Miranda is so wonderful I almost want to gatekeep how great she is. She communicated so well with us before even our meet and greet and then confirming before our trip and the day before we were supposed to return. This was very helpful as we were of course super nervous about leaving our babies and overwhelmed with the trip in general. We did choose to board our youngest pup to keep the house less stressful for everyone and we think that was the perfect balance. Miranda was understanding that we had to order more bags for the liter robot and also helped us when we had our poop scoop service come and they needed the dogs contained for their visit. She even wrapped the pups in blankets and watched movies with them when it thundered to keep them calm. Coming home, our dogs were happy to see us but not in distress from our absence like they have been before. Usually they whimper and won’t leave our side for days. This time they were happy to see us but they were also very calm, like they knew they wouldn’t be alone for long. Our only regret is not having the chance to make our home more like a vacation for her while we were on our vacation. 💜

Jory was an absolute lifesaver. Our original pet sitter was in an accident the night before our trip, and Jory stepped in on very short notice. He came by first thing the next morning to meet our pets and make sure it was a good fit, which we truly appreciated. It was immediately clear that he is a caring and genuine animal lover. Abby is by far the best sitter we’ve had on the Rover app. She has watched our goldens twice now and both times she has been so professional, kind, and gentle with our dogs. Angie was an absolute STAR. We have two dogs and a cat, and she did a beautiful job of caring for them while we were away for five days. Amy is an incredible pet sitter, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She recently house-sat for our sweet (but reactive) big boy, Odin, for over a week, and she handled everything flawlessly. Leaving a reactive dog who requires specific training tools (like an e-collar) can be incredibly stressful, but Amy picked up Odin's commands and routines instantly. She was deeply attentive to his triggers, expertly redirecting his attention during walks, and keeping him safe and calm. She even handled a surprise neighborhood dog interaction with total confidence and poise. Beyond her amazing handling skills, Amy is a fantastic communicator. We received daily updates with tons of photos of Odin on his early morning walks, enjoying his post-walk naps, and soaking up the AC. When we returned, the house was clean! She had even washed the sheets, vacuumed up the inevitable dog hair, and taken out the trash. Odin was happy, relaxed, and so well-loved. Amy is a true professional who genuinely cares about the details. We will absolutely be booking her again!
