I strive to follow your dog’s routine and schedule to allow a smooth and pleasant stay while in my presence. Dogs are free to roam in my home so long as they are great with kids and are potty trained. Available full time as I am a part time student. Will be in your dog’s presence for most of the day. About: I have over 30 years of experience with dogs and cats that were just born babies to fully grown and elderly. Growing up, my family would take in pets whos owners had past away. This included many different breeds, but also most of them were elderly that needed some extra love and care. I also had my own range of pets from fish to frogs to mice to geckos growing up and of course cats and dogs. I have 6 years as a desert tortoise biologist and love all kinds of pets. About: I have experience with senior care (medication, frequent potty breaks) and puppy (play sessions) care! My house has no children and is typically a calm welcoming environment. I’m currently doing my internship hours and schooling online. I also work as a substitute teacher. This provides me with more flexibility with boarding times. We can provide potty breaks at any time and can attend to your pet’s needs 24/7. I have a fenced yard, however pets only go outside for some sunbathing time or potty breaks. Water bowls are set up in different areas of the house and any feeding schedule can be implemented. Someone is always home which means your pets always has company. I do not currently work outside of the home, so I have a flexible schedule and time to dedicate to animal care, including walks, drop-ins and overnight stays. I enjoy spending time with animals and will provide them with lots of attention and companionship. We currently have three dogs and a cat of our own, so caring for animals is truly part of my everyday life. One of my dogs is reactive, which has given me firsthand experience in understanding triggers, reading body language, and creating a calm, structured environment to help them feel safe. I'm mindful with boundaries, slow introductions and importance of routine for dogs who need a little more support. My schedule is very open and flexible right now which means I can accommodate a variety of schedules and can be very attentive to each pet's needs and routine. If I'm staying in your home, I treat it with the utmost respect and keep things clean, organized and secure. I bring a grounded, mindful presence to pet care. I practice yoga and truly enjoy creating a peaceful environment for both people and animals. I am active and enjoy getting outside so your pets will get the exercise and attention they need, balanced with companionship while you are away.

About: I have gained lots of skills in my profession working at shelters and animal hospitals. For both, I was responsible for feeding, cleaning and grooming all the animals we housed. Even vet care if needed. So no need to worry, nothing will come to a surprise for me! I’m currently working at California Wolf Center.
