About: I’m Casey, a student at the Colorado School of Mines studying engineering physics. When I’m not hitting the books, I love going on walks, the occasional hike, and skiing during the winter. I also love baking and even keep a sourdough starter named JJ! I’ve had 5 pets growing up, starting with my first dog when I was just 2 years old, and 4 cats since then. Because I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, I know that every single pet has a wildly unique personality, and my favorite thing to do is figure out exactly what makes them tick. I’ve loved them all—from my lazy childhood dog Tucker, who was so passive he never growled no matter how hard you squeezed him , to my cat Lizzie, who had a resting grumpy face but was such a sweet lap cat that you simply couldn't move once she sat down. I am incredibly observant and patient with pets' specific needs. Back at home in Seattle, I have a timid senior cat, Josie, who has arthritis in her knees and only drinks from the faucet until her face is covered in water. I also have a playful "dog-cat" named Lucie who loves her boxes and begs to sit on the porch in the sun, and another cat named MeeMee who will chirp at you from across the room when she realizes she's alone. I bring this same grounded, detail-oriented love to every pet I care for. Whether your animal needs a quiet companion or an active walking buddy, you can trust me to be responsible, communicative, and invested in your furry best friend! I'm currently doing research part time with flexible hours, so I'll have plenty of time to adjust to each pet's needs, whether that means a long walk/hike or some quick cuddles. Each pet is different and I'd love to learn what each one needs and make sure they get as much exercise or attention as desired.
“Don always takes great care of my girl and I truly appreciate someone to walk my dog and care for her as much as I do. Xena is a sweet girl and I truly appreciate Don be as equally sweet to her and patient with her.”

About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, including several with special needs and disabilities, so I understand the importance of patience, attentiveness, and compassionate care. I’ve also spent many years dog and cat sitting for friends and family, caring for pets with all kinds of personalities, routines, and energy levels. I know our pets are family, and I would love the opportunity to provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment for your dog or cat while you’re away! I work full-time from home and am always there during the day. I can schedule weekend care but need a bit more notice as my social calendar can fill up. No pets at home. I can have yours over during the day. Night time is ok if it's not more than a couple of nights, and as long as your pet is quiet/well-behaved.
“Hazel is a repeat client of Ryan’s and she loves him! Ryan’s genuine love and caring for animals come through as soon as you meet him. He is reliable and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend him!”

“She was amazing. Needed her to walk my 3 dogs at night for three nights. Was always on time and sent pics of the animals to let me know she was there and after the walk. I will definitely use her again. You can honestly see the love she has for animals.”

“Silvia is amazing! She met our puppy Rotini and spent time getting to know him and explaining how she likes to perform walks. she also asked if there’s anything we would like her to do differently after. She is great and we will definitely be booking her for more walks in the future!”

“Emma was great with Cheech. She has great communication, is punctual, and has energy for long walks. She also came with treats the 1st day she met Cheech and made friends with him. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of care for their pets.”

“Mikaela is such a great dog walker and person. She was quick to help in a pinch and took excellent care of my dog, who requires some extra oversight. I could tell from the photos from the walk, she really connect with my dog…which means the world to me. Would highly recommend!”

“Andrew has been great with my senior girl. He's very attentive and has her best interest at heart. She has some medical things going on which makes it difficult to leave her but I rest better knowing she's been well cared for by Andrew. He's great to have as a member of our village!”

“Kim was fantastic. She was kind enough to do a quick meet and greet prior to the day of booking. She took Ziggy for a nice long walk. Uploaded pictures. And made sure he had water before she headed out. Will definitely book again!”

“Liv is amazing. If you want an amazing human taking care of your precious family member she is your go to! I was in town as a travel RN and she was amazing with my girl Sage for the last 3 months! She is caring and will go the extra mile in making sure your dog is well cared for with excellent communication and updates. I would for sure use Liv again for weekly walks as well as for overnight stays with your pet. We will miss you tons! You were absolutely the highlight of Sages assignment🥰”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and absolutely love spending time with them. I can be a bit flexible with my schedule so just let me know what would work best for you! Since I live in an apartment, I provide pet care primarily at my clients’ homes. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pleasant View
Ryan was so great with our dog!!! He was always punctual, had great communication, and was a great match to her high energy! Whenever changes in our schedule came up he was super responsive and we felt confident trusting him with our sweet pup! Highly highly recommend!!
Jordan is so wonderful! My dog Douglas loved her the minute he met her. She’s very responsive to feedback about his needs, and things specific to him. With him only having 3 legs, I wanted her to be aware of how long she’s walking him, and what he’s doing. She is so thorough with her notes and honest about everything! She even makes sure he gets a treat and has full water before she leaves. Douglas and I are lucky to have her!

Silvia is the best! She has been walking Penny often for the past three years; she is reliable, communicative and it’s obvious she really loves dogs! Penny loves her! She maps the walks, sends a detailed report and sends the cutest photos! I highly recommend her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
