About: Hello! My name is Kyle and I’ve taken care of dogs for many years now - my own large dogs and friend’s and family’s animals. I would love to hang out with your buddy! We live in a house with a backyard and have a 1.5 y/o Pyrenees/Golden mix who loves to play. If your buddy isn’t really into playing, it’s easy to keep ‘em separated. We do have kiddos (4 and 7 y/o), so if your pup(s) are aggressive or does not get along with kids or other dogs, we will not be the family for you. I work from home, so someone will always be here to keep an eye on ‘em or to play and take walks. I would love the opportunity to take good care of your buddy and give lots of love. Thanks for looking and hope to meet you soon! Kyle No set schedule - I work from home, so there will almost always be someone around to keep an eye on your buddy, regardless of time of day! We have a fully (6’) fenced yard to ensure your buddy’s safety. Additionally, we have another full time pup who lives with us and LOVES to play! And if that wasn’t enough, we have two kiddos (4 and 7 y/o) who will go out of their way to make your buddy feels loved, cared for, and always safe and comfortable.
“Maple was so excited in the morning to spend another day at Erik’s house. She always has a blast and Erik makes sure to show me how much fun she’s having. Maple came back a very happy and sleepy puppy. Erik is always so accommodating, which makes her trips there so worth it!”

“Flaminia took such great care of my puppy! He’s a 9-month old border collie - Dalmatian mix, so he’s not exactly easy to tire out, but he slept all evening after spending the day with her and seemed like he had a great day! She also had great communication and was easy to get to. We would definitely use her again :)”

About: With years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, I offer reliable, attentive pet sitting that puts your pet’s comfort first. I’ve worked with everything from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and support. I’m confident with feeding routines, long walks, and lots of playtime and affection. My goal is always to keep your pet’s daily routine consistent, make them feel secure, and give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every animal as if they were my own, because I know how important they are to you. Since both my partner and I work from home, pet care blends naturally into our everyday life. We love starting the day with a walk or playtime, checking in throughout the day, and ending the evening with snuggles or a relaxed wind-down. Having two people at home means there’s always someone nearby to give attention, reassurance, or a quick treat break. It never feels like work; it’s simply part of what we enjoy doing together. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment. At home, pets enjoy a structured routine with plenty of playtime, regular walks, and lots of companionship, especially since both my partner and I work from home full-time. We’re able to offer nearly constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of love throughout the day. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their established routines closely. I maintain feeding schedules, provide refreshing walks and play sessions, keep their space tidy, and send regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and secure, whether they’re staying with us or I’m visiting them in their familiar space.

About: My husband and I dearly miss the company and compassion of our golden retriever and collie. So, missing having a pet around, we have joined Rover as a provider to extend our warmth to additional pets. We like to express ourselves to a dog/puppy through cuddling, brushing and active walks that are to their delight. We have a third of an acre fully fenced in back yard(see our pics!) as well as an array of large public parks within a mile of our house. We are well accustomed to attending to feeding schedules, walking schedules and hugging time (always). As my husband and I are both at home 24/7, we are able to keep a close eye and ear to back door scratching, barks and tail wagging. We are a couple in mid life who work from home and who have oodles of time to spend attending to a content doggy. We have a large fenced in yard (1/3 acre) with multiple city parks in walking distance. During the 12 years that we had our combined two loving dogs (a collie and a golden) they trained us well to be attentive to potty breaks, exercising and romping, meal times and occasional snacks.
“Regina helped us watch our girl for the afternoon while we continued exploring with our little ones. It was a last minute decision and it worked out great. Beezus got a nice city walk in and some warm snuggles. Thank you again!”

“Luke was so accommodating! We had a very short notice requirement and he worked with us so well to accommodate our pups! They loved their time there and were so sad to leave. Thanks so much!!”

“Anna and Kyle were great! Lily had a great time with them and came back tired and happy. They were very response and took great care of her would definitely recommend and will be reaching out to them again to watch Lily”

Bear had a fantastic week with Lauryn! It was our first time leaving him with anyone and we were nervous at first but Lauryn eased our minds by sending pictures and video of him having the best time. You can tell how much she loves dogs! We’ll definitely book with her again! Thanks Lauryn!!

Sabrina was great with my dog! She was quick to respond and consistently sent pics and videos throughout the stay. She took her on long walks, to the park, and played fetch in the backyard. Sophie had such a great time. She came home happy and tired. Would definitely recommend!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Mountain View commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
