she took care of it.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for 14 years, and have experience in basic dog training. I also can wash, and cut nails. I am also experienced in administering medicine (such as pills and ear ointment) and im super affectionate :). Booking day care and sitting with me also includes 24/7 access to dog cameras, so any parents can check on their pup ♥️ I am home majority of the day, I am able to give your pet attention and quality play time and frequent breaks throughout the day. Every once and a while 1-2 friends will stop by briefly, but that’s for 2-3 hours max. I am good at updating my clients their condition of their pup. I also have a fenced yard, and ample time dedicated to your pet. Pet owners that book with me also get special access to doggie cameras to check on their pet’s welfare.
“Patricia took such good care of my kitten! She was attentive and engaged during the visits and was always on time for her visits. She sent updates and was very responsive. It was my first time using Rover, and Patricia put my fears away when using the app. She was so friendly and made sure to take care of my kitten like her own. I would highly recommend her to anyone and will be using her services again!”

“Lian is always reliable and responds as soon as she's available to. She's great with my four legged loved ones and highly reccomended her to new or existing clients. Always punctual and very easy to work with😀”

“Cadence was very punctual and is reliable and responsive. She was very gentle with our sweet puppy. She checked in with us during the visit. I would recommend Cadence for dog and puppy care. We are new to rover, so don’t have other experiences, but no complaints with our experience with Cadence”

“Andy was so patient with Parker tonight even though the furball was being whiney & difficult 😅 We’re thankful that Andy is willing to learn their routine and spend the extra time to take such good care of our pups.”

About: I grew up with dogs since I was in kindergarten, and have dog-sat many times as an adult. I've cared for dogs as small as Pomeranians and Poodles, and as large as a Great Pyrenees. We even had up to seven dogs in the family at once! Being surrounded by dogs and the happiness they bring has been one of the most important highlights of my life. I've also had and cared for cats, rodents, reptiles, and birds, so no matter the pet, their paws, wings, or scales are in good hands! I am available from 11 am to 10 pm including weekends, aside from the occasional exception. As long as your home is smoke free, you can count on me! As "The Pet Whisperer" (an honorific from my wife and family), I will care for your pet in your home paying specific attention to any care instructions provided, as well as any requested pet walks or play time they may sant or need. If your pet likes to lounge around, I can also be their couch buddy!
“She was great at showing up on time and gave my dog a lot of playtime and attention throughout the day. My animals seemed happy and well cared for, and I appreciated the updates she provided. Overall, a helpful sitter!”

I am unable to board at my house at this time but I am happy to dog sit at your home and take care of your pet any way you see fit. I am currently looking to use pet care as my income during summer while I am in Grad school, after august I intend to scale back to weekends and after classes! I follow instructions from pet parents to the letter, I love and respect all animals and I ensure that pet parents can feel safe leaving their pets in my care!
About: I've been surrounded by pets my whole life. I grew up with many cats (currently have 5) and a super loving golden retriever. I can assure you your pets will be well taken care of and in loving hands with me!! I'm currently self-employed, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pets! I can house-sit or stop in for as long as you need any days/times of the week! I have watched many pets over the years. If you have a specific routine with your pet, I will easily be able to adapt to it so that your pet can stay in routine!
“Adeline did a great job taking care of our pups! She was communicative, prompt and cleaned up the mess when our older dog had an accident. This was our first time using Rover and we were happy with the experience with Adeline. We would use her again in the future.”

About: I’ve grown up with animals all my life, have 3 boys of my own. I’ve fostered a puppy and multiple bottle baby kittens before. My girlfriend and I rescued our dog from the actual street in front of our apartment. Our cats are adopted too. I love animals and would love to help you out with yours. currently I’m available after 6pm Monday-Wednesday Saturday and Sunday. And then Thursday and Friday I’m completely available. I can play with them, take them on walks, or just watch tv with them if they just want to hang out.
About: I grew up with pets and I’ve spent most of my life around dogs. I have experience caring for and training both large and small dogs. Whether it’s going for walks, playing at the park, hanging out in the yard, or just sitting around inside, I love spending time with dogs! Because I’ve spent time with a variety of pooches both big and small, I’m comfortable with whatever amount of attention and exercise your dog may need. I have experience with all ages, from puppies to senior dogs. As a medical student, I definitely don’t mind giving any medications your pet needs—extra practice is always a good thing! I’m an outdoorsy type in my free time and I love to hike and explore California (I moved here from New Jersey). Since I am a full-time student, I do spend a lot of my time reading and studying, and I’m happy to do this wherever your pet is located for house-sits. I’m comfortable taking care of any pets you may have—I grew up with cats as well—and I’d love to hear from you, whether you’re interested in booking me or just have questions! I am currently doing remote academic work and I have a flexible schedule. I am willing to accommodate whatever schedule of care your pet requires! I provide dog walking, house sitting, and drop-in services. I love interacting and playing with dogs so I will make sure that your pup gets some TLC whenever I am around. If your dog has special dietary requirements or needs medications administered I am happy to work with whatever they need.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Loma Linda
Caitlyn did did a great job caring for my cat RC (and my plants). Each day I received a Rover card and a photo, and I really appreciated that. Upon returning, RC was in the house (he's an indoor/outdoor cat), and not at all stressed. He just sauntered out as usual. Thanks very much Caitlyn!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Loma Linda. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
