“My second time booking with Darcey! Pet parents of reactive dogs know how challenging it can be to find someone to dogsit - I hadn’t been on a family vacation in years because I was unaware such patient people like Darcey existed. I have a small dog who is moderately reactive to strangers and other dogs out of trauma. In the first 24 hours of staying in an unknown place, he will lightly nip at people who get too close too fast or at dogs who get right up in his face, and we understandably got turned down a couple of times by other sitters. I breathed a sigh of relief once I read Darcey had reactive dog experience and this knowledge helped her (and her partner) understand Oreo really well. That first day, they gave him the space and time he needed to realize that he was in safe arms and by the next morning they were buds! I’m so glad Oreo has found other human friends :).”

“Until recently, we had never left our pup with someone else overnight. When we met Lucy, we knew she was a great fit for our Kona. After an intro meeting, day long sit and then a 2 night stay, we knew she was ready for a 9 night stay. It took a while for her anxiety and walls to come down, but Lucy was so patient and kind with Kona. We looked forward to our updates, especially the videos and photos, and came to call them ‘Lucy Grams’. It was so comforting to see our girl having fun and Lucy’s two pups are great companions. About: Dog mom of 25 yrs. Taken care of family and friends dogs as well. You're puppy will be given lots of attention whether be walking and/or playing, will be as happy or content as I can make the experience for them! I'm a stay home mom with my 12 yr old lab mix. We would love to have another companion join us for a walk down to our residential lake with paths and scenery. Play time is good in the house and doggy naps too! I have a very friendly dog and a fenced yard to explore new scents and perfect place to stretch out and take care of business.

Auntie Melissa was great. I left Milo for 10 days and got an activity report and pictures everyday. He got a lot of attention and love from Melissa and her family. My vacation felt that much better knowing Milo was well cared for. He was happy to see me after 10 days but still wanted to stay a few more days. 😊 Highly recommend Melissa and will be using her in future.
Carrie is thorough, kind, and takes her role as doggy caretaker seriously. She sent us pictures every day and was quick to respond to our questions about our dog’s wellbeing. She even did some training and sent us home with a puppy postcard! We will be booking with her again!

Nola required some special medical attention, needing daily medication already and having developed hot spots that required treatment in the days before dropping her off for 12 days. Denise and Kevin said "no problem" and sent me daily photos and updates, which I really reassured me. Nola and the other dogs were allowed to hang out with the family inside or go outside in the fully fenced yard area as they pleased. Nola spends a lot of time outside at our home, so we thought this setup was ideal, as well as the fact that Denise has young children and Nola loves kids. All in all, we were very happy with the care Nola received during her stay and would definitely book Denise again in the future.
Our dog had a great time at Chong‘s house. She sent pictures every day of my dog being happy and having fun. Our dog was well taken care of. Chong also gave our dog a bath before leaving. Jillian is an amazing dog sitter/person and I would recommend her to anyone that needs great care for their pups! I feel very blessed that I was able to connect with her through rover because I am a highly anxious dog mom! More anxious than my dog! Zoe immediately settled in and knew Jillian was her person that would take care of her. She’s a senior dog and requires a very calm and sweet person to watch her. Jillian sends the best pictures, videos, and updates. We had to chaperone a Disney trip for my kid’s class and I didn’t have to worry about Zoe. And, I appreciate that because I was able to be fully present for my daughter and her classmates. I highly recommend Jillian and I think she’s just a caring person by nature!

I cannot recommend her enough! She treated my dog like part of her own family and made me feel completely comfortable while I was away. Her family is so loving, kind, and welcoming, and it’s clear they truly care about animals. She also had great communication the entire time and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. Loree is wonderful. She takes great care of Farley. I know he is in awesome care when he is there. Farley loves her back yard and the different friends he has to play with when he is there. Farley has 3 different eye drops that have to be administered twice a day. She assures this is done, providing me peace when I am away from him. Thank you Loree.
Our anxious pup made a new best friend!! Darcey was great! She took her time to get to know us, our dog, and our requests for his care.
