“I highly recommend Dee Dee and her loving family to take special care of your dog. They truly treated my dog Cooper like one of their family. My senior age dog has some separation anxiety issues and is noise sensitive, and the family was patient and kind to him as he settled in to the new environment. Cooper got lots of ball throws from the kids in the back yard and lots of snuggles at night. I got lots of pictures and updates throughout his stay. I got to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was living his “Other” Best Life! About: Animals have always been a part of my life. From fostering all the way to volunteering at animal rehabilitation clinics, I've enjoyed every part of the journey. Along the way, I realized that my true passion is providing a home to senior dogs, especially those that are considered to need hospice care. My family and I are all animal lovers. Our home is quite lively but we have plenty of room to also provide a quiet and calm environment for your dog should that be something they are needing or simply more accustomed to. Pet care is part of daily life in our home. We have one small dog and two cats, all of which of course need care every day. We provide a loving home for pets which includes lots of cuddling, playing, feeding and access to a large fenced-in backyard. Then when we were on our way back from our trip she made sure we made it home to make sure the dogs were not going to need anything, sometimes trips are delayed and she was there to accommodate my dogs if needed. Your dog will always have someone available to play with or spend time with during the day. We have a dog door installed that they will always have access to and a large, fenced backyard for running, playing and potty-ing. Our downstairs is tile floors, easy to clean up from any accidents they might have. If they are house trained, they will have access to the upstairs as well and can sleep in our bedrooms. If they are experiencing accidents, we have a hard floor bedroom that one of us humans(lol) will sleep in with the dogs so they do not have to sleep alone.

About: I have over 30 years of experience with dogs and cats that were just born babies to fully grown and elderly. Growing up, my family would take in pets whos owners had past away. This included many different breeds, but also most of them were elderly that needed some extra love and care. I also had my own range of pets from fish to frogs to mice to geckos growing up and of course cats and dogs. I have 6 years as a desert tortoise biologist and love all kinds of pets. I am a stay at home mom of a 16 month old so I am available to love and care for pets at any time. I am able to board pets starting from 3pm and can start daycare at 7am. We have a yard with a fenced off runner and a separate grassy area for your pups to play in and do their business. We do have two cats, but we have a gate that can separate the upstairs from the downstairs. We have plenty of room for kennels or crates if your fur baby needs them.

About: Together with my family, I have helped raised a variety of different dogs. From a mini puppy Chihuahua mix to a large adult Great Dane, I have experience with all sizes, temperaments, quirks, etc. My goal is to ensure you and your dog feel safe and comfortable at all times. I will send daily photo and/or video updates so that you can see how your dog is doing while you are away! I am currently retired and can be with your doggos all day long, giving them all the love and attention they deserve. I can give them plenty of cuddles as I am home all day long. About: I have over 30 years of experience with dogs and cats that were just born babies to fully grown and elderly. Growing up, my family would take in pets whos owners had past away. This included many different breeds, but also most of them were elderly that needed some extra love and care. I also had my own range of pets from fish to frogs to mice to geckos growing up and of course cats and dogs. I have 6 years as a desert tortoise biologist and love all kinds of pets. I am a stay at home mom of a 16 month old so I am available to love and care for pets at any time. I am able to board pets starting from 3pm and can start daycare at 7am. We have a yard with a fenced off runner and a separate grassy area for your pups to play in and do their business. We do have two cats, but we have a gate that can separate the upstairs from the downstairs. We have plenty of room for kennels or crates if your fur baby needs them.
