About Us: We loveee dogs! To say dogs are our life is an understatement. Between the 49 foster puppies I've had over the last 21 years (my husband and I are very involved in dog rescue), my dog Nolie, and my family pets that I grew up with, I am extremely comfortable handling/training dogs of any age and size. I also pride myself in keeping a clean house. And since they are your baby, I know how important it is to send daily photos and updates of them having a great time. We used to work with Rover all the time and then took a break for a few years, but we are excited to get back to it!

Wonderful and loving time with my border collie, Bella. Nice walk and pet time (both are equally important to her!). Alyssa is attentive, communicates well, sends quick updates. Really great!
Alyssa and Andrew were fantastic. Super flexible and thoughtful, Bandit had a great time and by the second day walked in like he’d been going there for years. It was great to have their support in working through some logistical challenges and I’d use them again in a heartbeat.
Alyssa is very nice and she often updates me on the condition of the dog and sends me photos, which makes me feel very reassured. highly recommend!!!

Schedule
What makes me different: I will adopt the way you work with your dog- Don't feed them after 7? Don't want them to get up on furniture? They need meds administered? They like to sleep in bed with you? I've got it covered :) Not only will I mimic the way that you work with your dog, but I will embrace their quirks (ie- they like their food prepared a certain way, they like to sleep under the covers with you, etc.). The #1 reason I think I'm a great dog sitter is because I will send you tons of pictures and videos of your pup to show you what a great time they are having, because as a dog mommy, that's what I would want! I hate leaving my baby and I know it can be stressful, so my job is to ease that stress for you!

Their visit: Your pup will have free roam of our townhouse and our small fenced yard. My husband and I go on nice long walks 2+ times per day (30-45 minutes in the morning, 20+ minutes at night), and play lots of fetch. We have a wonderful trail near my house that a lot of locals bring their dogs to as well. I treat your dog like my own, and trust me, my girl is spoiled rotten with love and attention!

A typical day
I love walking in the California sunshine, so your pup will join Nolie and I for our morning walk, where they can sniff all the other smells around the neighborhood. If they love other dogs, we may go to the dog park, or hiking. If they like to stay home and snuggle, we are happy to do that too. If they enjoy going into public, we may go to a coffee shop and meet new friends/get pets. Then we will head back and play with our plethora of fun toys. I'll probably work or paint while your pup naps, and then after work we will go on a sunset walk and then come home for more playtime. we will end the night with them sleeping in our room, in our bed or on theirs! It will be a fun, relaxing visit.

- Let me know if your dog has any specific needs and I will be happy to cater to them. We've also fostered 35 puppies over the last 17 years, so if your pup needs a lot of extra attention, we'll know exactly what to do. We've had very young pups, pups with 3 legs, and all kinds of differences
