“Larissa did AMAZING WORK! The animals loved her and were so well cared for. She house sat for us for a few days, I was so worried to trust anyone but she cared so much for my animals and took all the worry away with her constant updates and photos. I highly recommend her.”

“Denae was so helpful and considerate. She took great care of my cat and the house. I came home to a clean litter box and emptied trash cans. My cat adores her, especially that she dedicated time every day to sit on the floor and play with her. Highly recommended!”
About: I have cared for pets specifically Pit bulls since I was 8. Over the span of 12 years I have cared for seven Pit bulls; Also known as American terriers. I specifically highlight I have cared for pit bulls because I know people and society tend to shy away from this breed and attach a negative perception. I am more than willing to care for your pit and can handle just about everything. I have cared for super active, young pups to the senior dog who sleeps all day. I have also learned how to train and teach them how to sit, stay, hand commands and potty train. My dogs have since passed away and I no longer own any dogs. I learned so much about Pit bulls and of course dog needs that have helped me in other areas of my life both professionally and personally. I absolutely adore them and all breeds and will be super enthused to care for your pet and their needs! I am mostly available to care for your pet during the weekends but I am also available early in the morning, evening and night during the weekdays. I attend university so I am mostly home if I am not at school. I live in a quiet neighborhood. Also, if your dog were to stay at my home there is plenty of room for play and rest in my large backyard!
About: I love spending time with animals and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I know every dog has their own personality, routines, and needs, and I enjoy getting to know each one so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I cared for my own senior dog, who needed daily medication and extra patience, so I’m experienced with administering medications and providing the gentle care that older pets need. That experience taught me how important it is to pay attention to the little things and make sure pets feel secure and cared for. I’m also happy to care for puppies, helping them stick to their routines with plenty of patience and play. I believe communication is just as important as great pet care, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your pet is happy and in good hands. My goal is to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for until you’re back home. I’m currently job hunting so I have a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide reliable care, regular walks, drop-in visits, and plenty of companionship. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I work to maintain their normal routines and help them feel comfortable while you’re away. When caring for client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow feeding, exercise, and medication instructions carefully while providing plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they have peace of mind knowing their pet is well cared for.

About: I’m an experienced, intuitive dog caregiver who blends calm confidence with playful, genuine affection. I’ve worked with pups of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I’m especially skilled at reading body language, easing anxiety, and building trust with shy or energetic dogs. My hospitality background shows up in the way I communicate clearly, stay organized, and anticipate both the dog’s needs and the owner’s peace of mind. Whether it’s maintaining routines, handling medication, managing multi‑dog households, or keeping high‑energy pups happily engaged, I bring steady reliability and a warm, joyful presence that dogs connect with right away. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I work part‑time on weekends and I’m on summer break from school. I have plenty of open time during the week for walks, drop‑ins, and longer visits, and I balance my weekend job with consistent pet‑care hours. This flexibility lets me give each pet focused, reliable attention and maintain steady routines for kittens, senior cats, pregnant cats, and dogs alike. I provide a calm, stress‑free environment for every pet I care for. In my home, I offer a quiet space with no children, a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, and a relaxed atmosphere where pets can settle in comfortably. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely, keep their space tidy, and make sure they feel secure and comfortable in their familiar environment. Whether I’m hosting or visiting, I focus on safety, consistency, and creating a peaceful experience for each pet.
About: My passion for animals began when I was a young child. Being able to turn my love for animals into something tangible has been a dream come true. I was able to start my pet sitting experience 25 years ago and hoping to continue to add many more years! My range with experience includes rodents to dogs. If your pet has special food requirements, I can be of service . I’ve stayed over at clients homes to offer pet care. I’ve had fur babies stay overnight at my home. I’ve also housed day camps at my home. I enjoy taking fur babies on walks, and to local parks. I don’t mind taking fur babies in the car. Feel free to ask for more details on services I may have forgotten to mention! I am available Monday-Sunday all day. During the regular school year, I would need to be available to drop my kids off for school and pick them up. I am a doting pet mommy of 8 indoor kitties and 1 doggie. They all have access to whatever tickles their fancy. There is always ample water available at all times. Cats graze all day so food bowls are placed around for them to get to but high enough the dog cannot get to it. My pets and the pets of my clients have been able to sleep where ever the want (couch, cat trees, chairs, beds, etc). We are a super loving family and really love having fur babies around. We hope to welcome yours! One final note, I don’t allow my dog or the fur babies of my clients to stay outside overnight . Everyone is tucked inside for the night. When I need to step away from my home, I will typically ask the echo dot to play music for background noise.
“I can’t say enough good things about Emily. From her communication to the way she cared about my dogs, she is just great. Definitely booking again if she is available. Thank you so much for your help Emily”

“Mae did a great job taking care of our corgis. When I returned home they were happy and safe and feed. She is trust worthy and sent pictures of the puppies. She as booked with us last minute on new years which was amazing help to us. My house was also how I left it. Would definitely book again. Thank you Mae.”

“Air was so great!! Bubba can be aggressive, depending on how you approach him, and he immediately ran up to her and gave her a kiss 🥹 He won’t do a lot of things while I’m gone, but she got him to go outside, potty, fetch, and eat cheese - things he wouldn’t even do for my family off the bat. I appreciated the updates throughout the day, as well as the pictures. This was my first time using Rover, and I’m so glad that I chose Air to watch Bubba while I was visiting for a wedding 🩷 I would ABSOLUTELY rebook if I lived there!!”

“Cambria took awesome care of our two cats while we were away! She’s professional and responsive, and we appreciated the updates and photos. Our cats look forward to seeing her again!”

“I loved how attentive and communicative he was with looking out for my senior dog. He has a hard time with new people and it made me happy to see he was so good on his second day with Martin. Will definitely rebook in the future.”

About: Hi, I’m Gizelle! 🐾 If you’re anything like me, your pets aren’t “just pets”—they’re family. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to leave them in someone else’s care and trust that they’ll be loved, understood, and kept safe while you’re away. That’s exactly the kind of care I strive to provide. I have over 4 years of experience working in veterinary medicine and hold an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. Throughout my career, I’ve cared for pets of all ages and personalities—from playful puppies and energetic adolescents to senior pets who need a little extra patience, comfort, and medical support. I also have experience administering medications and caring for pets with special needs, so you can feel confident knowing your furry family member is in capable hands. Beyond my professional experience, fostering rescue dogs has truly shaped who I am as a caregiver. I’ve welcomed dogs from all walks of life into my home—dogs who were scared, grieving, learning to trust again, or simply waiting for their forever families. Those experiences taught me that every animal is unique and deserves to be met with compassion, patience, and unconditional love. As a dog mom myself, I understand the little things that matter most: sticking to routines, respecting boundaries, celebrating quirky personalities, and making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in your absence. Whether your pup loves long walks and playtime, prefers quiet cuddles on the couch, or needs extra reassurance while you’re away, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to hand over the leash to someone else. My promise to you is that your pet will be treated with the same love, attention, and respect that I would want for my own dogs. I’ll keep you updated with photos, messages, and all the little moments that help you feel connected while you’re apart. Thank you for considering me to care for one of the most important members of your family. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend and give them the love and care they deserve Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule—it’s part of who I am. My days naturally revolve around the pets in my care, making sure they have their meals on time, daily exercise, enrichment, affection, and any special care they may need. I know how important routines are for pets, so I do my best to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible while giving them plenty of love and attention along the way. I believe every pet deserves care that’s tailored to their individual needs and routine. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I take the time to learn their feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite activities, and any special instructions to help them feel safe and comfortable. I provide plenty of love, attention, playtime, potty breaks, walks, and enrichment, while also respecting their boundaries and personalities. With my background in veterinary medicine, I’m comfortable administering medications and caring for senior pets or those with special needs. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so pet parents can have peace of mind knowing their furry family members are happy and well cared for while they’re away. My goal is always to make your pet feel loved, secure, and as close to their normal routine as possible—because I know they’re not just pets, they’re family. 🐾❤️
About: At the shelter, I’ve walked dogs of many different ages and sizes and am comfortable handling them, ensuring they stay safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently a college student working toward becoming a radiologist. Since it’s summer, I have a very flexible schedule and am available whenever needed to provide reliable pet care. I love spending time with animals and enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Pet-sitting and dog walking are a great way for me to do something I genuinely enjoy while also helping support my education. I’m committed to providing attentive care, plenty of exercise, and lots of affection to help pets stay happy and healthy. I’m also happy to work with pet owners to accommodate their pets’ individual routines and needs. I make sure pets are always in a safe, secure environment, whether in my home or theirs. I supervise them closely, keep spaces clean, and remove hazards. I follow each pet’s routine, provide plenty of attention and care, and ensure they feel comfortable and relaxed. Trust is important, so I communicate with pet owners regularly and treat every pet as if they were my own.
“Last minute request and she was able to help! Really communicative and great with our puppies. Left our place in good shape. Would definitely have her house sit our pups again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Moreno Valley
This was our first time using Rover. We will definitely be repeat customers of Larissa at Rover. We have a little rescue dog that would not do well being boarded at all. She came from a bad situation. She bonded with Larissa immediately, tail wagging and sitting on her lap. Larissa also took excellent care of our koi pond. We even would’ve lost a small koi. Larissa took such care she quickly saw one of the fish had managed to get into the skimmer. She got it out and koi is fine. If she had not been watching like she was it would not have survived. All plants she kept watered too. Very grateful for the excellent service Larissa provided! F

I’m hesitant to write this because I need her available when I need her but I couldn’t have asked for a better Housesitter experience. Kiarrah was perfect for us. She was so attentive to my babies and allowed the distance that one of my kitty boys needed. I received many photos and videos and she made me aware of every concern. I really felt like I’d left a family member to watch my babies. She followed every instruction and I’ll happily reach out to her in the future

Chantell is a amazing dog sitter and treated Abi like her own family member. She has great attention to detail and is the true professional in this field. Chantell always kept me updated and gave me that sense of peace. Abi loved her and l will always use her first when needed.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Moreno Valley on Rover is $28.99 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

As of August 2026, there are 2,669 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Moreno Valley. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Moreno Valley walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Moreno Valley maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Moreno Valley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
