I currently have two cats of my own and also take care of my friends' pets, including an older cat who needs daily medication, so I'm used to following routines closely and giving medication when needed. I know dogs do best when their day feels normal, so I'll stick to your dog's usual feeding times, walks, and potty breaks. Whether your dog is full of energy or a little nervous around new people, I'll take the time to let them get comfortable with me. If they want to play, we'll play, and if they'd rather relax on the couch, that works for me too. My schedule is very flexible, so I'm available for last minute trips and longer stays, and your dog won't be left alone for long stretches. I'll send photo updates every day and take care of your home like it's my own. I'd love to meet you and your pup before your trip! Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. I start each morning feeding Leo and Winston and cleaning their litter boxes, and they get playtime and attention throughout the day. I also help care for two of my friends' cats, including an older cat who needs medication on a regular schedule, so keeping track of feeding times, meds, and routines comes naturally to me.
