About: As a certified Holistic Health Practitioner I look at animal care from all aspects. I make sure they get good nutrition, exercise and interaction with other dogs. I am okay with senior dogs' needs, like diapers or special soft food or medication or even hand feeding. There are no cancer causing pesticides being used around our home and only bio-degradable non-toxic cleaners. For me dogs are supporting and protecting us on our journeys physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. I also offer canine massage. My husband and I are working from home and our daughter (19) is currently taking online classes. All of us love animals very much and enjoy being around them... We have a fully fenced yard (6 ft) and 2 little dogs ( one senior and one puppy) to keep your dog company. We have balls and toys to play with and your dog is welcome to share the dog beds and our couch with everybody. Our porch door is open all day which makes potty training easy and gives your dog plenty of outdoor time. We usually take everybody for a nice sunset walk and can add a nice beach walk to the day. We do not use any pesticides or harsh chemicals and there are no toxic/ poisonous plants in our yard/home.

About: I've taken care of dogs as long as I can remember. I've taken care of all types, from Great Danes to chihuahuas. I like big dogs the best but will never say no to the small ones. I am currently working part time and in college, I will have plenty of time to give your dog the attention and love they need. I have a fenced yard with a large patio, grass area. We have one very sweet dog, he's getting up there in age but loves to play with puppies and gets along great with other dogs.

About: Your furry family will be in very experienced and caring hands at our home which includes a five foot high fence on a half acre lot. We have been volunteer foster parents for Lab Rescue for several years so have lots of experience caring for various dogs and dog ages. We often care for our friends’ pets so could provide additional references upon request. Our kids are both at college so we are joining Rover to help pay for their college expenses. I have full open availability for walks, dog park play sessions, hikes, beach outings and overnight stays. My dog can tag along or stay home depending on your preferences. I will treat your dog with as much care and love as I do my own girl, Chloe. It is a scary and daunting process to find and trust a pet sitter which I understand first-hand. I can assure you I am obsessed with dogs and would be honored to spend time with your fur babies.
About: As a certified Holistic Health Practitioner I look at animal care from all aspects. I make sure they get good nutrition, exercise and interaction with other dogs. I am okay with senior dogs' needs, like diapers or special soft food or medication or even hand feeding. There are no cancer causing pesticides being used around our home and only bio-degradable non-toxic cleaners. For me dogs are supporting and protecting us on our journeys physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. I also offer canine massage. My husband and I are working from home and our daughter (19) is currently taking online classes. All of us love animals very much and enjoy being around them... We have a fully fenced yard (6 ft) and 2 little dogs ( one senior and one puppy) to keep your dog company. We have balls and toys to play with and your dog is welcome to share the dog beds and our couch with everybody. Our porch door is open all day which makes potty training easy and gives your dog plenty of outdoor time. We usually take everybody for a nice sunset walk and can add a nice beach walk to the day. We do not use any pesticides or harsh chemicals and there are no toxic/ poisonous plants in our yard/home.
About: We have both lived with and taken care of dogs our entire lives, including our 4 year old rescue, Zuko. We have experience with all things pet care including walking, feeding, bathing, administering medication, and (most importantly) playing. All breeds and ages are welcome into our home. We treat our dog like royalty, and can ensure yours will be too. Sebastien works from home full time and Olivia is a graduate physical therapy student. Between the two of us, your pup will have constant attention and care as needed. Our flexible schedule allows for lots of potty breaks and playtime. We live on the second floor of our building, requiring one flight of stairs for your pup to walk up. Please keep this in mind if your dog is unable to get up safely and/or cannot be easily carried up. Our sincerest apologies.
About: I have worked in a number of rescue facilities as well as loved 2 rescue dogs and a number of rescue cats myself. I am also currently an online teacher so I am available for whatever hours needed throughout days or evenings. My schedule is super adaptable for your needs and I am very communicative throughout the entire experience. I currently work online so I can be anywhere at any time for meeting pet care needs. I am hoping to fill my schedule and help out as much as possible. I offer in client's home care for pets by scheduling one day prior typically and arriving early to get set up or shown the routines. Care will vary based on what client's specific needs are, but I like to communicate, and operate above and beyond what client's expectations are. I know how I would want my furry kiddos treated so I won't treat yours with any less love or care.

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 5. I grew up with Goldens, German Shephards and Labs mostly. I had a pug of my own as well as a black lab. I have 4 siblings and they all have 1-2 dogs and we all laugh that we treat them like humans ie: sometimes they eat better than us! (wink wink). More recently, I lived in a place that wouldn't allow dogs so I would get my dog fix going on my daily walks especially in Encinitas where they are everywhere. But I thought getting into dog sitting/walking would allow me to be around them even more. They are good for the soul. I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. So I can be available for last minute things that may come up and I'm am able to be at the house/do walks often if needed. I walk about 2 hours a day as it is so it would be in even better addition to my routine to have a dog with me! I am unable to have pets in my home at the moment although that is going to change in the next few months. As far as coming to your home, I am very respectful, reliable and will treat your dog like it's my own.

“Tara and her family were great with my dog, Lady. We were in a bind and made reservations with Tara with very short notice. Tara and her family were very accomodating and were very excited to spend time with my dog. We made arrangements for me to drop off Lady at her home, and I was very nervous since I had never used DogVacay before. When we got to the house, Tara met us outside and gave Lady a chance to get comfortable with her. Slowly she brought Lady into the house and Tara's two youngest kids were there to greet Lady. They were so excited to have her there. Tara sent me pictures of Lady on walks, but the ones I enjoyed the most were the pictures Tara sent me with Lady being loved on by her children. Those pictures really put me at ease knowing that Lady was being loved. Tara also sent little messages with the pictures just to let me know how Lady was doing.
