“Scooter came home tired from her overnight stay and slept for hours, so we know she had a great time playing with Sarah and the other dogs there. We definitely appreciate the check ins and pictures as well!”

About: For over 11 years, I’ve cared for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities, including French Bulldogs, German Shepherds, Weimaraners, Siberian Huskies, and my current English Labrador. Every dog is unique, and I enjoy understanding what makes each one feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I have experience with basic obedience training, including sit, down, stay, wait, leash walking, puppy training, and kennel/crate training. I believe patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are the best ways to help dogs learn and build confidence. My own dogs are an important part of my family. I feed them a high-quality diet, keep them current on veterinary care and vaccinations, provide daily exercise, and make sure they are well socialized while always putting their safety first. When caring for your dog, I understand they are not my pet, so I always respect your routines, training methods, and instructions. My priorities are safety, regular feeding, exercise, playtime, and making sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I treat every dog with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! 🐾 As a business owner, I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give dogs the time and attention they deserve throughout the day. I’m available for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, exercise, and companionship. I understand that every dog has a different routine, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal schedule to help them feel comfortable and at home. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have a secure front and backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore. There are shaded areas to keep them comfortable on warm days, as well as plenty of space for supervised play and exercise. I carefully introduce dogs to new environments and always monitor their behavior. I follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, medications, exercise, and routines. If your dog is crate-trained or has specific needs, I’m happy to accommodate them. I treat every dog with the same love, patience, and respect that I give my own, while making sure they always feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. * I only accept a limited number of dogs at one time so I can give each one plenty of attention. * I send regular photo and video updates while you’re away. * Fresh water is always available, and dogs are never left outside unsupervised. * I can reinforce basic commands and leash manners during their stay.
“Roy always has so much fun with Vadym, Svitlana and Gregory. He comes back very excited and happy! And when I take him back to their house, he is always excited to see them and be back. They are very communicative sending pictures and telling me that everything is going good when I am on a trip. We Highly recommend!!”

“Chong has watched our two Bois a handful of times now and she's great! Very accommodating and you can tell that she actually cares for the pups very much. They love to run around her big yard and come back tired every time.”

“Carrie has watched my pup a few times and she is always responsive, helpful and caring. My dog loves staying with her and her lovely family. I appreciate the photos she sends throughout the stay 😍🥰”

“Thank you, Amy, for welcoming Benny Bears into your home and making him part of your family during his stay. My fur baby loved spending time with her son. Walks, & hanging out with Amy on the couch. Amy is great with clear communication, sending pictures, and making his stay feel like home. Bent is looking forward to his next stay! If this is your 1st time using Rover, highly recommend using Amy. As a 1st time user, Amy was the best choice for me and Benny Bears. Thank you so much! Blessed I found you! 🙏🐾🐾”

“David is great! This was our first experience with him. For the first time Mila did not jump in my arms when she saw me at pickup. She was perfectly happy with David. Finding someone trustworthy is hard to find. I feel like you could trust him as he also can relate since he has his own dog. Super kind and careful with treating Mila. I truly appreciate how responsive he is. Fantastic all around!! 🙏”

“Lori and her Doggie heaven are the best. I know she really loves and cares for my dog. It gives me great peace of mind to know he is in such good , safe, responsible loving home.”
“Pepper had so much fun. This sitter updated me constantly and sent me pictures throughout the days. My dog had so much fun and felt so comfortable with this sitter. I didn’t have to worry about the safety or wellbeing of my pepper with Gabi. Gabi was super quick to respond to me and asked permission before taking my pepper anywhere. I will absolutely use Gabi again and recommend her to anyone that’s using Rover! This was my first time using rover and this experience really set the tone for the app! Amazing dog sitter!!”

“Nazgul and her son are so kind and caring. She kept us updated throughout our cat’s stay with text messages and pictures of how our cat is doing. Thank you so much Nazgul for taking such a great care of our fur baby.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Winterwarm home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Winterwarm.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Winterwarm sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
