Aspen is an only child and can be a little needy and barky at times, and she definitely takes a while to warm up to new people. Before the stay, we asked if we could bring Aspen over briefly so she could meet Jill and get familiar with her and the environment. Jill was so kind and flexible in letting us do that, which gave both my partner and me so much peace of mind. To our surprise, Aspen warmed up to Jill and her yard immediately! Drop-off went smoothly, and throughout the weekend Jill took such great care of Aspen. She sent us photos and updates, which kept us in the loop and reassured us that our puppy was happy and doing well. At the end, he even made a montage video of the time Franklin spent there. This is the BEST rover experience I’ve ever had. Morning, noon or night they are by our side. Our babies. Never physical punishment but they do get time outs in their kennels if they have been misbehaving. We have a very open floor plan in the house which they run around and the back door is always open for them to come in and out. The back yard is very large with trees and shrubs that they play in and around. It is a fully fenced six foot enclosed yard with plenty of room to roam or run. About: I’ve always loved animals and taking care of them. I’ve been sitter for neighbors and family since I was 16. I’m pretty good at communicating and asking for clarification especially when it comes to animals. Even with my own pets I’ve had to administer oral medication. My own dog is scared of loud noises and has some anxiety which I’ve helped comfort him a lot, if my animals are scared they’ve always come to me compared to anyone in my family. My schedule is pretty flexible, I do work mornings from about 7 am to 12pm other than that I am free. For housesitting, I can come check on animals every 0-4 hours. I have a fenced yard and a 1 1/2 year old dog to keep your pup company! I do have a separate area of the house with doors separating upstairs from downstairs if that does not work for your pup. I also have a crate if that is what makes you most comfortable.
