“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reliable, Caring, and Went Above & Beyond! I can’t recommend Megan enough! Not only has she been amazing with my dog, but she truly went above and beyond when I needed last-minute care while I was out of state. I was in a tough spot, and Megan stepped in without hesitation—making sure my pup was walked and well cared for while I was away. She kept me updated with messages and photos that gave me total peace of mind. It’s clear she genuinely cares and I knew Ally was in the best of hands. If you’re looking for someone dependable, flexible, and incredibly kind, Megan is the one. Five stars isn’t enough! Thank you so much, Megan!”

About: Hi! I’m Anna, I’ve been a total dog lover my entire life! For years, I’ve been the go-to person for family, friends, and neighbors whenever they need someone to watch their pups. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs, big and small, and I absolutely love getting to know their different personalities. I know your pup is a true member of your family, and I promise to treat them like part of mine—with tons of affection, playtime, and love! I work part-time from home for just two hours every morning, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate the rest of my day to taking care of your pets. Safety and happiness are my top priorities. We have a big, secure yard where dogs can run, play, and burn off energy in a safe environment. I believe in treating every guest like a member of the family, providing a comfortable indoor space for relaxation and constant supervision. In the event of an emergency, the closest 24/7 animal hospital is VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group) located at 2224 South El Camino Real. I am also BLS certified, ensuring I can stay calm and helpful in the event of any unexpected situation.
“Jay is truly exceptional. He walks my husky —and not just quick strolls, but long, energizing adventures that leave my dog happily exhausted. I’m consistently impressed by how much exercise my pup gets with him. Jay is the most professional dog walker I’ve ever worked with: always on time, consistently communicative, and thoughtful enough to send great photos and a map of where they walked. Most importantly, my dog absolutely loves him. Their connection is obvious, and it gives me total peace of mind. I can honestly say there’s no one I trust more with my dog. I recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for pet care.”

“Karli made my first Rover experience seamless and stress free, despite me having to book short notice when my normal gal called in sick. I was so appreciative of her flexibility to help me make it work and she was so sweet and thorough. She even made sure my cats got some attention during her visits which just shows how much she loves animals. I will definitely reach back out to Karli if I need any help in the future!”

About: I have a maltese that I brought home since he was 2 months old. He is now 12 years old, but he's currently back home with my brother in SF. I have a lot of love for dogs and am good with walking them, making sure they eat, and entertaining them. I miss my dog a lot and haven't been able to see him much, so the way I treat your dog will be nothing but love, care, and patience. I'm someone who follows instructions and rules well so if there's anything specific that I need to keep in mind about, you do not have to worry. There are plenty of dog parks in my neighborhood (Great Park area), so I can easily take him or her on a walk whenever needed! Although I don't have a yard, my neighborhood has multiple parks (literally right outside my townhouse) as well as a few dog parks. I will also be sending you updates via text (with pictures and videos) or you can let me know any other ways that can make you feel comfortable/updated with your dog! PS: I don't allow dogs to be on furnitures or in bedrooms. They will sleep in the living room for overnight stays.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and absolutely love them (sometimes more than people haha). Breeders have trusted me to nurse their dogs and puppies back to health, and I have experience caring for both young puppies and senior dogs with special needs. Since my latest beloved dogs, Jacques and Jinger, passed on, I have found so much joy in welcoming other wonderful animals into our lives. We are a young couple living in the heart of Oceanside, CA, within a very pet friendly community. A dog beach and walkable city area are nearby in addition to trails and parks, and we enjoy exploring with our visiting pals. As a professional photographer, I also often enjoy taking and sharing free, high quality photos of our furry friends, in addition to the usual updates with phone snaps that I send during our time together. It is our general rule to only care for one family at a time, so your pet will have the exclusive attention and focus while in my care, ensuring they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. Every dog is not just a dog but a member of the family. I understand every animal has their own personality and individual needs, and I would love to take care of, play, walk, and love on yours and hope to become their friend. I work mostly from home and love caring for dog friends on my available days. I only host pets from one family at a time to make sure each visitor receives the best care and attention during their stay with us. For walks or drop-in visits my schedule is quite flexible. If a pup is with me for the day we will likely do a good amount of walking and play, I'll ensure they are provided water and any other details for their care is followed, and we'll simply have a fabulous day together :) We live in a very dog-friendly community with walking trails, parks, the ocean, and a dog beach nearby that we love exploring with our visiting pals, (with owner permission of course). Also, an emergency pet hospital is just 5 minutes away if ever needed, though thankfully we have never had to use it.
“Sara is the very best at communicating, taking care of my dogs special needs, and is very punctual. I have had her dog sit Bubba and now dog walk and she sends loads of pictures and videos and keeps you updated constantly. Your dog will be in great hands with her. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Lexy is AMAZING!!! Highly highly highly recommend. We were referred to Lexy by a mutual friend, and we could not be more pleased with her responsiveness and the level of care she has provided for our dogs. Lexy goes above and beyond to make sure our dogs are well taken care of, and she is happy to fulfill last minute requests when needed. She is flexible and very quick to answer our questions and provide updates. Camp Pendleton South dog parents share their Rover experiences
We’ve had a wonderful experience with Megan caring for both of our dogs. She has been reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals. Our dogs are always happy to see her, and it gives us great peace of mind knowing they are in such caring hands. She has been especially helpful during a time when I’ve had some mobility issues and haven’t been able to walk the dogs myself. Knowing they are getting the exercise, attention, and care they need has been a huge relief. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker or pet sitter.

I am so grateful for Kristina! First... in a sea of bios claiming to love dogs, Kristina's is the only one with experience in the industry, making me comfortable with her knowledge in handling sensitive dogs. I needed a last minute sitter, and Kristina was able to accommodate. My sensitive pup even let her lay in bed with him! I appreciate Kristina's responsiveness, ability to accommodate, experience, and gentle soul! Thank you!

We just moved to the area and we left behind our wonderful rover in our home state, so we were nervous to try a new one here. We feel SO lucky to have found Candace and Tim! They have done a boarding for us and they also did a walk for us. They are amazing with our two pups and we will always be inquiring to book them whenever we need someone to care for them!

Benicio is a fantastic dog walker. He’s reliable, kind, and great with my dog, Bodhi. Bodhi is always excited to see him and comes back happy and tired after their walks. Benicio sends updates and photos, which I really appreciate. It’s clear he cares about the dogs he walks and pays attention to how they’re doing. I feel totally comfortable knowing Bodhi is in good hands. Highly recommend!
