My senior age dog has some separation anxiety issues and is noise sensitive, and the family was patient and kind to him as he settled in to the new environment. Cooper got lots of ball throws from the kids in the back yard and lots of snuggles at night. I got lots of pictures and updates throughout his stay. I got to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was living his “Other” Best Life! “Debbie was the perfect choice to care for our dog, Lady. At 14 years old, she needs special supplements and sometimes pain medication, and Debbie was attentive to these needs. Debbie also helped make sure that Lady, sometimes a finicky, slow eater, was always fed. Extraordinarily responsive, Debbie checked in each day with updates, photos, and sometimes videos. Lady enjoyed ample time outdoors, and Debbie made sure to shield her from extreme heat. This was our first time boarding Lady, and we felt extremely comfortable and confident knowing she was in Debbie's care. She has a beautiful home well suited for dogs, both indoors and outdoors. Lady was very happy and I'm sure would have stayed at Debbie's longer, given the opportunity, lol. It was clear that Debbie and her family provided Lady with lots of love an attention. We would gladly board Lady at Debbie's house in the future. Bonus for us: Lady is a cocker spaniel and so is Debbie's dog; it was fun to compare notes about the breed and both dogs had a great time playing together.”

My 16yo pup has mobility issues and Karla jumped right in to give him special assistance, including using a special harness to help him walk and exercise. She was attentive to his needs. About: I’ve always had at least one dog since the age of 4. I’ve done very well with animals. I find pets to be very calming and I love to play with them. I used to take care of my friend’s cat for a few weeks every year, I never had a problem with her. I always try to earn a pet’s trust even it takes some time, but I’ve never had a problem with any pet before. My schedule is honestly really open. I don’t do anything throughout the day so i have a lot of free time. I love animals so why not do that in my free time. My dogs have always been well taken care of. When i used to pet sit for my friend’s they never had any complaints and only had good things to say

About: Animals have always been a part of my life. From fostering all the way to volunteering at animal rehabilitation clinics, I've enjoyed every part of the journey. Along the way, I realized that my true passion is providing a home to senior dogs, especially those that are considered to need hospice care. My family and I are all animal lovers. Our home is quite lively but we have plenty of room to also provide a quiet and calm environment for your dog should that be something they are needing or simply more accustomed to. Pet care is part of daily life in our home. We have one small dog and two cats, all of which of course need care every day. About: I had 2 dogs for 13 years that recently passed away, I love and miss them and am ready to love your dogs like my own. Our previous dogs were nervous during fireworks, did not like to be left alone, we've learned how important it is to be present when caring for dogs. My children and I are home most of the day, my husband works from home so the pets would rarely be alone more than a few hours at a time. Your dog will always have someone available to play with or spend time with during the day. We have a dog door installed that they will always have access to and a large, fenced backyard for running, playing and potty-ing. Our downstairs is tile floors, easy to clean up from any accidents they might have. If they are house trained, they will have access to the upstairs as well and can sleep in our bedrooms. If they are experiencing accidents, we have a hard floor bedroom that one of us humans(lol) will sleep in with the dogs so they do not have to sleep alone.

About: I’ve had dogs most of my life. I have years of experience with large breeds. Currently I have a Doberman and a Pit Bull/great Dane Mix. I treat my dogs as I do my children, and your dogs will be treated the same! I can board animals overnight at my own place but I would ask that a meet and greet is set up first to make sure our dogs get along well with each other. I can also board cats in a separate area of the house away from all dogs or I can do pop in visits at your place if you prefer to keep your pets at home. I have experience with senior dogs also. I am available most weekends. I work full time for a school district and I have the same holiday breaks as the surrounding schools, so I am able to provide boarding and more services during weekdays when school is out and during the holidays. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room for the dogs to run around. The dogs can be inside the home or outside the home or both. For overnight visits in my home I do not have crates or experience with crate training. My 2 dogs sleep in the bed with me. I also have a fold out couch bed in my room that they hang out on where guests can sleep. Our cats are kept in separate rooms away from the dogs as my dogs are not cat friendly.

About: I’ve always had at least one dog since the age of 4. I’ve done very well with animals. I find pets to be very calming and I love to play with them. I used to take care of my friend’s cat for a few weeks every year, I never had a problem with her. I always try to earn a pet’s trust even it takes some time, but I’ve never had a problem with any pet before. My schedule is honestly really open.
