“I boarded my Vizsla (Gunner) with Charles and Rachael over a four day span. This was the second time I’ve boarded my four year old dog. After the first boarding (not with Charles and Rachael), my dog was visibly anxious and distressed. He slept for almost two days after getting back. I could tell Gunner had a much better time. He was the same dog coming out of the service as he was going in. Gunner got a ton of walks and even went out to breakfast with Charles and Rachael. Rachael was excellent in handling all the daily ritual quirks of my dog. Communication and scheduled was absolutely easy. I would 100% recommend Charles and Rachael to anyone. About: I have experience caring for any kind of dogs and cats. I foster for the PAWS of Coronado Animal Shelter, raised and trained my Labrador Ace from a puppy and owned a senior rescue dog. I know how to care for puppies, teenager and elderly dogs, as well as kittens and cats. Currently I'm fostering an extremely anxious shelter dog and have made some good progress with her. Our home has a front and back yard, both fenced and a living area plus an attached sunroom. I can separate pets if needed. I do own a cat, she has a room only she can get into, dogs have to stay outside but she usually roams the whole house. Can separate if needed. I also have the ability to take active dogs on walks or runs as I am an active person and runner. I am currently staying at home, so I have a very flexible schedule. I absolutely love all animals and will truly cherish any opportunity to take care of your baby. I have two little kids (2- and 4-year-old girl and boy) and one senior dog (13-year-old husky). We would assess how your baby would do with the kiddos and my dog for overnight boarding. For daycare or potty breaks, this should not be an issue as the kids are in school during the day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. most days. I live in Oceanside in the Arrwood community and have a fully fenced-in yard and beautiful sidewalks and trails near me for adventures. My dog (Bandit) gets along with most dogs, gets along great with cats, and the kids love cats and dogs too. If this sounds good to you, I'd love an opportunity to meet your baby and see how I can be helpful to your family. I work from home so basically your baby would be my sidekick. We have a fenced in yard which they would have access to as long as you are okay with that. We can start the day with a walk and then hang out together -- if I go anywhere they can tag along with me or would be safe inside my home. I have a crate if needed, a fully fenced in backyard and because I work from home they would be under my supervision all day. If I have to step out they would either join me, I would crate them, or leave them to roam free in the home depending on what your preference is and what's best for the pet.

My schedule is currently wide open for the summer, so I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pups. I do ask for some advance notice, but I am open to accommodating same-day requests when possible. I provide a secure environment for pets in my home with at least 3 walks a day and plenty of engagement. I have a doodle who loves to have "sleepovers" with new friends. Safety is my top priority, so I can easily crate your dog if needed. I am fully able to accommodate any specific feeding schedules and administer any medications if required. I can provide the same level of service in your home as well, except I'll leave my doodle at home ☺️

About: I have been trusted by friends and family to pet sit the past 3 years. I love all animals the same and have owned multiple pets my whole life. I am working part time and college part time with a flexible afternoon schedule. Mornings on Friday-Sundays are always great and give me lots of free time. I have a secure fenced in backyard with chickens separated to the side. We have a dog crate inside. At this time I do not offer boarding while I am trying to train my puppy.
About: I’ve raised dogs, cats, bearded dragons, chickens, pigs, and taken care of other people’s dogs for awhile now. I love all animals and figured I could use my free time to help yours out! Im currently in between jobs so I have time. Long walks, cuddles, treats are all on the agenda. I really enjoy the company and love animals so much. Pups are safe at my home. So I’m available for day care, and possible overnights if discussed. Drop ins are no problem all day within a 10 mile radius of my work in Oceanside, and on weekends within a 15 mile radius of my home in vista.
“Sarah is just wonderful. We have had her come check in/walk our 2 large dogs a few times now. She is very responsive, detailed, and knowledgeable of different breeds/temperaments. She knows how to read dogs well and helps reinforce training/corrections. Sarah adapts to each of our dogs different personalities (one is pretty calm and the other is quite energetic) and we feel very confident in trusting our dogs with her. About: I am a fun loving, outgoing gal who loves our furry friends! I love to stay active, going out on hikes or walks are always fun to do with a buddy! Even if we stay in and become couch potatoes we can do it together and have a wagging fun time! Anything i do i will be sure to include our buddy, and taking them out to enjoy the sun. I love to stay outdoors and i also have a dog cart for our elderly furry friends too! “I boarded my Vizsla (Gunner) with Charles and Rachael over a four day span. This was the second time I’ve boarded my four year old dog. After the first boarding (not with Charles and Rachael), my dog was visibly anxious and distressed. He slept for almost two days after getting back. I could tell Gunner had a much better time. He was the same dog coming out of the service as he was going in. Gunner got a ton of walks and even went out to breakfast with Charles and Rachael. Rachael was excellent in handling all the daily ritual quirks of my dog. Communication and scheduled was absolutely easy. I would 100% recommend Charles and Rachael to anyone. One of our pups ruptured her CCL a week before our trip, and this was one of those trips that wasn't going to be cancelled or moved. Her background as a vet tech helped put our minds at ease and Emma and Otto were in some of the most capable hands during our trip.
