Erica is wonderful! She takes care of our dog, cats, and turtle when we are out of town and they all love her. After the visit, Erica always writes how the visit went, how our small zoo is doing and sends pictures of everyone. :) They all love getting pets and cuddles from Erica when she visits!

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years and genuinely treat every pet like family. Whether it’s a high energy puppy, a senior dog who just wants a slow stroll, or a couch potato who lives for belly rubs, I’m happy to meet them where they are. Along with years of personal pet care, I also have professional experience working in emergency veterinary medicine, so I’m comfortable recognizing when something isn’t quite right and staying calm under pressure. I’m also an EMT with years of emergency medical experience working with federal contracts which means safety, attention to detail, and quick decision making come naturally to me. I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos, walks, playtime, cuddles, and, of course, lots of treats (with your permission!). My goal is for your pet to feel loved, comfortable, and excited every time they see me. 🐾 Dogs & Cats * ✅ Oral medication administration * ✅ Topical medication administration * ✅ Injection medication of your pets prescribed medications. * ✅ Senior pet care * ✅ Puppy care * ✅ Kitten care * ✅ Special needs pets * ✅ Basic first aid/emergency recognition * ✅ Mobility assistance * ✅ Feeding (including special diets) * ✅ Exercise & enrichment * ✅ Crate training reinforcement * ✅ Potty break visits Grooming * ✅ Basic brushing * ✅ Teeth brushing * ✅ Ear cleaning * ✅ Nail trims Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I currently work flexible per diem shifts, which gives me the ability to provide reliable drop in visits, walks, daytime visits and overnight care throughout the week. I keep my schedule updated and only accept bookings I know I can fully commit to. Your pet will always receive my full attention, and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you know they’re happy and well cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have over 10 years of pet care experience, have worked in emergency veterinary medicine, and I’m also a licensed EMT. Staying calm, recognizing emergencies, and paying attention to the little things comes naturally to me. I care for every pet as if they were my own following your routines, respecting your home, and making sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, exercised, and spoiled with plenty of belly rubs (and treats, if approved!). Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, senior, or needs medication, they’re in capable and caring hands.

We’re so happy to have met Bradey. We have 2 small malteses. A blind 16 year old (Roxy) and a nervous 4 year old (Bob). Our Roxy gets very anxious and will sometimes have accidents at home. Bradey was greeted with a couple accidents and she helped clean it up. She cleaned up Roxy too. Bob was nervous at first and eventually warmed up to her after a couple treats. She gave us updates throughout the drop in which was really reassuring. She sent us pictures of our dogs and the walks which was great. She did walks with each dog and when I came home from work, they were both so calm. I was almost certain that she may not want to come back as some of our sitters have found Roxy to be overwhelming but instead she sent me the kindest message that she would love to drop in or house sit for both my babies anytime. We have booked her for our upcoming trip. We appreciate Bradey so much. Thank you for caring for our babies.

About: I bring over a decade of pet care experience, I worked at a Wag hotels before so have a lot of experience with many different dog breeds, cats! Also can giving medication and care for pets with special needs! I have two fur babies a lively 4 year old maltipoo and a 11 year old bichon, both of whom I've raised since they were young pups. Both are rescues, which has equipped me with the knowledge of how to be gentle and understanding around animals who may have past trauma. Additionally, my experience includes training dogs, as I've successfully trained both of my own furry companions. As an experienced dog walker, I confidently handle dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring each walk is enjoyable and safe. My expertise also extends to cat care and sitting, as I've provided attentive care to feline friends as well. Whether it's walking dogs or sitting for cats, I approach each task with dedication and a deep understanding of animal behavior and needs. Pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily routine, starting from the moment we wake up until bedtime. We embark on multiple long walks throughout the day, ensuring plenty of exercise and mental stimulation for my furry companions. Our meal times are scheduled with precision, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner served at consistent times each day. Alongside their meals, my dogs receive their daily allergy medication and adhere to strict diets tailored to their individual stomach needs, a routine I've mastered due to their specific breeds. Additionally, I carve out dedicated time for play sessions lasting at least 30 minutes each day, promoting their overall health and happiness. My ultimate goal is to provide them with the best quality of life possible, ensuring they thrive and enjoy each moment to the fullest. Creating a comfortable and safe environment for pets is second nature to me. I understand the significance of fostering a trusting bond with each furry friend, ensuring they feel secure and loved in their home. Safety is paramount, especially for young puppies, and I take extra precautions to prevent any potential escapes or hazards within the home. Above all, my number one priority is the well-being and happiness of our beloved fur babies, providing them with a nurturing and secure environment where they can thrive and flourish. Additionally I used to work at a Wag hotels so I have a lot of experience caring for all different types of dog breeds and cats!

About: I live in Lake Forest (Orange County) in a very dog friendly neighborhood. I have had and loved dogs my entire life. I grew up pet-sitting my friend’s dogs until my family finally got our own Cockapoo (Toffee) who we raised as a puppy. I often visit my extended family who has larger sized dogs such as Dobermans, Boxers, Rottweilers as well as small dogs such as Pomeranians, Terriers and Chihuahuas. I also have experience working with multiple shelters and dog rescues where I helped to clean dog kennels, set-up and scheduled adoption events, and walked dogs of all shapes and sizes! I have experience watching dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to Pit Bulls. I've never met a dog I didn't love. You will often catch me saying hello to them on the street. The services I offer will be walking, drop-ins, house sitting, overnight stays, backyard/park play time, and feeding.

Jazmin is very responsible and animal loving person, she made it easier for my cats to deal with stress and do not feel alone and forgotten, while I was away moving my dog from coast to coast. I definitely recommend Jazmin as attentive, loving and thoughtful cat sitter!

About: I’ve been taking care of my dog along with some of my neighbors pets for almost 11 years now. I have an older dog that I have administered medications to in the past. I can give endless belly rubs and comfort to dogs for as long as the owner needs! My schedule is very wide open at the moment. Currently looking for a part-time job but as of right now, I am taking as many clients as possible. In my home, I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. All pets are extremely friendly but can be kept in a separate room if necessary. We have a backyard for potty breaks and a nice route for walks.

About: Throughout my childhood, I took care of 3 dogs, and have babysat for my friend’s cats on numerous occasions so I have plenty of experience when it comes to animal care. I have experience baby sitting animals, visiting friends houses to feed, pet, and clean their litter boxes, and understand the importance of maintaining a sanitary and kind environment. Pet care fits really well into my weekly routine! I work weekdays, usually somewhere between 12pm and 8pm, though my start time varies—some days I don’t start until 3pm. Because of that flexibility, I’m able to fit in walks and visits earlier in the day or later in the evening. I also don’t work weekends, which gives me plenty of availability for weekend care. Spending time with pets is one of the best parts of my day, so I’m always happy to work my schedule around making sure they’re well taken care of! When visiting people’s homes, my first important step is to ensure their pet has an adequate amount of food and water. Once this has been completed, then I would see if any of the animals need to be let outside to pee. My next step would be to make sure the animal doesn’t need any additional care that may vary depending on their age or conditions.

About: I have had my maltese, Milky, for fifteen years and unfortunately had to say goodbye to my childhood dog back in 2023. I would love to meet some new dogs and spend more time with some new friends! I have experience working with dogs as I worked at a dog grooming salon. I had always wanted a dog when I was younger and felt a strange connection to dogs, wherever and whenever I saw them. I have also worked with No Stray Left Behind which is an organization that helps adopt abandoned dogs. I’m currently working part-time so have plenty of time to look after or walk your pet! (: My schedule is pretty flexible so it shouldn’t be hard to find availability! I have a fenced backyard that is definitely safer than just letting the dog outside and also live in a cul de sac where I can safely walk the dog if needed!

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Silverado

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 4,343 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Silverado. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Silverado. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
