“I had a last-minute engagement come up with my son who was visiting from out of town, and since my dog, Stanley, suffers from separation anxiety and can no longer be left alone at my townhouse, I urgently needed to find care. I'm so grateful this gentleman was available on short notice to help out. Stanley has pretty severe anxiety—he tends to cry and whine when I’m gone, which has been frustrating and heartbreaking. We’ve been working closely with his vet and a trainer, trying everything from calming collars and thunder shirts to CBD, leaving an item of my clothing, and even having in-home sitters. Unfortunately, nothing has been a magic fix yet, but we’re continuing to try. That said, Stanley *loves* other people and dogs, and I was relieved to see he came home happy (and hungry!). They even kindly offered him some food when he didn’t want to eat his own, which I really appreciated. When my dinner reservation ran late, he was flexible and understanding about the pick-up time, which I also truly appreciated. Overall, a great experience, especially considering how last-minute and complex Stanley’s care can be. Thank you again!”

About: We’re a family that loves dogs and has the perfect setup to make them feel right at home. We have a large, fully fenced backyard with tons of room to run and play, a pool, and three boys who absolutely love having dogs around and giving them attention. Dogs staying with us become part of the family while they’re here, with plenty of outdoor time, walks, playtime and attention throughout the day. We intentionally keep the number of dogs we care for limited so every dog gets plenty of individual attention rather than feeling like they’re at a crowded boarding facility. Safety is extremely important to us, so we only accept friendly dogs that are comfortable around children, and we’re happy to do a meet-and-greet before their first stay. Meagan is a stay-at-home mom to our three young boys, who are in school during the day, so she has plenty of time to give your dog attention, playtime and companionship throughout the day. Josh is also around outside of work hours, so between the two of us, dogs staying here get lots of attention, outdoor time and walks. We’re close to Ralston Creek and several great parks and trails, which makes getting out for walks easy. Our boys absolutely love dogs too, so there’s no shortage of attention when everyone gets home! We have a large, fully fenced private backyard with plenty of room to run, play and relax outside, along with a pool and lots of space inside our home. Dogs stay with us as part of the family, not isolated in a kennel or left outside for long periods. We provide plenty of supervised backyard time, walks, playtime and attention throughout their stay. Because we have three young boys, we only accept friendly dogs that are comfortable around children. We’re also happy to do a meet-and-greet before the first stay so everyone feels comfortable and we can learn your dog’s routine, personality and needs.

About: My husband and I have been taking care of friends’ dogs for years. We love them all! We’ve got a big guy of our own, who is very friendly but likely will request a meet and greet just to make sure everyone gets along prior to your first booking. My husband and I both work from home. We have pretty demanding jobs so are really able to take care of the pups before 7 and after 5. We have a fenced in yard and one big pup to keep your furry one company! Our yard is on a corner of a busy street so people and dogs walk by frequently.

About: We share our home with a 15 years young, grumpy old-man Chihuahua, a 7-year old Chihuahua mix, and a new Husky-mix puppy. Dogs provide us with so much love and kindness on a daily basis, that's why I believe we should offer that same kindness back to them! Rochelle has been caring for dogs for well over a decade, from totally healthy to those needing special care (medicine, slower walks, special feeding requirements). In general, our pups get along great with low-energy dogs and low-energy dogs are ideal clients! Though, the puppy can also help us with higher energy pups. Rochelle works from home full time. We REQUIRE a meet and greet prior to booking new clients, no exceptions. Due to medical concerns, Rochelle is only able to care for small to medium size dogs. Willing to consider dogs who are larger in size only if they have completed intensive behavioral training (such as therapy dog training or hunting dog training) in which your dog will respond to commands 100% of the time. Thank you for your understanding. Note: I had a name change in 2024 from Caitlyn to Rochelle. Ben was added to the account in 2026. We’re happy to share our home with pups!

Her home is not only lovely, but it also feels incredibly safe and welcoming, which gave us so much peace of mind leaving our small pup in her care. She is kind, patient, and clearly has a natural way with dogs. Our pup can be a little rascal and anxious around other dogs, but he settled in beautifully thanks to her calm and attentive approach. And her sweet dog Norman is such a gentle, friendly companion, our pup did great. It’s clear Jaclyn truly cares, and that makes all the difference.
