I had a very serious and distressing experience with this sitter and cannot recommend her under any circumstances. I had planned to leave my cat with her for only two days, but the conditions and handling of the situation were extremely concerning. My cat was kept in a trailer environment, which I was not properly informed about in advance. My cat went missing while in her care inside her home. During this situation, communication was extremely poor. I was not given clear or direct answers when I urgently asked whether any doors or windows had been open, and I had to repeat these questions multiple times before receiving any response. Instead of communicating with me and actively focusing on finding my cat, the sitter appeared to prioritize communication with Rover rather than the pet owner. When I asked for the exact address in order to come and help search, it was not provided immediately. When I insisted on coming, I was told that my time would be limited and that I needed to remain calm or the police would be called, which is completely inappropriate given that my pet was missing. This situation was handled in a highly unprofessional and irresponsible manner. At no point did I feel that my concerns were treated with the urgency or accountability they required. When my cat was eventually returned, the sitter did not come herself but sent family members instead, which further reflected a lack of professionalism and responsibility. There were also inconsistencies in the reported timing of the drop-off compared to what actually occurred, which added to my concerns about how the situation was handled. This experience caused extreme stress, and I genuinely feared for my pet’s safety. I would strongly advise others not to trust this sitter with their pets.
