“Samantha was an excellent walker for my two pups!! She was kind, caring, and went above and beyond to make a good experience for my babies. I had lots of last minute instructions and she was very helpful and understanding, which I was very grateful for. Thank you Samantha, I would definitely book again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and rabbits for neighbors and friends since I was 10. I grew up with dogs, and loved helping train them. I have found great success with force free training! I am a student, so I have time during the week for dog walks and at home check ins! I may have occasional weekend availability as well, but will be able to help out most on weekdays. I don’t offer care for pets at my home, but I am happy to work with whatever requests you have. I am very flexible and happy to accommodate specific rules if needed, I know every pet has their own quirks :)

About: I have experience caring for any kind of dogs and cats. I foster shelter dogs, raised and trained my Labrador Ace from a puppy and owned a senior rescue dog. I know how to care for puppies, teenager and elderly dogs, as well as kittens and cats. I'm particularly good with shy cats and getting them out of their shell, but enjoy an active, playful cat like mine just as much. Our home has a front and back yard, both fenced and a living area plus an attached sunroom. I can separate pets if needed. I have a cat room, only cats can get in, dogs have to stay outside. My cat usually roams the whole house. Can separate if needed. I also have the ability to take active dogs on walks or runs as I am an active person and runner. I am currently staying at home, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, making it easy to accommodate any pets needs . I have plenty of space for pets, including a front and back yard, both fenced, and a living area with an attached sunroom. I also have a large crate available if needed. One of the bedrooms is reserved as a no dog zone for cats.
About: I believe in the freedom a pet has to do their business and for me to be their poop collector. I will help your senior dog get around if they need a little extra help or with your puppy to gain confidence exploring a new area. I have 3 dogs. 2 Senior at 11 years old and 1 younger at 3 years old. They are taken care of first thing in the morning and last thing at night. 1 has many allergies that we care for each day. When helping out at a pets home I follow directions of the owner. If the pet is allowed in the yard I will stay with them while they are playing and or exploring. I clean up after pets if they accidently make a mess or spill some of their food / water.
“Samantha is terrific with our “kids” and they really enjoy having someone to get them out to stretch their legs! Looking forward to many many more walks and adventures! Thank you Sam!! “Josh & Fiddler!””

You will receive photos and updates during their stay to keep you posted. I am a stay at home mom so pick up and drop offs, errands, play time and taking care of all of the pups is my daily routine! Dogs that stay with us have free roam of our house. We leave our back door open most days so the dogs can come and go as they please inside and outside. We like to mimic what you do at home. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
