“OMG!!!! Demelia was amazing with our dog from day one till we picked him up. She was very personable, love what she does, & kept us informed throughout. She sent us live videos daily of our dog having his walks, playing time with her dog “Moon” who’s also amazing, & cuddle relaxing time. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We would definitely book her again & again. Thank you so much for loving on our dog like he was your own.”

“She took very good care of Charlee! Gave it her all to make sure Charlee ate and drank during her recovery from skin inflammation. Sent pictures and messages to reassure me that she was resting and hydrated. Was available on such short notice so I really appreciated it.”

“Kimberly was great with my fur baby. She send me pictures and videos of her while she was at her house . My fur baby needed extra attention and Kimberly did everything she could to make her feel comfortable. Thank you Kimberly !”
“Yummy loved her and his experience away from home. Tanesia was so gracious and kind. We asked her to watch my pup while we attended funeral services for my father. It was a rough time for us but she made it a little easier by giving yummy a place to go where he felt comfortable and was well cared for. This was yummy's first puppy sitting experience, and despite his apprehension to strangers and mild separation anxiety, he did super well. He gravitated to Tanesia and was made to feel right at home. She sent photos and video of his day to help appease me. I will definitely be using her services for Yummy again in the future. Thanks again, Tanesia! 🙏🏽💛”

About: I have over 30 years of experience with dogs and cats that were just born babies to fully grown and elderly. Growing up, my family would take in pets whos owners had past away. This included many different breeds, but also most of them were elderly that needed some extra love and care. I also had my own range of pets from fish to frogs to mice to geckos growing up and of course cats and dogs. I have 6 years as a desert tortoise biologist and love all kinds of pets. I am a stay at home mom of a 16 month old so I am available to love and care for pets at any time. I am able to board pets starting from 3pm and can start daycare at 7am. We have a yard with a fenced off runner and a separate grassy area for your pups to play in and do their business. We do have two cats, but we have a gate that can separate the upstairs from the downstairs. We have plenty of room for kennels or crates if your fur baby needs them.
About: As the sole proprietor of Hau`oli `Ilio Dog Boarding and Daycare I have 10 years of experience. My mother who also helps care for the dogs has over 20 years of experience. We will always have someone here to attend to your pups needs I currently have a dog boarding business so we are available 7 days a week including holidays! Pick up and drop off hours are between 6am-6pm. We have moved from Valley Center but will pick-up dogs between Valley Center and Perris, CA. We offer a fenced in 2 acre lot with a smaller fenced in area of about 3200 sqft. Including turf and patio area. We offer 24/7 care and will always have someone to look after your pups. We also can crate your dog if you desire or they are welcome in our home to be as comfortable as possible while you are away.
“They were awesome with being able to accomadate me so last minute! They provided me with pictures and updates and I know he was in good hands. Levi was so happy to stay here and I definitely hope to get their help again soon!”

“I can rest easy knowing that my fur baby is well cared for - thank you for providing peace of mind and great service Ryan! I highly recommend him if you’re in need of a pet sitter.”

About: I started caring professionally for animals when I was just 16 years old. In the veterinary facilities over the years, I worked my way up from kennel attendant, to customer service representative, to customer service supervisor, to customer service manager, to reproduction veterinary assistant. Over these years I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages. During my time as a reproduction veterinary assistant, I found a passion for breeding/deliveries/neonatal puppy care etc. I took this passion and started caring for other people’s pregnant momma dogs within my home. I delivered the puppies, and raised them for infinite weeks until said breeders found their forever families. I raised, cared for, and trained over 150 puppies within my home during the last 4 years. I established long lasting relationships with not only the momma dogs families, but also the families of many of the puppies I was blessed to raise here. Many of which now come to me to watch and care for their dogs/puppies while on vacation, busy day at work, or maybe need a bath/blowdry/brushout/nail trim etc. when needed. I wanted to open up my home and extend my love and animal care for anyone else who may need my service. I am home all day most days. Now that my kids are grown and come and go on their own, I have ability to care for others pets and fully accommodate any needs they may have. When pets are in my home, they can roam freely within designated areas, sleep in beds with us like they are family, or be crated off and on if preferred by their families. We have a fenced yard for outside playtime and a designated turf area for dogs to do their business.
“First time using doggy daycare through Rover. Ems was fantastic with my 3-month old puppy. Couldn't be anymore grateful for the top notch service provided. Will come back to Ems again.”

About: I have experience with senior care (medication, frequent potty breaks) and puppy (play sessions) care! My house has no children and is typically a calm welcoming environment. I’m currently doing my internship hours and schooling online. I also work as a substitute teacher. This provides me with more flexibility with boarding times. My sister, who works from home, helps me take care of our dog and our boarding visitors when I need to step out of the house. We can provide potty breaks at any time and can attend to your pet’s needs 24/7. I have a fenced yard, however pets only go outside for some sunbathing time or potty breaks. Water bowls are set up in different areas of the house and any feeding schedule can be implemented. Someone is always home which means your pets always has company. My dog, Cece, enjoys having company over, but she typically gives others their space. I only board one dog at a time to make sure that pets feel safe and are not overwhelmed by the new environment. Pets are always allowed on the couch and sleep in my room.

I would love to be able to take care and love your pets too Whenever you need too. I stay home and will be able to provide your fur baby with the full care they need. I also love to provide you with pictures through out the day. I have a fenced yard and 3 fur babies to keep your dog safe and with great company. They are also supervised 100 percent of the time with me.

“We could tell Milo was happy and excited to be at Carolyn's house. Our boy is very sensitive to other people's energy and can tend to be a skiddish dog, suspicious of strangers and new people, but he seems to genuinely enjoy Carolyn's home. I feel confident leaving him with her, and I can tell he is in good hands. You can tell she is an experienced dog owner with a genuine heart. I guess it doesn't hurt that Ms.Carolyn gives the best treats too! :) Thank you Carolyn, for taking such good care of our Boy :)”

As of July 2026, there are 2,534 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Good Hope. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Good Hope commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,534 sitters in Good Hope, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
