About: I had 2 dogs for 13 years that recently passed away, I love and miss them and am ready to love your dogs like my own. Our previous dogs were nervous during fireworks, did not like to be left alone, we've learned how important it is to be present when caring for dogs. My children and I are home most of the day, my husband works from home so the pets would rarely be alone more than a few hours at a time. Your dog will always have someone available to play with or spend time with during the day. We have a dog door installed that they will always have access to and a large, fenced backyard for running, playing and potty-ing. Our downstairs is tile floors, easy to clean up from any accidents they might have. If they are house trained, they will have access to the upstairs as well and can sleep in our bedrooms. If they are experiencing accidents, we have a hard floor bedroom that one of us humans(lol) will sleep in with the dogs so they do not have to sleep alone.
“Art is a wonderful and skillful Dog Whisperer that can calm our high energy dogs down in a few minutes. This is a true family endeavor and everyone is gracious, loving and caring. We and our dogs are so lucky to have found them!”

“Experience was a 10/10! Communication was easy, fast replying, answered any questions I had & was very kind. We will definitely be taking my little guy Cosmo back for doggy daycare. Also Nezuko their dog seemed very nice and playful with Cosmo from the pictures I received 🥹✨”

“Kelly and Kevin made my first time experience using this app very comfort and reassuring. We had a meet and great and I got to see the backyard and made sure my Max couldn’t get out. I really appreciate them caring for my baby and if I’m ever back in the area I will definitely reach out!”

About: Hi fellow fur parents! My name is Lauren, and I am a young, fun, and responsible dog lover ready to make some new furry friends. I have two dogs of my own and have cared for dogs since I was 13. I have had several experiences rescuing dogs and even rescued one of my own fur babies. I will love and care for your pets as they were my own. You can count on me to provide a loving, exciting, and safe environment for your fur babies. Whether your dog is low or high energy, we will have a blast on our daily adventures. I have a young dog and a senior dog that I had when they were both puppies, so I have experience with all ages. I am not currently working, so I am reliable, flexible, and provide fast communication. Please feel free to reach out any time. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! I am not currently working or going to school, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pups. I make my own dogs a priority and will do the same for yours. I live in a house with a fenced yard and a friendly pup always welcome to new friends. I will make sure your pet is safe and comfortable and don’t mind sharing cuddles on the couch or on the bed.

About: I have over 30 years of experience with dogs and cats that were just born babies to fully grown and elderly. Growing up, my family would take in pets whos owners had past away. This included many different breeds, but also most of them were elderly that needed some extra love and care. I also had my own range of pets from fish to frogs to mice to geckos growing up and of course cats and dogs. I have 6 years as a desert tortoise biologist and love all kinds of pets. I am a stay at home mom of a 16 month old so I am available to love and care for pets at any time. I am able to board pets starting from 3pm and can start daycare at 7am. We have a yard with a fenced off runner and a separate grassy area for your pups to play in and do their business. We do have two cats, but we have a gate that can separate the upstairs from the downstairs. We have plenty of room for kennels or crates if your fur baby needs them.
About: My name is Karla, I live in Lake Elsinore. I love taking care of dogs as I have 2 beautiful 5 pound yorkie’s who fill my life with joy. I also have a Giant Schauzer who is brilliant and also help me to train other dogs that I take care of. We take long walks, and enjoy a day of fun. I would love to be able to take care and love your pets too Whenever you need too. I stay home and will be able to provide your fur baby with the full care they need. I also love to provide you with pictures through out the day. I have a fenced yard and 3 fur babies to keep your dog safe and with great company. They are also supervised 100 percent of the time with me.
“It was our first time leaving Jax with a sitter through Rover and we couldn’t have been happier to have Ludwika look after him for a few hours. She was quick to respond and answer our questions prior to the appointment. We know our Jax is always a bit hesitant when meeting new people and being placed in a new environment, but she handled him well day of and we knew we could trust him in her care. We also appreciated her overall flexibility and availability that day, and will definitely plan to book with Ludwika in the future! :)”

“She was so good with our Laydee and Kookie! Very friendly, LOVES dogs, compassionate and so patient with our highly energetic puppies! She sent us videos periodically to update us how our babies were doing. She's very communicative. And her house!!! Fully equipped to keep our babies comfortable! She had multiple rooms with large crates, AC and tv. Huge backyard! Enough for the puppies to run around and still have their own space. Lots of toys and kiddie pools for hot days. I feel completely safe leaving our babies with her. It was like a mini vacation for us and for our babies. They loved their time with her and we will most definitely be using her service again!”

“Kristen and her family are absolutely amazing! They took such wonderful care of Princy while we spent the day at Disneyland. Kristen, her husband, and their sweet kids treated Princy like their own, she came home happy and relaxed. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was with such a loving family. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Kristen first anytime Princy needs care in the future! 🐾”

About: I enjoy caring for animals and creating a friendly, safe, fun place for them to visit. I have had large dogs for the past 20 years but don't have any pets at this time. Large or small, I provide any enjoyable place for your dog. I currently work part-time from home. I have time to enjoy your animal and go for walks: large yard, plenty of room to play. The back slider allows your pet to sit next to me, run about the yard, or sleep under a shaded tree. I have a great yard with large secure fences to ensure your dog is safely inside. I also, provide walking drop-in services at your home if that is your preference.
About: I’ve had dogs most of my life. I have years of experience with large breeds. Currently I have a Doberman and a Pit Bull/great Dane Mix. I treat my dogs as I do my children, and your dogs will be treated the same! I can board animals overnight at my own place but I would ask that a meet and greet is set up first to make sure our dogs get along well with each other. I can also board cats in a separate area of the house away from all dogs or I can do pop in visits at your place if you prefer to keep your pets at home. I have experience with senior dogs also. I am available most weekends. I work full time for a school district and I have the same holiday breaks as the surrounding schools, so I am able to provide boarding and more services during weekdays when school is out and during the holidays. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room for the dogs to run around. The dogs can be inside the home or outside the home or both. For overnight visits in my home I do not have crates or experience with crate training. My 2 dogs sleep in the bed with me. I also have a fold out couch bed in my room that they hang out on where guests can sleep. Our cats are kept in separate rooms away from the dogs as my dogs are not cat friendly.
“Brenda was great and my dog really enjoyed being at her place for a couple of dog daycare days. She provided good feedback and sent videos and photos during his stay at her place. I would use Brenda again in the future to watch my dog and her dogs seemed to get along well with my dog.”

“OMG!!!! Demelia was amazing with our dog from day one till we picked him up. She was very personable, love what she does, & kept us informed throughout. She sent us live videos daily of our dog having his walks, playing time with her dog “Moon” who’s also amazing, & cuddle relaxing time. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We would definitely book her again & again. Thank you so much for loving on our dog like he was your own.”

Our dogs, Kloee and Heidi have enjoyed going to doggie daycare at Art and Sandra's home for almost a year now. It is always a fun time for them and interacting with their dog Dayna. Our dogs Kloee and Heidi have stayed with Art, Sandra and family seven times just this year! We trust them so much because we know they take excellent care of our pups and our dogs go crazy everytime we pull up to their house. It is a happy time for them in a happy, warm, loving atmosphere!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Alberhill commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
