“This is the 3rd time we’ve had Diana take care of our cats… she always does such an amazing job. Always attentive and caring. She’s very patient with our more difficult cat. Diana has great communication, and always keeps us updated with what’s happening and is very responsive. We highly recommend her, and hope she can continue to take care of our pets in the future!!”

“First booking with Emily and was a great experience. She took care of my cat while I was away for a week and she administered medication as directed and helped my cat with his constipation. I appreciate she also sent photos of my cat so I could know how he was doing. She was also responsive to texts regarding the visits.”

“Susana was fantastic! Beforehand, she came over for a meet and greet and was great with our dog and cat. They were well cared for the day of the drop-in and she took great care of our senior dog and her medication needs. We are absolutely looking forward to being repeat clients.”

“As a first time Rover user I'd like to say that this experience was great. We are very thankful Janel was available to watch Lily. She paid great deal to attention to our cat while we were away and made us feel relaxed as first time cat parents. Love the daily Rover reports with pics. All in all a great experience.”

“Sarah was great with our 2 kitties and was wonderful at helping to problem solve when one of them was struggling to adjust to us being gone. I would highly recommend her and definitely book again!”

“Booked Ellie for a check in while we were out, and she did great. I’m sure if my pups could talk, they would agree! I was a tad bit nervous as it would be the first time she would be checking in without us present and everything went smoothly. Ellie sent us updates and pictures, which we love!”

“Annalise has cared for our puppy so well! She even took the time to clean up the messes he made while we were gone. She took so many photos and gave us updates making us feel reassured that he was in good hands. She gave him so much love and we will definitely be rebooking her!”

About: I am a dedicated weekend volunteer at a dog shelter, where I work hands-on with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My experience includes basic obedience training, socialization, and leash handling, as well as administering various types of medications. I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs, from small breeds to a 180-pound Great Dane and a 100-pound Cane Corso puppy. I’ve also provided care for dogs with special needs, including one with only three legs. In addition to my volunteer work, I have two small dogs of my own, which has further strengthened my understanding of canine behavior and care. I am passionate about animal welfare and committed to providing every dog with the attention, patience, and care they deserve. I am currently a college student so currently i dont have any pet responsibilities. But, i've grown up surrounded by dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, which has given me a deep understanding and love for working with them. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for dogs with a wide range of needs, from energetic puppies to slow-moving seniors, and even dogs with disabilities who need a little extra patience and care. When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure they stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, walk schedules, and any special care your pet needs. I keep the space clean, secure, and calm, and I always spend quality time giving them attention, affection, and exercise. I also make sure to keep you updated with daily photos and messages for peace of mind.
“Sofia was fantastic! She dropped in all weekend to let my dogs out and took wonderful care of them. Her communication was top notch, and it was so comforting knowing my pets were in such attentive, reliable hands. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Andy was so patient with Parker tonight even though the furball was being whiney & difficult 😅 We’re thankful that Andy is willing to learn their routine and spend the extra time to take such good care of our pups.”

“I couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Quetzaly to take care of my cat, Mars. From the start, she was incredibly warm, professional, and attentive. She went above and beyond by sending me thoughtful updates, photos, and little notes that helped me feel completely at ease while I was away. It was clear that Mars felt comfortable and cared for! Thank you again, Quetzaly! 🐾”

“Absolutely fantastic cat sitter! Followed all our instructions and took really good care of our two kittens! We came back home and our kittens had grown in size and happiness. She went above and beyond in also taking care of our home and any messes our mischievous kittens had caused. Would be more than happy to leave her in the care of our kittens again!”

“Felicity is wonderful! We are new to the area and have older dogs, so it was important to us to have them stay in our house and have someone come take care of them twice a day while we were out of town. Finding Felicity has been a true blessing. She took excellent care of Gracie and Fritzie. Felicity sent a message and pictures every time she came, reassuring me that our pups were being well taken care of. Fritzie is 14 and takes medication and I really appreciated her telling me that Fritzie took her medication with no trouble each visit. I highly recommend Felicity and will use her any time we need a pet sitter!!!”

“We had Cadence come over and check on my pups while we were gone for the day. She was friendly, sent me pictures and updates whenever she came over. Would recommend and use her again! :)”

About: I'm a university student, my ultimate goal is vet school. In my family and among my friends, I have always been known as the animal lover. To me, this is more than just a side job; it's more like the payment is just a bonus, but the pets are what make me want to be there. I myself have a husky and a bulldog, and in the past, a pitbull. I understand all types of personalities and love each of them. Im currently enrolled for a course at the university of redlands but tuesday-friday im free after 1pm and the rest of the days im free any time😊. Im in a dorm but I have no roommates and the campus in very pet friendly. I plan on walks around the campus and to park (with permission) and in my room they are welcome to rest, eat and play. My plan will vary depending on instructions from owners.
The median cost per visit for cat sitting in Redlands is $25

Sarah is so incredible with my sweet kitty, Stella! We were recently out for just over a week and Sarah was great with checking in on Stella and giving her tons of love! We even had an unwelcome visit from ants while away and Sarah went above and beyond on helping to solve the problem! I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

CJ did a great job with the cats while I was gone for 10 days. He was able to come twice a day and hang out with them and give them the attention they needed. He updated me on everything and was easy to communicate with. He also shared great pictures from each visit! I came home to two happy cats.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Redlands. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
