“Caroline was great for checking in on my babies while I was away! She sent photos every time and my shy cats really enjoyed playing with her. Definitely recommend!”

“Veronica was amazing! She took great care of my 2 fur pups and my guinea pig baby! My dogs warmed up to her quickly and they were best friends in no time! I will definitely use her to take care of them again in the future.”

“Annie was amazing with my nervous dog. She took time to really let him warm up to her, and was so accommodating with what he needed to feel safe. We will definitely have Annie drop in on Chaps again!”

“Madex was very nice with my cat Maverick. She was very communicative throughout our trip and sent plenty of photos. She gave me peace of mind. I'll definitely book Madex again when I need a cat sitter.”

“Theodore takes such great care of my pup! I can always trust she will be cared for and have a good time when he comes to walk her. The pics I get are top tier, and my pup is always content and well behaved when I get home. Previous sitters have had trouble getting her to focus and go potty, but I know I can always trust Theodore to ensure all her needs are met and good behavior/leash manners are being followed. Definitely recommend booking their services!!”
“Kirsten always takes the best care of my two kitties! She knows them well and always goes above and beyond expectations—she spends extra time playing with and loving on the kitties. I find my kitties happy and healthy every time she cares for them. ¨̮”

“Diego cared for our 13 year old cat for about 10 days while we were out of the country, the longest we'd ever been away from him. Typically, even when we leave him for a long weekend, he's incredibly clingy and vocal when we return for hours if not days. Upon returning from this trip, we saw the difference immediately. He was so calm and happy and that was obviously different. Diego stopped by daily for about 30 minutes, scooping his litter box (providing before and after pictures), giving him wet food, refilling his water, and lots of pets. He sent about 25-30 pictures every day which really made my day getting the updates. He also included any special info like if he found hairballs, etc. He even left a little gift (toy) for him after the last visit. It can be a little stressful leaving your furry one at home for a long trip, but Diego made us feel so at ease with his daily check ins. 10/10⭐ and will absolutely use his services when we travel in the future! Thank you, Diego!”

“Monica was great dropping in to visit my two cats! Very communicative, easy going and made me feel comfortable my cats were in great hands. One of our cats is older and has some issues, and Monica went above and beyond by doing some extra things around the house to make sure we came home to a clean environment.”

“Mais is absolutely fantastic! This was my first time using Rover and leaving my kittens. Mais gave me so much peace of mind - she was attentive, reliable, communicative, and trustworthy. It was everything I would hope for in an outstanding cat sitter and then some! I would HIGHLY recommend Mais and will absolutely be using her for any future cat sitting needs.”

“Madison checked-in on our 4 mos old puppy, Remy, when we went to dinner. She was a great communicator and we felt confident our pup was in good hands. Remy was a happy boy when we came back!”

About: I’ve been watching my neighbors’ animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and love them dearly and I currently have two cats of my own! Animals are my safe space and I love spoiling them! I currently have two cats, so I obviously give them love and take care of them everyday! I am in school, but do it all online so I am very flexible with my schedule and availability for your pets! I’ll always make sure your animal is comfortable with the way I am interacting with them and never push their limits. For cats - if they aren’t keen on humans, I won’t bother them. If they love attention and to play, I’ll be waving a little wand around immediately to get some of their energy out and giving them lots of love. For dogs - I will make sure they are comfortable and walked, and have gone out enough. I can take them to parks and play, or keep them separate from other animals depending on their personality!
“Chris did a great job taking care of my two cats. He played with my kitten tons! My place was in good shape on my return home. Looking forward to having Chris as a sitter again.”

“Ashley is fantastic! She looked after my two senior cats while I was on vacation. They warmed up to her right away. She sent pictures daily and followed their special care needs. I will definitely use her again next time!”

“Vera was absolutely amazing with my cats and fish. She sent photos and updated which helped me relax on my vacation. She laid close attention to all the food, water, and litter boxes. I will definitely use Vera again.”

“This was my first time leaving my pup for a trip with someone that wasn’t family and Heather did an outstanding job! Changing her schedule to fit the routine my dog was used to and even her picky eating habits! I would highly recommend her and will absolutely be hiring her again!”

“My cat Rita is very shy and generally hates meeting new people. However, she loved Denise and opened up to her instantly. Denise was attentive, caring, and always made sure Rita got the attention and love she needed while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Denise to anyone who wants their pet to be well taken care of!”

“Holly was great! She is a lovely human and showed up on time every day to check in on my 21 year-old cat! It was really a mental comfort to know that my little buddy was taken care of while I was away. Lots of good communication, pictures every day, and Mocha appreciated the visits!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Denver
Ashley is my go-to now and I’m so grateful to have her! She always makes a point to spend quality, engaging time with my kitties and it is so appreciated. They absolutely love her and I can tell they are completely comfortable with her. It’s so reassuring for me to have her watching them while I’m away!

Andrea is great! We have time and time again needed her help with our cats when we’re out of town. She is really good at following directions and dealing with their particularities (example - our cats love drinking out of cups of water, without fail she fills those all the time despite them also having fountains). She sends pics and great updates on what the cats are up to, plus keeps the cats spaces tidy so they don’t have to eat around a bunch of spilled food & have clean litter boxes and areas. we always feel at ease when Andrea is watching them!

Erika is AMAZING with our cat! She took great care of him (and our home), probably better than we do hah! She looked for ways to keep him entertained and whether it was toys, play, or scritches and gave us detailed summaries. I will absolutely rebook with Erika and continue to trust in her experience and judgement for a tranquil/secure sitter experience!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Denver. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
