Pets in my home are treated as my own. While I do my best to enforce my own rules (no paws on the couch or bed!) I respect others rules in their own home completely. As an avid runner and biker myself, I am strict with leash rules and safety for both dogs and those around them.

I've dealt with shy (but super nice!!!) dogs. Let me know if that's the case in advance so I can account for extra time and space in getting acquainted with them. I've also handled dogs who are funny about getting into harnesses or special leashes, so let me know and tips or tricks you have! Lastly, of course please let me know if your dog should not be pet by others or should avoid children, etc.
A typical day
I love to give dogs all the pets and love as soon as I meet them! From there, I want to get their wiggles out and take them on a energetic walk! If you want me to help practice commands (such as sit, stay, come, or heal) I'm happy to do those during a walk as well with some treats! After a good walk, if there's any extra energy I love to get down on the ground and play with them, too :)

Pet care experience
In my high school years I worked in a pet kennel, and since then have passionately looked after and walked neighbors’ dogs! As I cannot have a dog myself, I love to temporarily care for others! This is truly a passion of mine and signing up for Rover is simply out of a true desire to spend more time with pups ♥️🐶

Rachel is the best!! She’s responsive and caring. Our dog loved her and had the best time on their walks together. She provided multiple photos from each walk and included notes. We will definitely be asking Rachel to walk our dog again!
Rachel was so professional and sweet with our Spencer! We could trust her to show up on time, give him the type of walk he needed, and see lots of cute pictures of their time together. I'll definitely be getting in touch with her again when we need any more puppy walks!
