About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with 7+ years of hands-on experience caring for my own lab, Roxy, through every stage of life, from adulthood through her senior years. I also have experience supporting dogs with mobility challenges, including senior dogs, amputees, and dogs undergoing cancer treatment and chemotherapy. I’ve dog-sat a variety of breeds and personalities, from energetic dogs like Australian Shepherds and Corgis to laid-back companions like Pugs and French Bulldogs. I understand that every dog has different exercise, enrichment, and comfort needs, and I tailor care accordingly. Your dog will stay in our spacious single family home with access to a semi-fenced backyard and plenty of room to relax. I work from home, so I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I’m comfortable administering oral medications and monitoring senior or medically complex dogs. Having cared for Roxy through cancer treatment, including oral chemotherapy, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, and energy levels. I intentionally host only one client’s dog(s) at a time so they receive plenty of individual attention and care. Your pup will have the company of two dog-loving adults in the home, no other animals and no children. Whether your dog is an energetic adventure buddy, a couch cuddler, or needs a little extra support in their senior years, I’ll do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Because I only host one client’s dog(s) at a time, your pup receives plenty of attention and care rather than being one of many dogs in a busy boarding environment. My schedule is flexible, making it easy to accommodate your dog’s normal routine. Your dog will stay in our spacious 2,400 sq ft home with access to a semi-fenced backyard, many nearby walking trails/dog parks, and plenty of indoor space to relax. There are two dog-loving adults in the home and no children. I have over 7 years of experience caring for dogs, including senior dogs, amputees, and dogs undergoing cancer treatment and chemotherapy. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, monitoring behavior and appetite, and adapting care to your dog’s individual needs. For safety and personalized attention, I only accept one client booking at a time.

I have experience with training puppies (including my own) and have cared for dogs and cats for family friends since I was 13. I work from home and can take your dog on walks once or twice a day with potty breaks every 4-8 hours-- or more if needed! We eat breakfast around 8 or so and then head for an after walk between noon and 2 depending on my meeting schedule. Some days my partner Joe will take the pups to the dog park in the morning when he isn’t working to get some energy out otherwise we’ll go later in the afternoon. We love walking over to commons park and sitting on the hill for sunset. We eat dinner around 5 and head for a final potty walk around the block before bed. Your pets are treated like one of our own. We will provide endless love and attention, treats and mental training exercises (cali loved hide and seek). Any special needs just let us know!

Wow Ava takes her job very seriously, and it shows through every interaction as well as how much my dogs love her! I have some special care dogs, one being very nervous and one can be reactive. She handled them beautifully without any issues. They didn't want to leave her house to come home! She is extremely professional and for sure the highest quality care I have met from Rover.

Alexandra and her husband were some of the greatest sitters we have used. I would strongly recommend them to anyone in the area or anyone visiting. She was able to take our 2 on last minute. They treated them much like they were their own. Everyday upon pickup our dogs were tuckered out and overwhelmingly happy, which is a difficult task for our dogs.
