Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because animals have always been a central part of my life. I’m used to planning my day around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and keeping pets comfortable and engaged. I dedicate time each morning and evening for check-ins, exercise, and companionship, and I’m very consistent with routines—something pets really appreciate. Whether it’s daily visits, longer stays, or drop-ins throughout the week, I’m flexible and committed to making sure every pet gets the attention and care they need.

I care for pets in a way that keeps them comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, feeding schedules, medication, litter or potty routines, favorite toys, and any household rules. I make sure the home stays clean, calm, and secure, and I give pets plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection based on their personality and comfort level. If I’m caring for a pet in my home, I create a cozy, safe environment with designated spaces for rest, play, and quiet time. I monitor them closely, maintain their usual routine, and make sure they get the exercise, interaction, and comfort they need. I currently have a black lab and a cat, if necessary, I can separate them from your pets as well. My goal is always to make pets feel loved and cared for, whether they’re in their own space or mine.

From energetic puppies to senior pets who need a gentler touch, I’ve built years of hands-on experience understanding different personalities, routines, and needs. Such a nice dog sitter, she was able to reschedule our days when we suddenly had a change of plans. We got daily updates on our puppy and pictures/videos included. We had a situation where we the food we took our puppy with ran out, and they fed him some of Midnights food🐕❤️! Even packed a treat and toy of their own, that bubbles fell in love with.
Dara was great! Perfect cozy house and backyard for hazelnut to play. Got all her energy released and got to play with sweet midnight. Her kids and family were great with hazelnut! Sent lots of pictures and I could tell she was made right at home. Would highly recommend her, will book again for sure!
Dara took excellent care of my senior black Lab, Tilly, over Thanksgiving weekend. She sent pics and kept me updated throughout the stay. She also has a sweet black lab who got along great with my dog. Dara also has two kids who were very patient and gentle with Tilly. This was my first time using Rover and I was very happy. I highly recommend Dara!
