I’ve been actively pet sitting for about 4 years now! My boss always says hire for the character and everything else can be trained. I take that to heart as I am a hardworking and responsible person. I know it can be difficult to find people who you can trust, but I can be that person. I absolutely adore animals and without any pets of my own, I will treat you pet like royalty. I’m an engineer, a gymnastics coach, and a pet sitter. I’ve been pet sitting for my coworkers for the last few years and will always make time for your pet. I have a small fenced in back patio that is perfect for potty breaks and fetch. I do live in a studio apartment but can keep my back door open for easy access to the back area!

Jen was fantastic! We will absolutely be using her again in the future. She gave our sick dog medicine and love while we were away.
Jen was fantastic! She was more than happy to do an initial meet and greet/walk and our pup warmed right up to her. She did not shy away from his quirky ways and in fact found humor in it. She was extremely responsive, easy to communicate with, and frequently provided updates and photos/videos! She left our home spotless and was so kind to bring our trash cans in during the house-sit. I can tell that our dog loved his time with her and we will definitely reach out to her for future sits!

Schedule
I work remotely so I am around to keep your pets company. Animals are usually better coworkers than people! I will always ask how long your pet can be left home alone and will adjust my schedule accordingly.

Safety, trust & environment
I let your pet warm up to me. I am incredibly patient with timid pets and find it very rewarding to gain their trust. I have a fenced in gravel yard and do not leave them unattended outside.
A typical day
We will walk along North coast highway if they are staying with me and stop at all of the good treat spots! I take your pets lead for other activities they enjoy whether it is fetch, snuggling, or just head scratches.
