About: I’m new to cali! I came from Jersey about a month ago and had to leave my pets behind with my mom and would love to have the opportunity to meet and care for some of your furry babies! I work from home, and it’s just me and my 5 month old baby at the moment. I have time to spare when it comes to watching pets but am hesitant to get my own since I’m still new here so I thought this would be a great way to warm up to it! I also live on a military base which is fairly safe in a house with a gated yard as well as much free space around me!

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life and caring for them is something I genuinely love!! I previously worked at an emergency and specialty hospital for animals where I gained experience caring for dogs with a wide variety of personalities, needs, and temperaments. That experience taught me how important patience, attentiveness, and understanding are when caring for someone’s pet. I’m comfortable around young, energetic, nervous, shy, senior, and high-maintenance dogs. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior or anything that may indicate a pet isn’t feeling like themselves. I currently work a part time job at a restaurant in downtown Oceanside and my shifts are only up to 5 hours at a time. So I have a pretty flexible schedule that can be easy to work around! When caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to keep them comfortable and maintain the routine they’re already familiar with. I’ll take the time to learn their normal feeding schedule, walk and potty routine, personality, preferences, and any special instructions from their owner. I’ll provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, cuddles, and companionship while making sure they’re safe and comfortable in their own space. I’m also very attentive to changes in behavior or anything that seems unusual, and I’ll keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel reassured while they’re away. I want your pets to feel like they’re spending time with someone they can trust, rather than simply being checked on while you’re gone!

I also am an experienced pets house sitter and can stay at your home, your pets will be comfortable with their usual environment and routines. Your home will be safe and maintained, mail will be picked up every couple days. I always clean up after myself before leaving your home so that it's as clean as you left it and I respect your home while I'm there. I love animals and I will take good care of your babies while you're gone. I send pictures and updates so you can be at ease knowing they're in good hands.
