It’s a Dog-on Good Time
I grew up with cats in our family home. Then over 30 years ago I rescued a Dalmatian from the humane society. I fell in love and so did my kids. Later we added a Rottweiler, a Greyhound followed by two pitbull breeds. All of my dogs lived to be seniors enjoying walks, a large backyard, access to being inside or outside of their choosing. I lost the last of my personal pets last summer and I find myself missing the presence of animals in my daily life. Yet have not decided if I my heart is ready for another of my own. So after much thought and discussion with friends I felt like taking care of and loving on other peoples animals when they can’t is a good substitute.

Melissa is so wonderful! She was approachable and flexible! She was attentive and kind and I really think Cody enjoyed being with her!
Melissa was amazing with Kai, our senior pup! She’s so kind and loving. Kai had the best time at her place. Her backyard is also perfect for large breeds. Would definitely come back to her the next time we need a sitter.
Melissa was great with our dog! Our dog ended up on some meds right before her stay and Melissa was on top of it and took good care of her.
We are so thankful for Melissa. We were out of the country for almost a week and didn't stress once, thanks to all the great updates she sent along the way. She took the time with our dog with anxiety from past trauma, we could tell she really cared. Now that we're back, our dogs are happy, relaxed, and totally sleepy from all the fun they had. Look forward to booking her again.

Schedule
I work from home so I will be able to play and give attention to your dog. We have room to play fetch or just lounge in the sun or shade.I believe our pets are part of the family so they should be indoors or out depending on their preference. I am flexible with schedules and can work to accommodate your needs.

I have a large yard that is fenced and secure. I am happy to work within your routine for your dog’s meals, treats and possible medication administering if needed. I definitely take your instruction to heart so habits are continued uninterrupted while a guest with me.
A typical day
I love to play fetch with the doggies that love to play. We take walks in the neighborhood and explore. Most of all lots of love and belly rubs. .
