“Kat is great! Bruce has been on two walks with her so far and has had a great time. Kat is extremely responsive and communicative, and we felt totally confident in sending Bruce off with her. She's good at using the app and giving updates, which we appreciate. Bruce seemed so happy when they got back, and we will definitely be booking again!”

About: I've cared for a wide variety of animals, including dogs of all ages, size, and temperaments; from energetic puppies to senior dogs, social butterflies to anxious pups, and everything in between. I've also fostered cats and lived with several over the years. No matter the species, I'm an animal lover first and will treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I provide frequent updates with photos and videos and am happy to check in with you as often as you'd like while you're away. Pets are family, and family deserves the very best care! Please note: I have base access and work with families and their pets on Camp Pendleton and in the areas around mainside (oceanside, vista, carlsbad, etc) I know how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets while you're away. My availability is typically strongest during early mornings, evenings, and weekends, though I do have some flexibility during weekday hours. If my schedule is open, I'm ready to provide your pets with plenty of attention, care, and companionship! As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members. I share my home with two dogs and a bearded dragon, so caring for animals is a big part of my everyday life. I believe pets are happiest when they can maintain their normal routines and stay comfortable in a familiar environment. Whether I'm providing drop-in visits, walks, or house sitting, I take the time to learn each pet's individual needs, preferences, and schedule. I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, affection (if they want it!), fresh water, meals, and any other care instructions you provide. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, loved, and as stress-free as possible until you're back home.

“Karli made my first Rover experience seamless and stress free, despite me having to book short notice when my normal gal called in sick. I was so appreciative of her flexibility to help me make it work and she was so sweet and thorough. She even made sure my cats got some attention during her visits which just shows how much she loves animals. I will definitely reach back out to Karli if I need any help in the future!”

About: I'll treat your pets like my own! I have experience with small to med/large dogs, and would love to meet yours. I also have experience with reactivity, so if your pup is a little salty on the leash, they'll be in good hands. I currently work part time and have plenty of time to walk, play, and give plenty of scritches. Whether your senior dog needs some slow paced fresh air, or your energetic puppy needs some serious enrichment, I'm available and flexible to fit your schedule. I've been around dogs my whole life, and have a Red Heeler mix of my own, and will care for your pets like I would my own dog. Responsibility and safety in your home and on walks are my top priority. P.S. I won't be bringing my pup on our walks, so your dog will get my full attention!

“Crystal is absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough great things about her. I instantly felt comfortable having her walk Ella and could tell she is super caring and knowledgeable about animals. She always takes the best photos on their walks...I told her she should be a dog photographer! And she takes the time to provide a thorough report of her walks with Ella...which I really appreciate. We have already booked her again and can’t wait to continue working with her! ?”

Crystal is so kind and patient. I will definitely be booking again in the near future. My dog, Fresita, had a few accidents this week because of an upset stomach, and she did not hesitate to clean it up. She was kind and understanding and even gave me some advice! Fresita loves her! I definitely recommend her.

I am so grateful for Kristina! First... in a sea of bios claiming to love dogs, Kristina's is the only one with experience in the industry, making me comfortable with her knowledge in handling sensitive dogs. I needed a last minute sitter, and Kristina was able to accommodate. My sensitive pup even let her lay in bed with him! I appreciate Kristina's responsiveness, ability to accommodate, experience, and gentle soul! Thank you!

We just moved to the area and we left behind our wonderful rover in our home state, so we were nervous to try a new one here. We feel SO lucky to have found Candace and Tim! They have done a boarding for us and they also did a walk for us. They are amazing with our two pups and we will always be inquiring to book them whenever we need someone to care for them!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
