Saron was so helpful with my last minute request for dog walking. She gave me updates and responds immediately! I’ll definitely book with her again. She was mindful of it being a hot day and looked out for my pups. Great caretaker! Thank you.

About: I have experience caring for any kind of dogs and cats. I foster shelter dogs, raised and trained my Labrador Ace from a puppy and owned a senior rescue dog. I know how to care for puppies, teenager and elderly dogs, as well as kittens and cats. I'm particularly good with shy cats and getting them out of their shell, but enjoy an active, playful cat like mine just as much. Our home has a front and back yard, both fenced and a living area plus an attached sunroom. I can separate pets if needed. I have a cat room, only cats can get in, dogs have to stay outside. My cat usually roams the whole house. Can separate if needed. I also have the ability to take active dogs on walks or runs as I am an active person and runner. I am currently staying at home, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, making it easy to accommodate any pets needs . I have plenty of space for pets, including a front and back yard, both fenced, and a living area with an attached sunroom. I also have a large crate available if needed. One of the bedrooms is reserved as a no dog zone for cats.

About: I've cared for a wide variety of animals, including dogs of all ages, size, and temperaments; from energetic puppies to senior dogs, social butterflies to anxious pups, and everything in between. I've also fostered cats and lived with several over the years. No matter the species, I'm an animal lover first and will treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I provide frequent updates with photos and videos and am happy to check in with you as often as you'd like while you're away. Pets are family, and family deserves the very best care! Please note: I have base access and work with families and their pets on Camp Pendleton and in the areas around mainside (oceanside, vista, carlsbad, etc) I know how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets while you're away. My availability is typically strongest during early mornings, evenings, and weekends, though I do have some flexibility during weekday hours. If my schedule is open, I'm ready to provide your pets with plenty of attention, care, and companionship! As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members. I share my home with two dogs and a bearded dragon, so caring for animals is a big part of my everyday life. I believe pets are happiest when they can maintain their normal routines and stay comfortable in a familiar environment. Whether I'm providing drop-in visits, walks, or house sitting, I take the time to learn each pet's individual needs, preferences, and schedule. I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, affection (if they want it!), fresh water, meals, and any other care instructions you provide. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, loved, and as stress-free as possible until you're back home.

About: I’ve cared for animals personally and understand feeding routines, potty breaks, exercise, companionship, and keeping owners consistently updated. I’m attentive to changes in behavior and take the safety of your pet seriously. I have flexible availability and am open to drop-in visits, pet sitting, and some walks depending on distance and schedule! I am currently enrolled in both online and in-person college courses during the fall semester, so my schedule remains quite flexible at the moment. I prioritize each pet's safety, comfort, and routine. In my clients' homes, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, fresh water, exercise, medications, and any special needs. I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep pets away from hazards, and provide plenty of attention and companionship. About: I believe in the freedom a pet has to do their business and for me to be their poop collector. I will help your senior dog get around if they need a little extra help or with your puppy to gain confidence exploring a new area. I have 3 dogs. 2 Senior at 11 years old and 1 younger at 3 years old. They are taken care of first thing in the morning and last thing at night. 1 has many allergies that we care for each day. When helping out at a pets home I follow directions of the owner. If the pet is allowed in the yard I will stay with them while they are playing and or exploring. I clean up after pets if they accidently make a mess or spill some of their food / water.

About: I have been involved with animals most of my adult life. I have raised a Guide Dog with my daughter when she was in middle school and have volunteered at two separate rescue organizations. I volunteered at the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary taking care of cats for two years and am currently volunteering as a dog walker for the Humane Society in Oceanside. In addition, I have rescued a total of three dogs. My two current rescue dogs are part of the family and make me smile everyday. I am currently working part-time at an elementary school in Oceanside and can work with pets in the morning, on the weekends, and during my many breaks from school. My goal is to eventually dedicate all my time to working with pets. I will follow my client’s instructions on caring for their pet and will make sure their pet is safe with me out on walks. I have two bigs dogs of my own and know how to make sure that they never escape.

We have been using Sarah since 2020 when she was in Newark and somehow we ended up near her again in Tracy. She is incredible. Sarah has not only walked, cared for, checked in and sat our own dogs, but has helped me care for my foster dogs/puppies while I would be away at work. Whether it was just cuddling and cleaning up their pens, or helping me determine better food or what teethers to give, Sarah has always been such a great source of guidance for us and thoroughly knows all things dogs! She communicates extremely well and is always reliable. Thankful to have had Sarah as long as we have.

About: Hi! I’m an animal lover with a background as a veterinary technician, and caring for pets has always been something I’m passionate about. My vet tech experience has given me the skills to confidently care for pets with different personalities, needs, and medical requirements. I’m comfortable with everything from giving medications and caring for senior pets to providing lots of playtime, walks, cuddles, and attention. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m patient, reliable, and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether your pet needs extra TLC, a little help sticking to their routine, or just a fun companion while you’re away, I’d love to help keep them happy, safe, and comfortable! I have a very flexible schedule as I work from home, therefore I am available on a short notice for whatever your needs may be! I treat all animals how I would want my own babies treated. I know how intimidating it is to leave your pets behind with someone, but rest assured I will treat them like my very own.

As of September 2026, there are 6,843 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Camp Pendleton. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Camp Pendleton. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Camp Pendleton.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Camp Pendleton. On Rover:

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
