About: I have owned many types of pets over the years but dogs have a special place in my heart. Most recently I’ve been the proud parent of 2 American Eskimos, Biscuit and Faji Yuki-Ko. I have raised squirrels, tad poles to frogs, hamsters, fish, and cats. My love for animals is endless. I recently spent 11 years working in a pet salon and the last half working as a bather/groomer. I’ve worked with all breeds of dogs. I have a true heart for senior and young animals and am great with giving medication. I’m also a darn good dog bather. I know how to do nails and scale my own dogs teeth. I am home on the weekends and have a lovely fenced yard. During the week I come home for 1 hour for lunch and to let Biscuit out. He likes to watch the doggy channels on YouTube while I’m at work. When Biscuit is outside, so am I. I walk a bit each day and would never miss out on the opportunity to take a dog for a walk. Biscuit is now 15 years young and his walks are short. He loves everyone. I hope to enjoy many walks and pet sitting opportunities with Wag. Animals are truly a blessing! I come home at lunch and only work till noon on Fridays. I am home on the weekends and spend most of the time in my yard. When pups are outside I stay with them. I am always respectful of other people’s property. In my home I make myself available for potty breaks and feedings and playing. I provide toys and am happy to throw a ball. Need a good brush down? I am happy to do a brush down. I spent 11 years working in a dog groomer salon and bathed dogs for 6+ years. I am good at giving meds to dogs. I’m very patient and never raise my voice. I use owner directed commands to be consistent with training. Bottom line….i truly love animals and really enjoy spending time with them,
“We’ve relied on Kris as our trusted dog sitter for a few stays now, and she never disappoints. She and her family treat Oakley like one of their own, and he’s always so excited to visit and play fetch with them. We have total peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring hands. Highly recommend!”

“Kristina and Sean were great with our energetic pup, Barley! Barley was able to fit right into their daily walks and runs since they were already an active family. They also provided daily updates and pictures of their activities and were very responsive throughout the boarding.”

“Jennifer took great care of my dog Javier while I was gone for the weekend. She sent me several updates and photos to let me know how it was going, she also took him on many walks and to the dog park in her community! Javi looked so happy and safe! I will definitely be utilizing Jennifer again for the next time that I do a weekend trip!! Pick up and drop off was smooth and easy! And Javi got to meet Jennifer first at a park and we went for a short walk!”

“Lisa and Jeff were amazing!! They took such good care of my babies (Abby and Tucker) I was an ease the entire time. Updates all day with photos and activitie updates and Lisa send a beautiful video of her playing the piano to my little ones (and they absolutely loved it!) will definitely book another sitting in the future! 💙🐾💕 - Abby and Tucker were so happy when I picked them up I could see how comfortable they were with Lisa and Jeff!”

She is usually nervous and stressed when boarding, but was happy and not anxious at all when arriving home. She went easily back to her normal routines. We are very happy with the special care provided to her and will absolutely use their services again! Thank you!”

About: Me and my fiancé are both former dog owners. No kids (yet). No other pets. We would love a dog but waiting to see if we have our own kids first. We are super active, I take 5 mile walks everyday, so would be happy to do lots of walks. We are 5 minutes from the beach. I love dog cuddles and am ok w them on the couch with a dog blanket. We have a fenced in concrete patio w a gate to an unfenced yard. Large grassy areas, walking paths, lagoon walks all right outside our town house. Prefer potty trained dogs only please, but I wfh and can take them out regularly. I wfh, run my own business, make my own schedule so I have tons of flexibility. I also am an avid daily walker and v affectionate dog person. My life right now is actually ideal for a dog, but me and my fiancé want to wait until after our wedding before we consider getting one of our own. I would say very high level of care! I had a pitbull / lab for 12 yrs. He was 70 pounds and needed a lot of exercise and cuddles! I’m a very loving dog person. I believe care is not just food, water and walks, but affection & attention are as important. I’m doing this to satiate my desire for a pet, without the full commitment (just yet).

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life—growing up with both cats and dogs taught me early how to care for pets with love and patience. Over the years, I’ve been the go-to sitter for my friends whenever they go out of town, whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or just making sure their pets feel comfortable and cared for. I understand that every pet has its own personality and needs, and I always do my best to match their energy and routines. Whether your furry friend is energetic and playful or more laid-back and shy, I’ve got them covered! I stay attentive during walks and in the home to keep your pet safe at all times. You can expect clear communication and regular updates, so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands.

“Emily was a very attentive and responsive cat sitter, especially considering our request was very last minute. She really went the extra mile checking to make sure her automatic litter box cleaner was functioning correctly and when she noticed it wasn’t working with me to help troubleshoot it. Would recommend anyone looking for reliable pet care!”
About: I started dog walking and pet sitting 5 years ago. Desiring a dog of my own, my private yoga and Pilates clients started saying "watch mine!" and quickly I became booked for dog sitting most weekends and almost all summer. I grew up with horses and three dogs so I am very comfortable around animals of all kinds. A former Division I volleyball player, I'm active and love taking a daily walk or two listening to a podcast, so I might as well bring a dog along! I'm single and do not have children so my schedule is flexible. I do work in person in an office in Cardiff but am able to care for dogs before work, at lunch, and after work. My weekends are free. I do not care for pets in my own home but am happy to care for them in their own homes whether it is coming over for a visit or walk or dogsitting/catsitting and staying the night.
“Kimberly stayed at our house with our cat for 5 days and was AMAZING! Very responsive, we got tons of pictures, and our cat loved her so much that she has been sleeping in the guest bedroom where Kimberly stayed instead of her usual spots, haha. Will definitely have Kimberly cat sit again for us. Thank you, Kimberly!”

“Jasmine is an all star! Our pup Tiki loved getting a visit from her! We had some technical difficulties with our door’s keypad but Jasmine was patient while we tried to fix and figured out a way to get in to care for our pup”

“Lan took very good care of Peanut. Last minute I had to change my reservation to assist my friend with her dog and Lan accommodated the situation with no hesitancy. Peanut was a happy camper and the photo helped to ease my concerns of him being in an unfamiliar place. Thank you so much for your care and accomodations.”

About: Hello! My husband and I are remote workers and lifelong dog lovers. We have a three-year-old Australian Shepherd–Poodle mix who we adore and truly treat like family. She is well behaved, loves meeting new people, and thrives on playing with other dogs. She’s also very active—my husband and I take her on walks and runs at least twice a day. We understand that your dog is a cherished member of your family, and we will care for them as if they were part of ours. We are highly responsive and happy to provide daily updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. We’re attentive to each dog’s individual needs and make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well loved. Our experience includes raising a puppy, administering medication, brushing teeth, bathing and grooming, and caring for senior dogs. You can rest assured that when your dog stays with us, they will be in caring and capable hands. I work from home 5 days a week and can take your dog out multiple times a day for potty beaks and walks. We understand that your dog might have a set schedule and look forward to learning about how we can best accommodate. While we have an unfenced yard, we take our own dog out multiple times a day for walks and potty breaks and can do the same for your pup. We have a three year old Australian Shepherd Poodle mix who is a sweet girl and who can keep your pup company. If you prefer to keep your dog in a crate during certain hours of the day, we can make sure to maintain this routine. We look forward to hearing how we can best care for your pup’s needs.
About: Hi, I’m McKenna! I’ve grown up around all kinds of animals and have had dogs my entire life, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of mine. I’m also very much a cat person! I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and at home. I’m very active and would love to take your dog to the beach, out on a trail, or for a long walk, but I’m just as happy spending the day with a couch potato who would rather lounge in the sun. I’m flexible and happy to follow whatever routine and pace works best for your pet. I also have extensive experience caring for senior dogs and am comfortable with the extra patience and attention they often require, including medications, mobility limitations, frequent breaks, and established routines. I’m dependable, attentive, and communicative, and I take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pet seriously. I’d love to build consistent, long-term relationships with pet parents and become someone you can trust to care for your animals again and again. Whether your pet needs an active companion, a calm presence, or simply someone who will stick to their routine and give them plenty of love, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. My schedule is able to be super flexible on a weekly basis so I’m able to work with your needs! Please let me know exactly what you’re looking for and I can try to accommodate! I have a secure, ground-floor one-bedroom unit with a fully fenced patio that connects directly to the living space, giving pets the freedom to move between indoors and outside while still having a safe, contained area to relax. I’m also located near Beacons Beach, so for dogs who enjoy getting out and about, I’d love to take them for a run, walk, or swim in the ocean. I also have access to a larger home that I can utilize depending on the needs and comfort level of each pet. I’m happy to tailor the environment and routine to what works best for your dog or cat, whether they prefer a little more space and activity or a quiet, comfortable place to settle in. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re with me.
About: As a certified Holistic Health Practitioner I look at animal care from all aspects. I make sure they get good nutrition, exercise and interaction with other dogs. I am okay with senior dogs' needs, like diapers or special soft food or medication or even hand feeding. There are no cancer causing pesticides being used around our home and only bio-degradable non-toxic cleaners. For me dogs are supporting and protecting us on our journeys physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. I also offer canine massage. My husband and I are working from home and our daughter (19) is currently taking online classes. All of us love animals very much and enjoy being around them... We have a fully fenced yard (6 ft) and 2 little dogs ( one senior and one puppy) to keep your dog company. We have balls and toys to play with and your dog is welcome to share the dog beds and our couch with everybody. Our porch door is open all day which makes potty training easy and gives your dog plenty of outdoor time. We usually take everybody for a nice sunset walk and can add a nice beach walk to the day. We do not use any pesticides or harsh chemicals and there are no toxic/ poisonous plants in our yard/home.
“Julie was fantastic! Rossi was so excited to go over there for a few days of daycare. Rossi loved her and looked happy, she was super nice and responsive and took great care of him”

“Jonathan and Anna were awesome! Took our pup’s energy out and were super flexible when we were late past the scheduled pick up time. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to have our dog stay with them again!”

About: Most walkers provide walks and love. While that works for a lot of dogs, high energy dogs like mine need exercise, discipline and leadership. If your dog needs this kind of care, I’m your guy! Outdoor intense play and no worried about difficult dogs! Two long sessions of walk + play. Love training dogs and dealing with their energy. There’s time for love and cuddles too, but the priority is exercise and activities We live in a townhouse with a big terrace for dogs to chill and play, always supervised. But usually they just want to rest when they get home from our training, walking and playing sessions. Fun!
“We are from Denver and booked Liz to watch our golden retriever while we went to hike Hanging Lake. Liz was SO great. She was super responsive and really prompt. We dropped off our pup early and she was waiting outside to get her and brought her out for us when we got back. It truly couldn't have been easier. It was clear that she took great care of our girl. I highly recommend her for locals or traveling hikers!”

About: Farm raised girl with snow white syndrome. I was a house and pet sitter for 2 vets in the San Francisco area, and I've recently relocated back home to San Diego. I specifically love sitting because it allows accept gig work in computer science. My only animal currently is a special needs geriatric cat that I've adopted, and she has her own room separate from visiting animals. As a former chef with holistic health background, I am capable of providing custom specialty diets for additional fees. I am happy to engage with pets in active training, mental play, and running. I am comfortable with infant animals and special needs animals. Anything I haven't seen before on special needs, I am happy to learn. Absolutely obsessed with brachycephalic dogs (where are my bullies at?!), and working dogs that often don't receive enough stimulation in their lifestyle (cattle dogs, I'm looking at you!). Geriatric cats and dogs are my soft spot. I currently work weekends only while changing my career industry, so I have M-F free! I am able to include runs in sitting care, but they need to be scheduled during temperate morning and evening times (this is for your dog's comfort as well.) I have a fenced yard and a medium-sized standard home crate. I am happy to sit at others homes- if the location is not close enough for morning/evening stops or requires a companion overnight, I request a cleaned area for my floor mat as I do not use western beds. This means houses with active pest issues such as cockroaches or spiders that may pose a health risk to me sleeping on the floor (if overnight required) will be rejected on site and any dispute will be referred to arbitration via Rover.
“Jasmine took amazing care of my dog Buddy while we were away. She watched him one-on-one, which gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing he was getting her full attention. She was super attentive, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure he was comfortable and happy. Buddy came back relaxed and well taken care of, and I could tell he had a great experience. I would absolutely book Jasmine again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“Jane took care of our Dude while we were enjoying some local haunts. There was an added benefit of his being able to interact with some new dogs! We would definitely book Dude with Jane again in the future!”

“Ari was so wonderful from start to finish! I was in a pinch, needed a babysitter last minute and Ari was immediately responsive and very flexible with my dog Rex’s needs and background. Ari was super communicative throughout the day, sent pictures and updates frequently. Ari was also very patient with Rex, which I appreciate because he could be wary of new people. He ended up having a really good and easy day in Ari’s care! This is my first time using the Rover app to find a babysitter for Rex and I would recommend Ari to anyone!”

“Katie was a dream to work with and our pup had a fantastic time hanging out with Katie and other furry friends! It’s so nice when someone is comfortable handling multiple pets, because the pets have such a great time together. About: Hi! I have my own 2 yr old dog Ozzy. So i know what it is like to leave your pet while out of town! Communication, and following your detailed instructions are very important. Tell me what your pet loves. I work remote so I am very flexible when checking in. I make my own schedule most of the time which will allow me to check in on your pet at anytime. I make sure to take my own pup on walks early AM. But happy to adjust to your pets needs I live near dog parks, i walk 10,000 steps a day, and my pup is very friendly. About: While I didn't grow up with a dog of my own, I have spent years intentionally seeking out opportunities to care for them. I approach pet care with strict attention to detail and follow every owner's routine to a T. I always volunteer to take care of my friend’s dogs because I can provide focused, one on one attention. I love dogs and so you can definitely expect your dog to be well taken care of!
About: Dog-mom to Kiki, a rescue with a storied past. Think your dog is reactive? Bad on a leash? I have lived it and conquered it! I just love hanging out with animals and treat them like they are my own. They are a part of the family. I'm an active volunteer with the County of San Diego Animal Care Services and Rancho Coastal Humane Society. Worked with hundreds+ of animals over the years, and would love to meet yours! I have a full-time job, but have flexibility in my schedule. I will do my best to make requests work, but I will also not accept requests for which I'm not available. Unfortunately, I cannot care for pets in my house. I have a rescue dog with ... issues. I'm fortunate to be able to provide her an environment in which she can be safe and happy-- most could not.
“Lauren was amazing! She was able to accommodate my last minute booking. She was very thorough in preparing for my dog’s walk and was very communicative throughout the whole process. I would definitely book with her in the future!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life — I grew up with three dogs, three cats, plus bunnies and birds. Caring for them taught me how to truly understand different personalities and needs, from playful pups to shy rescue cats. These days, I love extending that care by watching my friends’ and family’s pets whenever they need someone they can trust. Whether it’s long walks, cuddle time, or just keeping their routines steady so they feel safe and happy, I’m dedicated to treating your pets like they’re my own. I know how much they mean to you — and it’s my goal to give you total peace of mind while you’re away. I’m currently working part time so I’ll have plenty of time to be available to play and watch your fun furry friends anytime needed :) In my home or yours, I focus on making sure your pets feel comfortable, secure, and loved — just like they would with you. I stick closely to their usual routines with feeding, walks, and playtime, so there’s as little stress or disruption as possible. I take time to really get to know each pet’s personality and what makes them feel happy and safe — whether that’s extra snuggles, quiet companionship, or active play. I keep a close eye on their behavior and health, and I always send updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

“Crista was awesome! She took our puppy and my parents dog for an extended walk, sending great pictures of them mid-adventure. It’s not easy to walk the two of them, but she did great. Would absolutely book again!”

About: Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile, here’s a little about me. My family has had at least 1 dog and 1 cat in the house since I was 8 years old. My family currently has 2 dogs (yellow lab and black wire-haired dachshund), and 1 cat (Siberian). I used to be an equestrian, have watched many different animals (including guinea pigs), I’ve volunteered at dogs shelters, and recently cared for a 2 month old puppy. As you can expect, I am very comfortable with animals and attuned to their unpredictability and unique needs (potty training and feeding schedules, gentle socializing, chew-proofing the house, reading their moods and managing the energy of multiple animals at once. I’m a very sensitive person, so being around cats and dogs especially brings me joy and peace! They definitely sense that because whenever I visit my parents all my pets follow me around like tails! If I didn’t travel often, I would get a pet of my own. On a more personal note, I love being outdoors and finding any green space possible (especially in NYC), so your dogs will enjoy walks with me! I’m very attentive to garbage eating/smelling/stepping on walks, especially in NYC, so your dog will be safe with me! I’m currently working part-time with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to watch your pet! I am based on Long Island but can easily come into the city for longer care. I’m in the New York area until July 15 and in NYC between 2-8 July, if you need someone to watch your dog over the 4th July weekend while you’re away! If boarding on Long Island, we have an unfenced yard and beach access, perfect if your dog likes swimming. Bonus is my 2 family dogs, so yours won’t be lonely!
“Tracy was great with our dog. She sent me photos and a short summary after every walk so I knew Dora was doing well. I will definitely work with Tracy again in the future! Recommend!”

About: I've owned multiple breeds of dogs from overly energetic Jack Russels, to water-loving Huskies, to lap cuddling Maltese. I am excellent with dogs and would love to spend time with your fur baby. My specialty is tiring out active medium to large breed dogs, however I'm happy to tone it down to a stroll for your elderly or pocket-sized pup. Positive affirmations and personalized attention are a given as well! I am also a big gardener and am able to water and maintain your garden/indoor plants while you’re away as well. I have experience with caring for disabled dogs and for managing aggressive behaviors in dogs as well. I have full open availability for walks, dog park play sessions, hikes, beach outings and overnight stays. My dog can tag along or stay home depending on your preferences. I will treat your dog with as much care and love as I do my own girl, Chloe. It is a scary and daunting process to find and trust a pet sitter which I understand first-hand. I can assure you I am obsessed with dogs and would be honored to spend time with your fur babies.

About: I have pet sit both at other houses and my own. Both walk ins and over night stays. Very responsive and responsible pet owner who is willing to care for your pet as their own! I work a few part time jobs and also work from home, so I love to be home and am home as often as possible. Can give good care and attention if needed. I have a fenced in yard for any animals that need outdoor time. I can also keep doors closed if necessary as well. All depends on your preferences.
“This was my first experience with Rover and Diana was fabulous. My little one is a nervous Nellie and Diana (and her dog, Buddy) were the perfect fit. I was gone 2 and a half weeks and she took exceptional care of Exie. Diana was very good about all the little doggie details: walking schedule, food. She is very kind, calm and caring. Could not recommend her more highly.”
“Evan was great! Our normal dog sitter cancelled right before our planned trip. In a frenzy, I came across the Rover app and gave it a try! Evan accepted our booking request even though we were booking at the very last minute! By last minute, I mean we dropped our dog, Jack, off at his house within 1/2 hour of booking! Evan and his family were very kind and our dog got on well with the other two dogs in the house. We received pictures and updates throughout the stay which made us feel better about leaving our pup with someone we didn’t know. I would book with Evan again!”

“Michael is experienced, great with dogs and very dependable. We appreciated the pics he sent and the social environment he provided for our dog! We are thankful to him for the great care he took of our pup while we were away!”

“I have never seen my dog happier after a stay at a stranger's house. My dog is grinning ear to ear because Jane was fabulous. She understands dogs well and made my dog feel incredibly comfortable.”

“Liz was great to my puppy Samoa!! She was so sweet, sent me tons of pictures each day she was with her, took my dog to the park multiple times throughout her stay, took her to the lake & even got her to swim a little-- needless to say, my dog had a great time and was never stuck inside. Rebooking with Liz the next time I go out of town and need a sitter she's the best & I would totally recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Lauren is the absolute best! She made us feel so comfortable while we left our puppy for the first time! She sent us tons of photos and videos of our puppy on beach walks, playing with other dogs, getting cuddles. Cannot recommend her enough :)”
