It’s difficult to know where to begin, but basically Harvey occasionally self-harms (bites his tail) from separation anxiety, and he did so after we left him this last trip. Blu took amazing care of him while he was bleeding from his tail, made sure he was comfortable, and sent us updates multiple times daily. About: Im a lover of most all animals especially dogs. I worked at a major dog toy manufacturer for over 10 years. Became friends with a dog trainer who taught me about behaviors and the do's and dont's when interacting with dogs. Is your dog a 'fetcher', 'chewer' or 'tugger'. I'm looking to making new dog friends. I'm recently retired and all days are available. It also gives me an opportunity to get some extra exercise while having a lot of fun doing so. “WOW! I truly can’t say enough good things about Jessica and how much love, care, and attention to detail she gave my cats. We got burned by another sitter who ghosted us just days before our trip, and Jessica was super responsive, communicative, and saved us. Cats can be hard to bond with and connect to, but immediately my cats loved her. They showed her their bellies, rubbed against her, and I knew she was a great fit. She’s also extremely knowledgeable about cats and their behaviors, so I felt like they were in good hands. During our trip she gave us sooo many photos for each drop-in and thorough notes about how they were doing. I felt like she really went above and beyond and gave them so much love. About: I’m Casey, a student at the Colorado School of Mines studying engineering physics. When I’m not hitting the books, I love going on walks, the occasional hike, and skiing during the winter. I also love baking and even keep a sourdough starter named JJ! I’ve had 5 pets growing up, starting with my first dog when I was just 2 years old, and 4 cats since then. Because I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, I know that every single pet has a wildly unique personality, and my favorite thing to do is figure out exactly what makes them tick. “Abigail was quick to respond and super friendly. We were visiting from out of town and couldn’t leave our dog in the hotel alone. We were attending a wedding and Abigail was able to watch our dog the 5 hours we were away. It was such a relief to know our dog was safe and happy while we were busy. “Short review is Luke is a fully capable sitter who can handle any situation you may have. And your dog will come back happier. Long version, My dog Tucker her has special needs. He was attacked a couple of years ago and doesn’t do well around aggressive, male dogs or a bunch of dogs. The first time I brought Tucker to Luke’s house, he met his beautiful dog Brolie. He’s very energetic but very well trained. I was a little hesitant, but Broly let Tucker settle in and by time I had come back to pick him up the first day after an hour they were already best friends. It was at this time. I felt comfortable going on my four day trip. Not only did Luke send many pictures of Tucker looking happy and stress-free, but was always there to quickly respond if I had any questions. I also had a situation where I could be back a day earlier or not, and there was never an issue if I needed to extend my stay, Luke would’ve had my back. I can’t say enough good things about what Luke did to help make Tucker feel safe and loved. He realized that Tucker was super food driven and always gave him little treats when he needed it and even toppers for his food when Tucker was jealous of Brolie’s dinner. Not only that but Luca is training to be professional dog trainer so if you need somebody who is very understanding, kind hearted, and absolutely appreciates your love for your pet, Luke is your guy. But just not too many of you because I need him to save a spot for Tucker lol”
“I can not thank Danielle and her family for taking such good care of our fur children, Chica and Lainie. From the moment we met to the time I picked up he girls I knew they were in good hands. Danielle and her family live on a quiet street in Littleton, CO. They also have a Golden Doodle that is very sweet. My dogs and theirs hit it right off. Her home is welcoming. They have a huge backyard for the dogs to run freely in. Danielle treated Chica and Lainie like they were her own. When dropping them off for their overnight stay, I was met in the driveway and Danielle was so excited to see us. Chica is a bit fussy when it is time to eat and doesn't always want to eat. They both get medicine every morning. Danielle was able to give the medicine and get Chica to eat. During the overnight stay I received many texts with pictures of what they were up to. The next morning I was again greeted with enthusiasm by Danielle and she couldn't stop telling me how great the girls were over night. If you are ever in the Littleton, Colorado area and need a dog sitter whether for the day or overnight Danielle and her family are the ones to choose.”
