“Anasteysha was fantastic from the get-go: quick replies, communicative, accommodating, and took incredible care of our two pups! We would absolutely rebook with her whenever we need a sitter. Thank you Anasteysha!”

“David was great with our large and playful doodle. He was very communicative sending lots of updates on how our pup was doing. You can tell that he loves being around dogs and I would recommend him to anyone!”

“Rachel was amazing. I was very nervous about leaving my little guy for 2 nights. She sent me pictures and updates every day which completely eased my mind. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is uneasy about leaving their pup with a stranger. Larry came home happy and tired from playing with her pups. Thank you Rachel for taking such good care of our dog! We will be calling you anytime we need to leave town”

“Pepper had so much fun. This sitter updated me constantly and sent me pictures throughout the days. My dog had so much fun and felt so comfortable with this sitter. I didn’t have to worry about the safety or wellbeing of my pepper with Gabi. Gabi was super quick to respond to me and asked permission before taking my pepper anywhere. I will absolutely use Gabi again and recommend her to anyone that’s using Rover! This was my first time using rover and this experience really set the tone for the app! Amazing dog sitter!!”

“Amanda and her family are the best! This was my dogs' second stay with her and they were completely at ease with this familiar, safe environment. Amanda sent photos every day of their stay and their faces said it all- carefree, calm, and happy! Thank you, Amanda & Co. for accommodating us again!”

“Thank you Lucy for watching my two dogs over the holidays! We have two senior dogs on a raw diet and Lucy was very accommodating. Lucy showed up early for pick up and drop off, and provided daily updates/photos on how they were doing. Our two dogs had so much fun while away and we are so thankful to Lucy and her wonderful family!”

“She took such great care of Lance! She was very responsive and kept us updated with messages and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was also very flexible with our dates and times, and that really helped make everything work out. When I mentioned that Lance has separation anxiety and tends to bark when he hears other dogs barking, she immediately told me that she has a similar dog and is very familiar with the breed. That instantly made me feel at ease and confident that Lance was in great hands. I could tell she genuinely cared about him, and I would definitely trust her to watch Lance again in the future!”

“Tristian was a great sitter for my 5-month-old lab puppy. She sent me plenty of pictures, offered a meet-and-greet beforehand, and answered any questions I had. She has excellent communication skills and will answer any questions you have about your dog/puppy while you're away. My puppy got along with her 2 amazing dogs and sent videos of them playing together.”

“Sean & family (including their dog Zorian) were just wonderful dog sitters! This was a repeat booking with him and I certainly plan to use him again in the future. They welcomed my dog into their family and took great care of him!”

“Tiffany and her husband Malcom took great care of my dog and he seemed to have a great time staying with them. Tiffany is very quick to respond to texts and sent pictures during his stay.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring extra attention and specialized care. Most recently, I cared for my senior dog for many years, managing daily medications, strict feeding schedules, mobility challenges, and health monitoring. This experience taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to recognize when a dog needs extra support or comfort. I provide a safe, loving environment and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your dog needs walks, playtime, cuddles, medication administration, or simply a calm and caring companion while you’re away, I am committed to providing dependable care and regular updates for your peace of mind. I am a hybrid worker who enjoys the company of dogs 💜 Taking them out on walks and dedicating some time in the evening on an activity they enjoy is always a good time. I live in a house with a backyard. I have no kids just 1 small yorkie. I dog sit in my home and have never had any problems with potty breaks, walks, or with rough playing with my yorkie.
“Natalie is phenomenal. She sent us lots of pics and updates and treated our dog so well. He was calm and happy when we picked him up. She also gave us a detailed written account of what they did each day.”

“I cant say enough how wonderful Carrie is! Our neighbors cancelled on keeping an eye on our little guy last minute, and with a quick text, Carrie saved the day and was able to have Oliver come and stay for the day! Oliver, as always, had a wonderful time and Carrie does an amazing job of keeping us updated throughout the day with texts and photos. Shes also great with flexibility with pick up and drop off times (especially considering it was so last minute, yikes!). This is our second experience with Carrie and she will always be our #1 choice!! Thanks Carrie, you're the best! :)”

“We are always Sad and unsure to leave our dog with anyone before. Since she stayed with Darcey, we will not be unsure anymore! Darcey is such a great host that I am sure our dog was more sad to leave Darcy than she was happy to come home. We won’t be booking any other Rover when we need care in the future.”

“Kathy is absolutely wonderful and a joy to work with. It was our Roxie's first time staying with anybody else and she made me very comfortable, sending pictures and communicating instantly with me. Wonderful home and terrific setting. When we picked up Roxie she was happy and seemed to have loved her stay. Kathy and her family couldn't be more perfect for us.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Vista
David watched my dogs for two days. Both dogs have had some reactivity to different dogs/things so I was pretty nervous. David reassured me and was able to guide the dogs through a positive experience and one of them was even able to build new experiences with other dogs. It was such a wonderful experience!!

She took such great care of Lance! Jason & Rachel took excellent care of my senior Siberian Husky while we were out of the country. They held a meet & greet before the booking, were totally great to talk to, kept in touch throughout the booking about Remus's eating and energy level (which can & did vary), and sent pics to reassure us that everything was going well. So happy with the service they provided and look forward to booking w them again!

I'm so grateful to have found Matthew to watch my Lucy! He has been a pleasure to work with and I felt very comfortable leaving my girl with him. He was great from the start making time for a meet and greet before the initial stay to make sure we both felt comfortable. While Lucy was with him, he was great giving updates with photos and that put me at ease allowing me to enjoy my vacation knowing she was safe and well taken care of. Lucy can be easy in many ways and a little high maintenance in others and he was ready for it all. THANK YOU!

May watched Copper at her home and did a great job. She sent regular updates and photos, which we appreciated. Copper got plenty of exercise with lots of walks. He was definitely well cared for. We also felt comfortable knowing she was attentive to his safety. Would definitely use her again and recommend her to others.

Every summer, for the past four years, we have been leaving our dog, Max, under Loree‘s care for 2–3 weeks while we travel. He loves it there so much that, even though there’s a year between visits, he gets so excited in the car, even when we are blocks and blocks away from her house because he recognizes her neighborhood! She and her husband take the best care of Max. She always make sure to send Daley updates in photos. They are so professional and we feel like Max gets his own vacation while we are on ours. He loves the big backyard and playing with all the doggies that come through while he’s there. We’re so grateful that we found Loree!

Avery, David, and Theresa were incredibly welcoming and put all my anxiety at ease. Moxxi is reactive to other animals and even displayed some of that behavior when she heard neighbor's dogs, but Avery seemed unphased and was comfortable with Moxxi. We love the photos that we got of her, especially in their beautiful backyard, and we already look forward to the next time we drop her off at their place. Thank you!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
