About: Hi, I’m Katelyn! I’m a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with 10+ years of experience in veterinary medicine and leadership. My services include drop-in visits, medication administration (oral, topical, and injectable), nail trims, basic pet care support, and monitoring pets with special medical needs. I am experienced working with dogs, cats, seniors, and pets requiring ongoing medical management. As an RVT, I understand how to recognize changes in behavior and health. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind while ensuring their pets receive compassionate, knowledgeable care. At this time, I am focusing on drop-in care and veterinary support services rather than pet sitting or dog walking. Services Offered: * Drop-in visits * Medication administration * Nail trims I currently work Monday-Friday 7am-3pm, but I am flexible with drop in services and happy to try to work around your schedule and your pet’s schedule as needed • Drop ins • Medication administration (injectable, oral, topical) • SQ fluids • Feeding (for example, if you have a cat and just need a drop in meal) • Nail trims • Ear cleanings (as long as the ears are not infected and it’s routine)
“David did a great job keeping our kitties happy and fed! I appreciated that with each visit he left photos and information about what happened during the visit and how they were doing. I would absolutely rebook David next time we go on a trip!”

I am currently job-seeking, which can be done from any location and allows me to have a completely flexible schedule, all days and hours of the week. I have a 2 story home with a fenced in backyard with grass. We have dog beds, dog stairs for the couch, and a small crate available.

About: We've had dogs all of our lives. We'll love yours like our own! Experienced with diabetic dogs, intact dogs, and pups with unique needs. Families continually ask us back because their dogs feel at home with us. We are attentive and provide warm, consistent care, and a bunch of pictures because we know the feeling of being apart from our dog family when we go on vacation. Home care opportunities are welcomed, and we keep your place super tidy as how you left it! We are currently just a one-dog owner as we lose our Rachel in January and are trying to keep our Sunny active/involved with another dog even if only for walks. We walk our dog 4x/day some shorter and some longer, but based on your dogs needs, we'll adjust accordingly. We live in a condo building so we have to take your dog out to relieve themselves. Depending on their needs, we'll go out at least 4x day or less if desired. We'll work with you to understand your dog's needs and we'll meet them. They will always be leashed and guided along your neighborhood or ours.

About: Hi there! I bring years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and needs, including my own husky and several senior dogs requiring medical support and veterinary visits. Pet care isn't just about completing a checklist to me. It's about knowing the animal. Some dogs want to run until they're worn out. Some want to stay close to you. Some need medication at a very specific time. I try to understand those differences before I ever begin caring for a pet. Throughout my life I've owned and loved five dogs. I understand the importance of treating every pet like family and providing care that matches their normal routine. Beyond pet care, I've also been trusted to look after luxury homes throughout Coto de Caza, Dove Canyon, Ladera Ranch, Irvine, and Newport. For over four years I managed weekly household needs while coordinating with maids, landscapers, pool services, and other vendors. Whether it's keeping up with energetic dogs, providing extra care for senior pets, or making sure your home remains secure while you're away, you can count on me to handle everything with reliability and professionalism. I’m available most days and love spending my time with pets. My own husky enjoys running 1-2 times a day, so staying active is already part of my routine. At home, I also care for two cats, so I’m comfortable balancing different personalities and needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve learned how to build trust quickly—even the shyest cats seem to warm up to me. I provide a safe, caring, and consistent environment where pets feel secure and loved.

About: Outdoor enthusiast that thrives off of being active each and every day. Weekly Jogger, Hiker, Longboarder and drummer. Located in Irvine, right next to Irvine Great Park. 2 years, off-booked dog walker in NJ and former Wag! Walker. We raised money to help out my alma mater's high school band program, and connected multiple animals with affectionate families. Availability is always open for discussion, normally between the morning hours, to afternoon/dinnertime. I've been comfortably trained in dog-walking/dog-sitting/house sitting/overnights and drop in visiting. I'm ready to be working for Rover part-time and I couldn't be more excited to meet furry faces in familiar places. I currently work from home, so I have full access in being around your loved one 🤙 My workflow starts around 9:30AM, I'm usually up by 7AM the latest, so we can start the day with breakfast together and a sweet morning walk! Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 4,385 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Silverado. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Silverado. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
