“Kim was absolutely amazing! Beyond words but I'll try! This was our first time using Rover as we typically have friends in town that can help out with our cats, but they were also gone this week. Now I don't think I'll ever go back to having friends pet sit as long as Kim's available! My cats absolutely adored her, even the one that I've never seen come out for strangers or even friends had so much fun with her! It was so amazing knowing my girls were so well fed, played with and loved on while we were away! Thank you so much Kim!”

“Megan was incredibly attentive to our cats! She made timely visits and sent adorable photos of everyone daily. She also communicated any issues quickly and professionally. Would rebook her without hesitation!”

“Kayla was once again amazing and we’re so happy knowing our cats are well-cared for while we’re gone! We would highly recommend Kayla for your pet sitting needs and will definitely be booking her for future visits!”

“Sydney was amazing! She sent beautiful pictures and gave me updates on my boys and the house regularly. Everything was left in good condition and she gave my little guys their cookies and meds. Thank you Sydney.”

About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart — there’s nothing quite like the bond between a pet and the people who love them, and I take that trust seriously. I bring a calm yet structured approach to pet care, which means your furry family member will feel both relaxed and secure in my care. I believe pets thrive when they have a consistent routine, plenty of affection, and a safe, peaceful environment — and that’s exactly what I strive to provide every single day. Whether your pup needs a leisurely walk, some backyard playtime, or just a cozy cuddle on the couch, I’m here for all of it. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual personality and needs, so you can rest easy knowing your companion is getting personalized, attentive care. I also love to run and would love to take your high energy pups out for a jog if needing this type of service. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet and give you the peace of mind you deserve. Feel free to reach out — I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I own my own business and can adjust my availability and schedule easily. I can often accommodate anytime weekdays to weekends for your pets needed schedules. When I’m in your home, I follow your pet’s routine to the letter — their space, their schedule, their comfort. I treat every home with full respect and keep you updated with regular photos and check-ins. My goal is simple: your pet feels safe, and you feel at ease.
“Taylor went above and beyond to make sure Jax was comfortable and taken care of. We recently moved so he’s been very suspicious of strangers, but he loved her instantly. We will definitely be repeat clients”

“Paige is the bomb.com. The first time we met her we knew exactly how attentive to detail and caring she'd be for our cats. She knew what to ask, and was very careful to meet our cats' special needs. Kept in contact the whole time we were gone and played with our cats more than we could've hoped :)))”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 15 years of dog sitting experience. Whether it’s for friends, family, or Rover clients - I sincerely enjoy providing peace of mind to pet parents and the highest quality care for dogs. It's been a while since I've been active on Rover and I’m not sure how my rating is so low. Perhaps it’s from a boarding booking I completed in San Diego. I naively accepted this booking without a meet & greet. The owner was not forthcoming about her senior dog’s cognitive functioning, and additionally the little dude had diarrhea 30 minutes after drop off, and continued relieving himself anywhere but outside throughout the stay. I was communicative throughout the stay and followed her instructions on how to try and get him to go potty outside (instead of inside every single time, usually after a 10-20 minute walk). Nothing worked and sadly the little guy had to spend a lot of time crated. I had to contact Rover about it because I had no experience at the time with incontinent senior dogs. My rates are currently discounted so that I can build trust and establish a client base, while providing 5-star pet sitting to new clients 😊 I’ve spent the last 5 years working in the corporate world as an Operations Manager. I knew deep down it wasn’t what I wanted to be doing, but I was really good at it and it paid well. After being laid off earlier this year - I took it as a sign that it’s time to pursue my real passion of pet care and animal welfare. Now that I have all this free time, I am filling it with volunteering at shelters, pet sitting for friends & family, and finally utilizing the Karen Pryor dog training course/materials that I started 2 years ago (but gave up on because I was too burnt out from work). TLDR: I can be home all day and am excited to offer my pet care services on Rover again! Spending time with dogs has always come naturally to me. I’m that person at the party who is more interested in hanging out with the host's dog than meeting new people. I have a dog of my own who is very loved and spoiled, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. My goal is always to make dogs feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. I also have hands on dog training experience and am passionate about positive reinforcement training. I plan to complete the Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (CPT) program in the future to continue expanding my skills. Because of this, I pay close attention to dog body language, routines, and behavior so each dog gets care that fits their personality and needs. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, or just having someone nearby for company, I’m happy to keep them on their usual routine. I’m comfortable with different energy levels and personalities, from playful party animals to laid-back couch companions. You can expect dependable care, regular updates, and lots of attention for your dog while you’re away. I treat every dog like they’re my own and aim to make the experience stress free for both you and your furry family member. • I am home all day and rarely leave for longer than a couple of hours. • I try to keep my Rover schedule up to date for when I am unavailable. • Since I require a meet and greet in advance, please contact me at least two weeks prior to your needed booking date. • My sister and I live together in a house with a fenced yard. She is also an experienced Rover sitter, currently inactive while she works and goes to school. She won't be assisting much, but I like to be transparent about the other humans your dog will be interacting with while they're here. I focus on creating a calm, positive environment and always use reward based interactions so dogs feel safe and confident. I also pay close attention to behavior and body language to ensure each dog’s needs are met. Every dog I care for is treated like part of the family. Plenty of attention, patience, and affection are always included. IMPORTANT: • I've spent many hours training my dog to be a well mannered magnificent mutt :) He loves to play. I’ve noticed this bothers some dogs. • I have a fenced backyard but as an extra safety measure I never leave dogs unattended back there. Regardless, if your dog is an escape artist - this will not be the best fit. • Make sure your dog arrives clean and healthy so that they can enjoy all of the same luxuries my dog does - unlimited access to lounging on furniture, snuggles, petting, and scritches! - Please pack any grooming tools that may be needed over the course of their stay (shampoo, paw wipes, brush, etc.) REQUIRED: • I require that all dogs are up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. I will need vaccination proof, sent through Rover or brought in person at the Meet and Greet. My dog is on Simparica trio in addition to always being up to date on vaccines. • Meet & Greets are required, as far in advance as possible. For extended stay boarding, I offer a discounted doggy day-care rate to prospective clients. I highly recommend this as it allows me to observe how your dog's behavior when you aren't present, prior to your extended absence, which provides greater peace of mind for all involved parties :) • Your dog must be 100% house trained, obedient, and properly socialized in order to have the best time possible during their stay.
“First time using Rover! Amy was very trustworthy and made the time to arrange a visit prior to coming! Our puppy is a handful, however, he was very well taken care of! We loved receiving updates of potty breaks & photos of the drop ins! Thank you, Amy!”

“Jenna and Jason did a wonderful job caring for my sweet dog. They were on time, very kind, and asked all the right questions. My dog can be kind of skiddish, but they made her feel very comfortable. I will absolutely be asking them again to watch our sweet pup.”

“Robin continues to impress with her care and patience. She went out of her way to gain trust with my nervous rescue while I was out of town. I was so happy to hear how he began to wag his tail when he saw her and made such progress. I’m incredibly thankful she was willing to take on a challenge and give my dog a chance.”

“Hailey did an excellent job with Frankie and was a tremendous help when we needed a last minute dog sitter. She handled his tummy troubles with grace and was great about checking in regularly. I would highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”

Twin Lakes pet parents share their Rover experiences
Yet again, Alexis delivered amazing cat care! One of our purr-babies was feeling sick and she immediately contacted us and made sure kitty was safe. She left our house looking pristine and our kittens happy. We always worry they'll start liking her more than us. Thanks Alexis!
Amy was great! Out cat is really scared of people and usually bolts when people come over. Amy was gentle and kind with her. She even let her pet her. Amy definitely has a gift with animals. Our cat needed meds every twelve hours. Amy was there and on time. It really eased my mind while being out of town. Thank you, Amy!

Our first time using Sidney to watch our dog and she exceeded our expectations! She was kind, reliable, always on time and my dog seemed to really like her! This was the first time in a while that I didn’t feel any stress leaving home because I knew she had everything handled. Will 100% be booking again!!

Jenny really spent time with my cat! I have had other cat sitters (from Rover) who spent 5 or 10 minutes, but Jenny spent 25-30 minutes to give my cat some play time and lots of love. I have a camera on my front door so I know how long the sitter stays. Jenny sent regular updates and was easy to work with.

Carlie was great with my two cats while I was away! She kept them to their food schedule, made sure they had play and window time, cleaned up any messes, and was able to give my older cat his nightly medicine! My house and my two kitties were in perfect condition when I got home. Would definitely recommend/book again!
