Comfy care in a dog loving home!
As someone that calls my dog "my daughter" - I know how important it is that your dogs are happy and safe while you're away! I have always been a huge animal lover and grew up with dogs (among other animals such as hedgehogs and turtles...) I live in a townhome in Encinitas with my boyfriend and mom, who are both also major dog lovers. As I am currently getting my masters degree online, I will be the person with them all day taking care of them! I have one dog named Fudge- a 10 year old medium sized cavalier/ bernese mountain dog rescue. She is mellow and usually keeps to herself. She is fine with sitting on the couch all day or going on long hikes or spending the day at the dog beach, so we are used to all kinds of activity levels from dogs. I have experience with dogs of all ages- puppies to seniors. I will treat your pup like my own and provide customized care to make sure they feel spoiled and loved during their stay.

Maddie is an absolute joy to work with. Our tabby, Winnie (3 years old), adores her, and it’s clear she’s been thoroughly spoiled every time we return from a trip. I couldn’t recommend Maddie more highly.
Madelyn is an absolutely wonderful dog sitter! She is reliable, communicative, and incredibly trustworthy. I always feel completely at ease knowing my dog is in her care. She goes above and beyond to make sure my dog is happy, comfortable, and well taken care of, and she keeps me updated throughout her visits. Madelyn is responsible, attentive, and genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pets!
We couldn’t have been happier with the care our Tori boy received from Maddie. She treated our boy like he was one of her own dog. We had constant updates and photos. From the moment we left for our vacation she made us feel comfortable that he was in her care because of the updates. Maddie made us feel good about leaving Tori and that he was receiving excellent care and he was happy. Thank you for going beyond and giving him so much love and care. I highly recommend Maddie as a caregiver for your pet. She treats your baby like they are apart of her family.

I am working on getting my masters degree in behavioral analysis online and not currently working a job so I will be home with the dogs all day.

I have a fenced in yard and also commit to walking my dog daily. I can bring the dogs on many adventures such as hikes, parks, dog beach, etc if the family desires or feels comfortable with that.
Pets
A typical day
On hot days I usually walk my dog in the morning and evening to stay out of the heat. There is a park across the street that my dog likes to frequent, and a very large fenced park around the corner that is perfect for both off leash and on leash walking. On weekends my boyfriend and I love to go on adventures with the dog such as the beach, a hike, a trail, etc. As I do not have a demanding schedule, I am extremely flexible and can make any dogs routine work with us!
