About: We are Toby and Ellen, a dog-loving couple with years of hands-on animal care experience. Ellen has volunteered and worked with several rescues and shelters in San Diego and spent three years caring for animals at PetSmart. Toby is a USMC veteran who works from home full-time, volunteers with Labs and More Rescue as an adoption coach and dog walker, and is currently studying for his dog trainer certification. We adopted both of our rescue dogs through Labs and More. Our large grassy backyard is perfect for play and running, and we are right across the street from a dog friendly park with Guajome Park and scenic trails just minutes away. Your dog will be treated like family from the moment they arrive. Toby works from home full time Monday through Friday, so your dog always has someone around. Your pup will never be left alone during the day and will get plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout the week. Your dog will have access to our large fully fenced backyard with plenty of grass to run and play. Our home is a safe, calm, and loving environment where your dog will feel right at home.

I’m home throughout the day, so your dog will get consistent care, attention, and companionship not long hours alone. I focus on a calm, loving environment where pets feel right at home. I offer a boutique style, low volume pet care experience. My home includes a secure fenced yard for safe, supervised outdoor play, and I keep a low number of pets so each one gets plenty of attention, care, and a calm, comfortable environment. When caring for pets in your home, I follow their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress free, providing feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of attention so they feel safe while you’re away.

About: I have two senior small dogs, and specialize in assisting older clientele with their needs. I also often dog sit two adult German Shepherds (+60 lbs each) - I love all pets and look forward to watching your pets. I’ve always had a knack with pets loving me too! I have an extremely flexible and can prioritize your needs in my schedule. I enjoy having the pups close, in my office during work and train them to be ready for "breaks," i.e. walks, and treats. I also like to give the dogs a job to do to make them feel special. I have a fenced yard which is small, but just right for dogs. I have several raised dog beds and umbrellas, so pets can sun bathe or enjoy the shade.
