About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. My parents bred dogs, we had horses, pigs, cats and chickens. Unfortunately I am allergic to cats so cannot take care them. I started watching my friends and families dogs recently and my kids and I love it and want to invite more into our home❤️ I work full time but I can work from home anytime. I am mostly home with my kids and we love taking walks and playing outside. I have a fenced yard and a house that can easily be blocked off if needed. We are a few blocks from a lake that we love to walk to!
About: Hi! My name is Rachel and I’ve lived in Denver for 6 years. I’ve grown up around dogs, cats, hamsters, etc. (6+ animals in my childhood household at any given time). I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and choose to surround myself around them whenever I can. I joined Rover so that I can fill my love tank for any and all types of animals. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I work mostly remote, so my schedule is very flexible and I’d be able to make almost anytime in the day work to care for your pet. I’ll love your pet just as you do and will ensure their safety as if they were my own. Your pets safety is my top priority.

About: I’ve always loved animals and taking care of them. I’ve been sitter for neighbors and family since I was 16. I’m pretty good at communicating and asking for clarification especially when it comes to animals. Even with my own pets I’ve had to administer oral medication. My own dog is scared of loud noises and has some anxiety which I’ve helped comfort him a lot, if my animals are scared they’ve always come to me compared to anyone in my family. My schedule is pretty flexible, I do work mornings from about 7 am to 12pm other than that I am free. For housesitting, I can come check on animals every 0-4 hours. I will communicate and clarify if I have any questions. I’m currently working part time and in the mornings. So I’m available to sit after 12 Monday through Friday. I have a pretty flexible schedule. Feel free to reach out. I’ve had different experiences dog sitting. Mostly it’s been just hanging out with them and checking up on them. I’m a pretty social person and animal lover so I love taking dogs on walks too.
“Lauren is the best! Clearly looks out for our dog, adjusting schedules with plenty of communication and care for the weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Thank you Lauren!”

“Angelina was wonderful with our dog! She was punctual, communicative, and sent many pictures and videos. She was very responsible and made sure our girl wasn’t in the heat for too long and had plenty of water. Our dog was very happy in her care.”

“Alyssa is wonderful!! I was so hesitant to hire a dog walker because we are so new to the whole process. She came over and we had a meet and greet. She got to learn all about him and his needs. He has grown since his first visit with her and she has adapted to his 3 month puppy self! Alyssa has been punctual and always sends me great pictures of him. I highly recommend her!!”

“Grace has been so kind and accommodating with our little Luna! Even on days when our 11-year-old pup isn’t quite up for a walk, Grace still takes the time to bring her outside to a shady spot in the grass so she can enjoy some fresh air and the beautiful weather. We truly appreciate the extra care and attention she gives Luna”

“Caroline and her significant other took great care of our dogs. Stayed for the whole hour requested walking and playing with our 2 yr old golden retriever and 6 month old golden retriever puppy. Had great communication and would definitely book again!”

About: Hi! My name is Scott. I’ve been caring for animals my entire life. I’ve always loved cats, but I’ve grown up with and taken care of lots of dogs, so I have a passion for both. I grew up on a ranch in southern Colorado where my family had a plenty of fuzzy buddies to take care of and it was the foundation for my love of dogs and cats (and chickens). When I was 16 I started doing petsitting gigs for family friends and people in my town, where I found ease and passion for something I’d been doing my whole life. Mostly in the realm of housesitting and dog walking. I’ve had experience with all types of animals, big and small, attention-loving and shy, elderly and young, etc. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, gerbils, turtles, and snakes. You can have full confidence that your pet will be well taken care of if you decide to hire me. My main occupation allows me to work flexible hours, so I’m open to most timeframe arrangements for stays (I work from home). With enough notice I can accommodate most situations with ease. My main goal when it comes to petsitting is making sure the routine I have with your pet mimics their usual routine as much as possible. I am all for play and attention of course, but I understand the importance of making sure the animal has little change from their usual day to day life, especially when it comes to disabled animals and elderly animals that need extra special care. That being said, I will give your buddy plenty of outside time and we’ll get play time in :). I’m able to board small/lower mid-sized dogs and cats at my place. I have a cat, but I keep her away from any visiting animals, as she is friendly but fairly small and also special needs.
About: I currently am a foster mom for puppies that come through Colorado. I have two puppies around for 1-2 weeks a month and have loved it. I also raised three different dogs growing up and worked at a farm! So lots of hands on experience. I work from home full time and occasionally travel to work. That is why I don’t have a dog of my own! So I would love to take care of your puppies and give them lots of love while you are gone! I live in Old Town Arvada, there’s a dog park at my apartment and dogs are welcome throughout the town. I live with one roommate who also has the same schedule as me so your dog will get lots of love and attention while you are gone! If you need any references I can get you in touch with our foster coordinator who’s trusted us with plenty of puppies sets in the last year.

Michaelah is wonderful. I’ve been using her as a sitter and walker for years and she’s always been professional, trustworthy, reliable and treated my dog like family. My dog is always thrilled to see her and super calm and happy after her visits. I can’t recommend her enough.

I had Rhianna walk my large, older dog and my son's large dog while we were on vacation. She did a wonderful job, communicated well with me and with our house sitter, and gave the dogs all the exercise they needed. They are both rather shy and not fans of new people, but they went with her happily. I would definitely book with her again!!

- 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
