“My 2 kitties are notoriously shy and usually hide when new people are around. Yet somehow they were out on just the second day with Ross. I’m amazed and thrilled. Looking forward to future opportunities to book with Ross.”

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover, proud pet parent of my friendly dog, and a veterinary technician with 4 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. My dog love making new friends, so they’re always excited to have playdates! I’ve had my current dogs for just over a year, but my experience with animals goes way back — I grew up on a farm surrounded by pets of all sizes and temperaments. I’m comfortable handling everything from energetic puppies to shy senior cats, and I understand how to make them feel safe, loved, and well-cared-for. As a vet tech, I’m trained to recognize signs of stress or illness, administer medications if needed, and handle pets with a calm and confident approach. Whether your furry friend has special needs or just wants some extra cuddles, they’ll be in great hands. I work part-time and have a flexible schedule, so I’m available during most hours. Daily walks are a regular routine for me — I always bring water, keep a close eye on the weather, and end every walk with a treat and a tail wag. Looking forward to meeting your beloved pet, whether they purr, bark, or both! I can accommodate and be flexible with schedules. I make sure my own dog and foster kittens get their routine going and adjust if anything comes up. Crate training is my specialty, I also like to potty train as my dogs are inside while I am away at work. I prefer if pets stay indoors.
About: I have been taking care and training my dogs since a young age. I have also watched many types of dogs for a couple of years now I take my dog to exercise and work with him twice a day and i take him for pee breaks also when it is warmer so he doesn’t have such a long break. I do a lot of mental work due to his breed and make sure i feed him the correct food and treats to keep him healthy. I make sure they are comfortable with me and make sure i can care and take care of them as much as possible. I will and have never stepped over an animals boundary and due to the way my dog is i am very careful with dogs and understanding of what owners and my self needs with dogs
“Kae took care of my dog Koko for two days, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. She came to my house to check on Koko, and sent me many pictures during her visits. Koko absolutely loved her and looked so happy with her! Kae was super communicative and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. She was also incredibly nice and clearly great with pets. I highly recommend her services to anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Zaira was amazing! She paid great attention to any details and was super kind and great with our dog! She did everything perfectly, would definitely recommend her to anyone and will absolutely work with her again! Thank you so much Zaira!”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. In fact, I took my very first steps with a Rottweiler named Oso by my side! Growing up around these large breeds has helped me plenty with hands-on experience and confidence with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Over the years, I’ve cared for and loved several dogs, including a German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, and currently a Malinois mix and two husky mixes. I’m very familiar with the energy, exercise needs, and unique personalities that come with active breeds. While I have lots of experience with larger dogs, I absolutely adore small dogs too. I want make sure that every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m patient with shy or timid pups and always take the time to earn their trust at their own pace. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, running around, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I’m their new best friend ☺️. If you have a high-energy dog that needs to burn off some extra energy, I’m more than ready to help tire them out with plenty of exercise and fun 🤩 ! ❗️I’m available all weekdays and holidays! Although, i’m in college, studying Administration of Justice, and depends on my schedule for the semester since classes may vary on my availability. but it doesn’t mean i won’t make time for your babies! I do prefer for your animals to be treated at your home, because my dogs can be protective of our home and won’t want to put any animals in harms way.
“Kim is very caring. She took care of my 2 cats. Fed them twice a day. Kim was on time at 8am and 5pm. I left her instructions and she followed them. I would recommend Kim to anyone.”

“The couple is amazing! We had a wonderful experience with them. They dropped in and took great care of our golden retriever while we were out of town. We really appreciated the consistent updates and photos—it gave us peace of mind knowing our dog was happy and well cared for. Communication was smooth and easy throughout the entire time. We came home to a very happy pup! Highly recommend, and thank you so much!”

About: DAYCARE & BOARDING takes place in our home in downtown Corona. All dogs must be non aggressive and on some sort of flea and tick treatment. I am a certified dog trainer. I work with dogs full time and I love what I do! DOG TRAINING and DROP INS takes place in YOUR home, where your dog will be most comfortable and least distracted. In regards to drop ins, I don't charge extra for multiple pets. DOG WALKING is very beneficial for your dogs health. As a dog trainer, I also help dogs learn how to walk nicely (loose leash walking, no pulling and practicing the "leave it" command). Working with dogs is my full time job. I am usually available everyday for pet care, including holidays. I can usually take last minute bookings as well. I do small volume booking so I can give each dog lots of attention. They are never unsupervised or left outside by themselves. If I do have to leave my house, my wife takes over till I get home.

“Evelyn was amazing to work with. She came everyday and watched after my little Shadow. She went above and beyond when I was away and this helped so much! She even brought in my amazon delivers and helped me with a couple extra requests that truly put my mind at ease while I was gone. Evelyn, I truly appreciate all you did. I am so lucky I got to work with you.”

About: Hi, I’m Alexis! 🐾 I’ve been caring for animals since I was 5 years old, always having had dogs of my own. Over the years, I turned my passion into a career—working as a Veterinary Assistant, Animal Care Technician, and in pet boarding/daycare. Whether it’s walks, playtime, snuggles, or special care for pets with medical needs, I treat every furry friend like family. Your pets will be safe, loved, and happy while you’re away! I’m flexible and can often accommodate last-minute bookings, weekends, and holidays. Whether you need morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddles, I’m happy to work around your schedule to make sure your pets are cared for when you need it most. When caring for pets in their own home, my top priorities are safety, trust, and comfort. I make sure your pets stay on their normal routine for feeding, walks, and playtime so they feel secure while you’re away. I always double-check that doors, gates, and crates are secure, and I’m mindful of any special instructions you provide. I treat your home with the same respect as I do my own—cleaning up after pets, keeping their areas tidy, and leaving things just as I found them. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind, knowing your pets are loved, safe, and happy in the comfort of their familiar environment.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Home Gardens. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
