Dog Walking Golden

About: Im a lover of most all animals especially dogs. I worked at a major dog toy manufacturer for over 10 years. Became friends with a dog trainer who taught me about behaviors and the do's and dont's when interacting with dogs. Is your dog a 'fetcher', 'chewer' or 'tugger'. I'm looking to making new dog friends. I'm recently retired and all days are available. It also gives me an opportunity to get some extra exercise while having a lot of fun doing so. I am looking only for dog walking and sitting at pet owners homes to start. That may change in the future but for now that's what I offer.

About: I have 15 years of hands-on pet care experience and I've been around animals my entire life. I grew up in a household with multiple high-energy dogs, so caring for pets has always felt like second nature to me. Over the years, I've also lived with roommates whose dogs were just as high-energy, and later a cat, which gave me even more day-to-day experience with different pet personalities, routines, and needs. I have also cared for cats with medical needs. I've done drop-in visits for diabetic cats, including administering insulin injections on schedule. I understand how important consistency, routine, and a calm approach are for pets managing health conditions, and I take that responsibility seriously. My partner and I adopted a cat early last year, so I'm very used to daily pet care and know firsthand how important it is to keep things consistent for a pet's comfort and well-being. Our cat Yuzu is friendly, curious, and very social — I've made sure he's comfortable around new people and pets. If your pet enjoys feline company, they'll have a friendly companion during their boarding stay! Whether it's a high-energy dog who needs a good long walk or extra playtime to burn off energy, a cat who just wants a quick check-in and a clean litter box, or a pet who needs full boarding while their owners are away, I'm comfortable and experienced enough to give them the attentive, reliable care they deserve. I offer walks, drop-in visits, and boarding, and I'm happy to work with pets who have special needs, medications, or routines that require extra attention and consistency. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life since I work from home and have my own cat, Yuzu. Feeding, playtime, and routine check-ins happen daily, so fitting in walks, drop-ins, or boarding for your pet is easy, and I'm able to give them consistent attention throughout the day. In my home, pets are supervised, given a comfortable space, and introduced gradually to Yuzu if they're cat-friendly. In a client's home, I would follow your routines and instructions closely, secure doors and gates, and make sure medications or feeding schedules are followed exactly as directed.

About: Welcome to Camp Jennie! Animals (especially dogs) have always been the light of my life! I have hands-on experience working in dog daycare and boarding, and I love spending time with animals at sanctuaries or out in the wild. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, from energetic puppies who want to play all day to senior dogs who are happiest with a slow walk and some extra cuddles. I’ll even take your buddy up a 14er if that’s something you want, but if your dog would rather stay in, I’m just as happy spending the day at home playing with them, giving belly rubs, and making sure they get plenty of attention. I’ll care for your dog like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing they’re having a great time at Camp Jennie! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. I’m often home during the day, which means I can provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I love being outdoors and staying active, so walks and adventures are already a big part of my day. I also live near Clear Creek in Golden, which makes it easy to enjoy outdoor time and cool off with pups who love the water and have permission to splash around! Whether your pet is adventurous or prefers relaxing at home, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re in my care. I care for every pet as if they are my own and focus on keeping them comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine. Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I take the time to learn their habits, personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions. In my home, pets can expect a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and cozy downtime. I enjoy spending time outdoors, so active pups can get plenty of enrichment, while pets who prefer a slower pace will get lots of companionship and affection. When caring for pets in their own home, I understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable in their familiar space. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep their routine consistent, and provide updates with photos so you know they’re happy and well cared for.

About: I work from home so my schedule is super flexible and I have a five year old golden retriever named Sunny that I love to death. Love hiking with her and take her for walks as much as possible. I grew up with large dogs and know the ins and outs of caring for dogs, large and small. I love them all! I look forward to meeting your pups and giving them the same love and care that I do my own! I will be happy to accommodate any schedule to make your pet as happy and comfortable while you're away as possible. I am currently available anytime day or not and would be happy to make regular visits or extended visits. I'm also pretty open to last minute reservations as well! About: I'm a dog mom through and through, which means I come fully equipped with treats, belly rub expertise, and zero judgment about how many times your pup needs to sniff the same bush. I'm comfortable with everything from 8-week-old puppies to senior dogs (note for senior dogs: they will need to go up stairs). I'll send you an unreasonable number of photos of your dog having the time of their life while they play with my sweet gal, Mocha. Your dog will be spoiled, loved, and probably a little tired by the time you pick them up. I work from home, so your dog is never stuck home alone. They'll have access all day, every day to backyard zoomie sessions in my large, fully-fenced yard, midday sniff adventures, and plenty of couch time in between. Big dogs especially love the backyard! I offer boarding seven days a week and doggy daycare Monday through Friday. Drop-off and pick-up can easily work around your schedule. My home is a dog-friendly zone. The backyard is large and fully fenced. I don't typically use crates. Your dog is free to roam comfortably inside and out, just like they would at home. However, if you would like me to crate them I can. My own friendly dog is part of the package, so your pup will have a built-in buddy to hang out with! I do a slow introduction to make sure the dogs hit it off. As for furniture, I follow your lead! If your dog is used to the couch, they're welcome on mine. If you'd prefer they stay off, I'll happily reinforce that (my dog has already claimed the good cushion anyway). Since I work from home, I'm around to keep an eye on things all day.
