Availability
Pet care fits naturally into my routine, especially on weekends and for overnight or house-sitting stays. I’m a hybrid worker, which means I can comfortably work from a client’s home on Fridays and Mondays during house or pet sits, giving pets more company and consistency. During the week, I have some flexibility for house-sitting and longer stays. Drop-in visits and dog walks during standard weekday work hours may be more limited, but I’m always happy to discuss specific needs and schedules to see if it’s a good fit. My goal is to make sure each pet gets reliable, attentive care that works well for both of us. **AVAILABILITY NOTE: I work a hybrid schedule and am in the office routinely on Tues/Thurs, which is why my availability is set for the weekend. For housesitting cats and/or dogs who can be alone for 8-9 hours a day mid-week, I may be available! Feel free to send a note with your request if you're looking for a longer sit.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes and focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I believe pets are happiest when things feel familiar, so I follow feeding schedules, walking routines, house rules, and any instructions you leave. I’m comfortable with crate-trained pets, leash walking, and structured routines. For dogs who are used to off-leash time, I’m open to that only once trust has been established and with clear owner permission, and always in appropriate, safe environments. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and overall well-being, and I adjust care based on what each pet needs that day, whether that’s extra movement, quiet companionship, or reassurance. I’m respectful of your home, keep things tidy, and provide updates so you feel confident your pet is in good hands.

When you reach out, please include your pet’s breed(s), size, age, how many pets you have, a quick note on their typical routine and overall behavior, and any medical needs or medications.
A typical day
I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so things feel familiar and low-stress. That means sticking to usual feeding times, walks, meds if needed, and check-ins. For dogs, that includes walks and play; for cats, feeding, litter care, and time spent hanging out so they’re not just alone between visits. My goal is consistency and making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. For dogs, I love long walks and hikes if you’re near trails, and I’m happy to take them on outings or hikes with me if you’re comfortable with me driving them. Dog parks, ball throwing, and outdoor play are always on the table. If they have enrichment or stimulation toys, I make sure those get used too. For cats, it’s playtime, window watching, brushing if they like it, and plenty of calm company. And if your pet is more of a couch potato, I’m just as happy to provide lots of cuddles and steady affection. I’ve cared for both high-energy pets and older ones who just want love and comfort.

Pet care experience
I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals, especially cats and dogs, and I bring an enthusiastic, grounded approach to every pet I care for. I have lifelong experience with cats, including everything from newborn kittens to senior and end-of-life care. I grew up in a home where cats were frequently rescued and rehomed, so I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, litter habits, medications, and recognizing when something feels “off.” I’m also the go-to person friends call when they find a stray, and I currently have two cats of my own. With dogs, I’m most experienced with mid- to large-size breeds like pit bulls, labs, retrievers, and doodles. I adopted my last dog Dakota at 1.5 years old after she was rescued from an abusive home. She was fearful of men and struggled with separation anxiety, so I’m very comfortable working with nervous or sensitive dogs and following consistency and routine. I cared for her through her senior years and managed daily medications until she passed from congestive heart failure this past year. I’m patient, observant, and deeply respectful of each pet’s individual needs. I follow instructions carefully and treat every animal as if they were my own. As a bonus, I completed a thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail last year, so long walks and active dogs are very much in my wheelhouse. If your dog needs extra movement to stay happy and calm, I’m more than comfortable providing it!

Reviews

Morgan watched my fur babies for a week, house sitting while I was on vacation. She sent several updates, including pictures, had good communication regarding her work schedule and any time she would be away, and deescalated an unexpected tiff between my 2 dogs. She even checked with me about our trip departure and arrival times, stopping by for an extra walk on the last day to get some zoomies out before I flew home. The dogs seemed to love her, and I would definitely hire her again.

Morgan did an awesome job! Our two dogs loved hanging with her, she sent lots of photos and updates, and she left our home in great shape. We would definitely use her again!
