About: My husband and I dearly miss the company and compassion of our golden retriever and collie. So, missing having a pet around, we have joined Rover as a to be able to extend our warmth to other people's pets. We like to express ourselves to a dog/puppy through cuddling, brushing, belly rubs, and active walks that delight them. We have a third-of-an-acre, fully fenced-in backyard (see our pics!) as well as an array of large public parks within a mile of our house. And we have to mention the nice doggy pool we have added! We are well accustomed to attending to feeding schedules, walking schedules, and hugging time (always). As my husband and I are both at home 24/7, we keep a close eye and ear on the barking and tail wagging, and we don't leave the pet unattended for a minute. We are a couple in midlife who have oodles of time to spend attending to a pet. We have a large fenced-in yard (1/3 acre), a large doggy pool, and multiple city parks within walking distance. Over the past 12 years, we have had our two loving dogs together, and they have trained us well to be attentive to potty breaks, exercise and romping, meal times, occasional snacks, and cuddles.
“Eric did a fantastic job watching my pup this past week on short notice while I was at work. He was very responsive and helpful, and made sure to send pictures here and there throughout the day. My pup came home happy and well looked after, and I could not be more grateful. We will definitely be back!”

“Sophie is top notch!! She has been so great with my anxious husky and my girl has been so comfortable with her. She sends photos of walking the dogs and her little dog is so friendly. Thanks for the amazing care Sophie!”

“Jacquie was very sweet from the start. Asking all the right questions for Willy’s first time meeting her. She gave me great updates throughout the day, and effortlessly accommodated when I had to ask for a later pick up time. Willy was so sad when we were leaving. We can’t wait to go back!”

“Both my dogs settled in record time! Lindsay provided updates, report cards and plenty of pictures. It was a relief to see my pets sleeping on their backs next Lindsay. Her genuine love for pets was apparent from the first moment we all met. We are grateful to have found Lindsay and we wish her the best!”

“Chelsea and Chuck are the sweetest and have the most beautiful property! They were very accommodating for a last minute request and will certainly be my new go-to!”

About: Your pup deserves the best and we’ll make sure to treat them like they’re apart of our family! Matt has grown up with dogs his whole life and Srividhya started watching dogs 8 years ago when she started taking care of Matt’s parent’s dogs. We are available to board and host your dog on most weekdays and weekends! Both of us work from home, so we can pay close attention to your dog. Contact us for availability and feel free to reach out if you need us to accommodate any specific needs. We do not have kids but do have one puppy, so your dog will by our main priority. We have a fully fenced large yard!

“Luke was so accommodating! We had a very short notice requirement and he worked with us so well to accommodate our pups! They loved their time there and were so sad to leave. Thanks so much!!”

“Irina and her boyfriend took excellent care of Griffin. He was so excited to be there and we received lots of pictures of the fun he was having. We enjoyed getting to know them and highly recommend them to others.”

About: With years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, I offer reliable, attentive pet sitting that puts your pet’s comfort first. I’ve worked with everything from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and support. I’m confident with feeding routines, long walks, and lots of playtime and affection. My goal is always to keep your pet’s daily routine consistent, make them feel secure, and give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every animal as if they were my own, because I know how important they are to you. Since both my partner and I work from home, pet care blends naturally into our everyday life. We love starting the day with a walk or playtime, checking in throughout the day, and ending the evening with snuggles or a relaxed wind-down. Having two people at home means there’s always someone nearby to give attention, reassurance, or a quick treat break. It never feels like work; it’s simply part of what we enjoy doing together. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment. At home, pets enjoy a structured routine with plenty of playtime, regular walks, and lots of companionship, especially since both my partner and I work from home full-time. We’re able to offer nearly constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of love throughout the day. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their established routines closely. I maintain feeding schedules, provide refreshing walks and play sessions, keep their space tidy, and send regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and secure, whether they’re staying with us or I’m visiting them in their familiar space.
“Cory did a great job with our 8 year old goldendoodle. Drop off and pickup was very smooth. We also received a photo during the stay which definitely helped as this was our first time using Rover and I was nervous leaving our pup with someone I don’t know!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has grown up with both dogs and cats. While I don’t currently have any pets of my own, I’ve lived with them throughout my childhood and much of my adult life, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I work from home full-time, which means your pet will have plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. I’ve been pet sitting for friends during their vacations for years, and I realized I enjoy it so much that I decided to join Rover. I live right next to the Clear Creek Trail system, so if your dog enjoys getting outside, we’ll have plenty of opportunities for long walks and exploring the trails together. I love being outside in every season, whether it’s sunny, rainy, or snowy. If your pet is more of a homebody, I’m just as happy spending a relaxing day indoors with plenty of cuddles, playtime, and attention. Whether they’re energetic or laid-back, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. One fun bonus is that photography is one of my hobbies, and I especially enjoy photographing pets. If your furry friend is willing to pose, I’d be happy to send you some high-quality photos along with regular updates during their stay. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll treat them like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member! I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. Your pet won’t be left alone for long periods, and I can easily adapt to their normal routine. Whether your pet loves long walks along the Clear Creek trails or prefers a quiet day relaxing at home, I’m happy to tailor their care to their personality and needs. Weekdays and weekends are both generally available, making scheduling easy. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a clean, quiet two-bedroom home within walking distance of the Clear Creek Trail system, making it a great place for both active pets who enjoy exploring and those who simply appreciate a peaceful environment. Since I don’t currently have any pets of my own, your pet will have my full attention and won’t have to share the space with unfamiliar animals. I also have a large yard that’s perfect for quick potty breaks and fresh air. Since it’s currently unfenced, all outdoor time is supervised and on a leash to ensure your pet stays safe at all times. For exercise, we’ll enjoy longer leashed walks on the nearby trails or spend time playing indoors, depending on your pet’s energy level and preferences. Because I work from home, your pet will rarely be left alone and will receive plenty of attention, affection, and supervision throughout the day. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, crate routines, and any special instructions you provide. I understand that every pet is different, and I’ll take the time to learn what makes yours feel comfortable and secure.
About: Hello! I’m Jenny. Nice to meet you! Being a pet walker / sitter is more than simply showing up at someone's home. It's about building trust and a positive relationship as you are entrusting your beloved family into a stranger's care. I would love to have the opportunity to build that relationship with you as well as you favorite furry friend! :) A few qualities I believe will make me an exceptional fit for you and your family: I'm friendly, responsible, and caring. I take initiative and will make sure your dog receives loving, thoughtful care. I will treat your dog like my own and strive to provide you with care you can trust. I work remotely full time which makes me a great choice for your walking or sitting needs. When you leave your pup with me, you know I’ll be with them all throughout the day and able to provide exactly what they need when they need it. I’m also able to bring my work with me so I can board at your home and provide the same level of care right from your home. My flexible schedule also enables me to walk your pup on your schedule. When I care for your pet, I care for them as if they are my own. That means being there to provide not just consistent food times, potty breaks and walks but to pay attention and notice when they might need some snuggle time, extra time outside or a check in with their parents. My main goal is providing exceptional care which means I will adapt to the unique needs of your pet.
“Alexandra is the BEST! My dog felt so comfortable with her, to the point where he didn’t want to come home and kept leading me back to her house on our walks. She is so professional, kind and amazing with animals. When my dog got a little anxious she was able to help him calm down. I cannot recommend her enough!”

Lindsay was absolutely wonderful with Finn! From the moment we met her, we felt completely at ease leaving him in her care. It was obvious Finn was happy, well cared for, and got plenty of love and attention. I would absolutely book with Lindsay again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their dog!

Anna’s dog day care was amazing! We received lots of pics and videos during the day and I was able to rest easy at work knowing that my puppy was being taken such good care of. She even went on a walk in addition to the dogs getting to play out in a big yard most of the day. Anna is very trustworthy and reliable.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
