About: Mostly all my experience is caring my pets, and friends/family. I am very in tune with my pets and other pets, sensing friendly or unfriendly pets. I'm currently retired and seeking to add 3-4 dog walking sessions per week. I will be available late mornings 10-1pm and late afternoons 4-7pm, Monday - Friday. I currently walk my 8 year old pet, several times daily, leashed around my neighborhood. He is friendly, yet cautious with other dogs. I am respectful with other dog walkers and dogs.
About: I am able to care for both dogs and cats, and I have ample experience with both. I have a cat of my own, and I have experience with dogs from growing up with a dog (small breed) and from living with our current family dog (mid sized breed). I have been entrusted by neighbors and family friends in the past to pet sit their dogs while out of town, including responsibilities such as feeding, watering, walking, and providing lots of love. I also have experience pet sitting cats for a friend, in which I was relied on for feeding, watering, playing, and of course sending pictures to "mom" who was missing her babies. This Summer I will be working part-time, so I will have ample availability to take on dog/cat walking or sitting roles. I prefer walking dogs with harnesses, rather than collars, for added security, especially if they are the type to pull against the leash. I also prefer walking on quiet roads or greenways for the safety of both myself and your pup. I am happy to walk throughout your neighborhood or drive to a nearby location if needed. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your pet. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s normal routine, whether that means long walks and lots of playtime or a slower pace and plenty of cuddles. I’m a lifelong animal lover and will treat your pet with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own. As a teacher, I have a consistent schedule and typically work from 7 AM–3 PM. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine—I take my own dog for a walk before work and again when I get home, with plenty of playtime and attention in the evenings. I also have a backyard for extra outdoor time throughout the afternoon and evening. On weekends, my schedule is much more flexible, so there’s lots of time for walks, adventures, playtime, and cuddles! I want every pet to feel comfortable and cared for, so I’m happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. In my home, pets will get regular walks, plenty of attention and playtime, and access to my fenced backyard for extra outdoor time. I also have a friendly dog of my own who loves having company! When caring for pets in their own home, I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and any other routines that help your pet feel happy and secure. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong pet lover - I'm 35 and have been a proud “fur mama” since I was a kid. I was a cat mom as a child and today I have my own dog. I genuinely love all animals, and my friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets for years - even when they’re babies are dealing with health issues. What I have been trusted with: - Medication administration (and keeping an eye out for symptoms) - Routine check-ins and updates - Playtime, walks, and hikes - Helping maintain consistent routines while you’re away I used to joke that my home was basically a doggy daycare. I used to regularly watch my dog along with three of my friends’ dogs! I trained our family dog starting at age 11, and I still have that passion today. My girl, Kima, knows lots of tricks and is often described as the “perfect dog.” While I’m not a certified trainer, I’m happy to support the routines and training you already have so your pet keeps their momentum and feels secure. I work from home, so overnight sitting can also include me being present throughout the day as long as I have a stable internet connection and a relatively quiet space to work. I’m very flexible with my schedule. If possible, I’d love to have my pup join me in house sits, but it’s not a deal breaker and understand that that’s not always possible. Kim was amazing. Our fur baby mochi had a health complication and she did everything she could to take care of him and make him more comfortable including hunting through our house for his cone and making sure he couldn't lick at it. She gave them loves and was proactive with her care.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
