About: Hi, I’m Katelyn! I’m a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with 10+ years of experience in veterinary medicine and leadership. My services include drop-in visits, medication administration (oral, topical, and injectable), nail trims, basic pet care support, and monitoring pets with special medical needs. I am experienced working with dogs, cats, seniors, and pets requiring ongoing medical management. As an RVT, I understand how to recognize changes in behavior and health. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind while ensuring their pets receive compassionate, knowledgeable care. At this time, I am focusing on drop-in care and veterinary support services rather than pet sitting or dog walking. Services Offered: * Drop-in visits * Medication administration * Nail trims I currently work Monday-Friday 7am-3pm, but I am flexible with drop in services and happy to try to work around your schedule and your pet’s schedule as needed • Drop ins • Medication administration (injectable, oral, topical) • SQ fluids • Feeding (for example, if you have a cat and just need a drop in meal) • Nail trims • Ear cleanings (as long as the ears are not infected and it’s routine)
“Never in my life I left my cats to anyone I didn’t know before and Jazmin made it easy for me to trust her with my cats! Jazmin is very responsible and animal loving person, she made it easier for my cats to deal with stress and do not feel alone and forgotten, while I was away moving my dog from coast to coast. I definitely recommend Jazmin as attentive, loving and thoughtful cat sitter!”

“We’re so happy to have met Bradey. We have 2 small malteses. A blind 16 year old (Roxy) and a nervous 4 year old (Bob). Our Roxy gets very anxious and will sometimes have accidents at home. Bradey was greeted with a couple accidents and she helped clean it up. She cleaned up Roxy too. Bob was nervous at first and eventually warmed up to her after a couple treats. She gave us updates throughout the drop in which was really reassuring. She sent us pictures of our dogs and the walks which was great. She did walks with each dog and when I came home from work, they were both so calm. I was almost certain that she may not want to come back as some of our sitters have found Roxy to be overwhelming but instead she sent me the kindest message that she would love to drop in or house sit for both my babies anytime. We have booked her for our upcoming trip. We appreciate Bradey so much. Thank you for caring for our babies.”

“Erica is always great. She’s a solid communicator and is very reliable. She always sends me updates about each visit and sends me cute pictures of my little dude where he looks so happy to see her. Can’t recommend her enough. Thank you, Erica!”

“Rachel took care of our 13 year old Viszla for 11 days with excellence, great care and a personal touch!! We so appreciated all the special care she gave him!! We had peace of mind while being away. Rachel communicated regularly and effectively about his eating, exercise and general well being which we appreciated so much!! Rachel is a dog lover who gave our dog so much love!!! We give Rachel the highest recommendation!!”

“Our cats are typically on the shy side when meeting new people, but warmed up quickly with David. Which shows he's genuinely great with pets. This would be our 2nd time booking with David, and will definitely book again! Thank you David!!!”

“Nancy is awesome. I got another job and was going to be away from my dog scout for long periods of time during the day. Nancy comes to my house and takes her out for a much needed walk. Scout is always so excited to see her and I trust her in my house. She sends me photos of scout and a note to tell me how the day went. Thank you!”
“Stephanie was everything you would want from a pet sitter! She was so attentive and truly cared about our fur baby. She gave wonderful updates! We will def be reaching out to her again in the future!”

About: I have had my maltese, Milky, for fifteen years and unfortunately had to say goodbye to my childhood dog back in 2023. I would love to meet some new dogs and spend more time with some new friends! I have experience working with dogs as I worked at a dog grooming salon. I had always wanted a dog when I was younger and felt a strange connection to dogs, wherever and whenever I saw them. I have also worked with No Stray Left Behind which is an organization that helps adopt abandoned dogs. I’m currently working part-time so have plenty of time to look after or walk your pet! (: My schedule is pretty flexible so it shouldn’t be hard to find availability! I have a fenced backyard that is definitely safer than just letting the dog outside and also live in a cul de sac where I can safely walk the dog if needed!
“Kayla is a very delightful young lady. She took very good care of my babies. I would highly recommend her to anybody. She was efficient on time and just the total delight. She was a total package. She knew her stuff and she was very professional highly recommend her to anybody.”

“Katie is so kind and generous with her time and took great care with our babies. When we had a delay in our travels home she was very quick to respond and schedule extra drop-ins which made us feel at ease. We will definitely be using Katie again and highly recommend her.”
About: Hi there! I bring years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and needs, including my own husky and several senior dogs requiring medical support and veterinary visits. Pet care isn't just about completing a checklist to me. It's about knowing the animal. Some dogs want to run until they're worn out. Some want to stay close to you. Some need medication at a very specific time. I try to understand those differences before I ever begin caring for a pet. Throughout my life I've owned and loved five dogs. I understand the importance of treating every pet like family and providing care that matches their normal routine. Beyond pet care, I've also been trusted to look after luxury homes throughout Coto de Caza, Dove Canyon, Ladera Ranch, Irvine, and Newport. For over four years I managed weekly household needs while coordinating with maids, landscapers, pool services, and other vendors. Whether it's keeping up with energetic dogs, providing extra care for senior pets, or making sure your home remains secure while you're away, you can count on me to handle everything with reliability and professionalism. I’m available most days and love spending my time with pets. My own husky enjoys running 1-2 times a day, so staying active is already part of my routine. At home, I also care for two cats, so I’m comfortable balancing different personalities and needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve learned how to build trust quickly—even the shyest cats seem to warm up to me. I provide a safe, caring, and consistent environment where pets feel secure and loved.
“Kylie did a great job taking care of my 2 cats. Sweet, punctual, responsive and overall easy to communicate/work with. I will not hesitate to reach out to her again when I need someone to care for my orange boys.”

About: I have had a lifelong passion for animals, dating back to my early childhood. I possess a remarkable amount of patience when it comes to working with animals, and it seems that most animals I encounter can sense this, establishing a sense of trust with me quite quickly. Even the initially hesitant ones eventually warm up to me, often surprising their owners. I strongly believe that every animal possesses its own unique personality, and it is our responsibility to make a sincere effort in comprehending and addressing their individual needs. <333 I have a cleaning business and I have a set schedule a house per Tuesday-Friday. They take me 3-4 hours so im usually free after 11 am :) Unfortunately, I do not offer a house sitting at my home. We have two huskies and 3 cats. I would say the more the merrier but some of them are wary of new animals.
About: My name is Lauren I live in Trabuco Canyon, Ca. I love all animals and I have had 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a bunny in my life. I have grown up with many types of animals and all types of dogs big and small and very comfortable with either. My fur babies are my life and i will treat your fur babies as I would my own. I also worked at a vet office for many years so I have a lot of experience with all different breeds. And I am very comfortable administrating meditations to sick pups. I am a responsible animal owner who always has the best interest in mind for the pet, and make it a priority that the pet is safe and happy at all times. I do work full time as dental assistant during the week! But have a lot of free time on the weekends to do drop in or walks! My personal pets are my world and my life revolves around them. I incorporate the same love and attention to all pets and animals I care for.
About: I grew up with an English Sheepdog, and also worked at Alicia Veterinary Clinic in the past starting out as kennel assistant and moved up to assist with Xrays and surgeries. I have watched several of my friends dogs along with my sisters 2 boxers. I love dogs because they bring a special joy to my life! I don't get tired of playing with them because currently I don't have a dog of my own. I enjoy being outside on the weekends so having a dog to take for a walk is a perfect reason to get out of the house and moving. Dogs can make such a powerful and positive impact on people and they are so loving and it's fun to see their personalities!! I currently work in the office Tuesday - Thursdays in Newport Beach and remotely Mondays and Fridays. I can stay over any night of the week. I am extremely clean and I treat both my clients home and pets as if they were my own. I am very respectful of ones space and items in a home.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 4,385 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Silverado. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Silverado. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
