Doggy Day Care Terra Cotta

About: I had 2 dogs for 13 years that recently passed away, I love and miss them and am ready to love your dogs like my own. Our previous dogs were nervous during fireworks, did not like to be left alone, we've learned how important it is to be present when caring for dogs. My children and I are home most of the day, my husband works from home so the pets would rarely be alone more than a few hours at a time. Your dog will always have someone available to play with or spend time with during the day. We have a dog door installed that they will always have access to and a large, fenced backyard for running, playing and potty-ing. Our downstairs is tile floors, easy to clean up from any accidents they might have. If they are house trained, they will have access to the upstairs as well and can sleep in our bedrooms. If they are experiencing accidents, we have a hard floor bedroom that one of us humans(lol) will sleep in with the dogs so they do not have to sleep alone.

About: I have over 30 years of experience with dogs and cats that were just born babies to fully grown and elderly. Growing up, my family would take in pets whos owners had past away. This included many different breeds, but also most of them were elderly that needed some extra love and care. I also had my own range of pets from fish to frogs to mice to geckos growing up and of course cats and dogs. I have 6 years as a desert tortoise biologist and love all kinds of pets. I am a stay at home mom of a 16 month old so I am available to love and care for pets at any time. I am able to board pets starting from 3pm and can start daycare at 7am. We have a yard with a fenced off runner and a separate grassy area for your pups to play in and do their business. We do have two cats, but we have a gate that can separate the upstairs from the downstairs. We have plenty of room for kennels or crates if your fur baby needs them.

“I board my baby Blu with Nina. He is a 100 pound XL Bully and is a special guy in general. As a pitty owner, it's hard to no worry about how your dog will get treated and I was nervous to board him. Nina is absolutely amazing with dogs! Blu is a hot mess everytime he gets dropped off but always has the best time. She is super thoughtful and sends videos so I know he's doing ok. It has been such a relief having Nina and having the peace of mind my dog is in good hands with her. I highly recommend her services!!”

About: I’ve had dogs most of my life. I have years of experience with large breeds. Currently I have a Doberman and a Pit Bull/great Dane Mix. I treat my dogs as I do my children, and your dogs will be treated the same! I can board animals overnight at my own place but I would ask that a meet and greet is set up first to make sure our dogs get along well with each other. I can also board cats in a separate area of the house away from all dogs or I can do pop in visits at your place if you prefer to keep your pets at home. I have experience with senior dogs also. I am available most weekends. I work full time for a school district and I have the same holiday breaks as the surrounding schools, so I am able to provide boarding and more services during weekdays when school is out and during the holidays. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room for the dogs to run around. The dogs can be inside the home or outside the home or both. For overnight visits in my home I do not have crates or experience with crate training. My 2 dogs sleep in the bed with me. I also have a fold out couch bed in my room that they hang out on where guests can sleep. Our cats are kept in separate rooms away from the dogs as my dogs are not cat friendly.

About: I have years of experience managing animals. Anywhere from farm animals to our loyal companions. I’ve worked. In a veterinarian hospital so I do have some medical experience as well. I am an army veteran, chasing my dreams of obtaining a PhD in Animal Science. I attend Cornell University but I have lots of breaks in between classes to care for you pets. I also am a professional dog trainer and breeder. Currently not breeding while I go to school. I am very experienced in puppy raising and the individual needs of each dog. I have an Instagram so you can see my prior experience, @MK-K9. I am from California and will now be starting a new chapter in Ithaca, NY. I own two dogs. One is a 4 year old working line German Shepherd. The other is a 6 year old jack russel mix and he is my daughter’s dog. They are on their own schedule for potty. Typically they go out for a potty break every 2 hours. My schedule is very open so your pets will have many opportunities for potty. I can also separate my pets from yours if there are any concerns. I have kennels and we built a very nice enclosed outdoor kennel. It is insulated, has air conditioning, beds, water, toys and a fenced in outdoor area. I also am able to walk your pets multiple times a day. I have access to a private beach on the lake so we can have play time there as well. It is about a 2 minute walk from my house. Your pet will be monitored at all times, I currently have no litters so I have open availability. I know and understand dog etiquette. Every dog has their own individual needs. I have experience with dogs with all different types of behavior such as dogs with anxiety, high drive, insecurities, etc. I will keep my dogs and your dogs separate, unless you would like them to socialize. I do kennel my dogs when needed. I have experience with working dogs so safety is my top priority. I will never put your animals or my dogs in a situation where it is not safe. I want everyone happy and healthy! Your pets will have free roam of my place with a nice comfy bed, toys, and the food you provide.
