“They took such great care of Jazzie so I could explore Denver without having to worry about her. Will use them again the next time I am in Denver. Jazzie is an anxious dog and felt right at home with them.”

“Luke was so accommodating! We had a very short notice requirement and he worked with us so well to accommodate our pups! They loved their time there and were so sad to leave. Thanks so much!!”

“Cory did a great job with our 8 year old goldendoodle. Drop off and pickup was very smooth. We also received a photo during the stay which definitely helped as this was our first time using Rover and I was nervous leaving our pup with someone I don’t know!”

“Our 8 month lab absolutely loved doggy daycare. Not only did she get to make new friends and play in their large backyard, but she even got a long walk. She came home throughly exhausted!”

About: I have taken care of multiple friends and family dogs while they were away on trips including letting them out, taking them on walks, and playing with them. I also have had 2 family dogs. One that I grew up with my entire life and a new puppy! I am in the process of looking for a job, so until I find one I have a very big availability all throughout the week. I have time to sit and be tentative with any animal I am carrying for. I live right next to a park which makes a great place to walk and play.
“Sehwa and Adam were so great! Our Nova seemed to love them and they sent updates throughout her day. They were very understanding when we had to postpone for a day due to changing work schedule and when Nova had an accident. This was our first time using Rover so Nova was probably a little extra nervous but they were so nice about it. I would highly recommend Sehwa and Adam, and would love to use them again in the future :)”

“Eric did a fantastic job watching my pup this past week on short notice while I was at work. He was very responsive and helpful, and made sure to send pictures here and there throughout the day. My pup came home happy and well looked after, and I could not be more grateful. We will definitely be back!”

“My 3 month old puppy Bella loved her drop-in stays with Janet! Janet has a great space for dogs including a huge backyard so the pups can safely play all day. I enjoyed the pics and videos she sent of Bella throughout the day and look forward to working with her again in the future!”

“Glory helped me out on such short notice and took amazing care of my girl! She’s quick to respond, sends updates throughout the day, and cares so much about the dog she’s looking after. Couldn’t recommend more!”

“Chelsea and Chuck are the sweetest and have the most beautiful property! They were very accommodating for a last minute request and will certainly be my new go-to!”

“Ace had a great day hanging out with Sydney. He was happy as could be when I picked him up and tired out enough that he slept most of the 2 hour drive home. Would definitely recommend Sydney.”

“Noah was such a great sitter for our dogs Rusty and Lucy! They came home happy and tired. We love that they got lots of attention and had a safe place to play and rest at Noah's home. The photos we received throughout the day were the best! We'll definitely be booking daycare/boarding with Noah again in the future!”

About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, including several with special needs and disabilities, so I understand the importance of patience, attentiveness, and compassionate care. I’ve also spent many years dog and cat sitting for friends and family, caring for pets with all kinds of personalities, routines, and energy levels. I know our pets are family, and I would love the opportunity to provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment for your dog or cat while you’re away! I work full-time from home and am always there during the day. I can schedule weekend care but need a bit more notice as my social calendar can fill up. No pets at home. I can have yours over during the day. Night time is ok if it's not more than a couple of nights, and as long as your pet is quiet/well-behaved.
“Irina and her boyfriend took excellent care of Griffin. He was so excited to be there and we received lots of pictures of the fun he was having. We enjoyed getting to know them and highly recommend them to others.”

About: **About me** My name is Amy. I have the time and the desire to care for your pooch. Jamie, the resident pooch, loves to play with new doggie friends in her spacious back yard. I love to care for doggies. **About my home/services** We give lots of dog walks and interactive and attentive playtime. We provide a big fenced in backyard with space to run. Our respected doggie guests will enjoy a king size bed for sleeping (floor or a crate, if preferred). Your pooch will be well cared for and loved on. **About my neighborhood** Our single family home in the Green Mountain area is secure and safe. The back yard affords your doggie lots of space to play and enjoy both the outdoors, and comfortable indoors, anytime of the year. **What to expect** I walk Jamie twice a day, every day so your pooch will join us for walks (bring your leash). Our neighborhood is quiet and safe and in the nice weather, we like to take in the smells that can be enjoyed in the gulch behind Devinny School. **Special rules or requests** Someone is home nearly all of the time. I work from home, so your doggie will have company and love the whole stay at the Pooch Palace. The Palace has a grassy yard with a fence high enough to curtail even the most skilled escape artists. Doggie guests can play safety inside and out.
“Sophie O. was so great with Cinder. We needed a last minute booking while traveling through Denver and she was quick to respond and very accommodating of Cinder’s special needs in hot weather! Thank you Sophie!”

Can’t ask for much better if you are looking for a sitter. Ace had a great time with Ashley and her pup Lucy. Ashley was extremely accommodating and allowed for an early morning drop off on a Sunday which was a huge help. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day, and Ace was happy as could be when I picked him up. 10/10 would recommend.

Adrian was amazing with Otis and so nice to work with. She took daycare with him on pretty last minute but you couldn’t tell it was any inconvenience because she spent a full day of activities and of her time with him. She really cares for animals and was so kind to us, she is an amazing sitter!

Sthefany and Jeshael were very punctual, took great care of my pup, and were flexible with my schedule, which was really nice. It made things stress-free since I didn’t have to worry about sticking to a strict pickup and drop-off time. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone!

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
