“Great daycare service! This was our first rover service, and I couldn’t be happier... Chris is very helpful, takes great care of the dogs. Outstanding communications, sends pics, answers questions quickly and accommodate requests! We will continue using his services regularly. I’m very grateful!”

About: I'm looking to board fun and energetic dogs. I have a large backyard and a very respectful and energetic spayed female. My ideal situation is to find dogs that are respectful and love to interact with other dogs. Weve had Tina since she was just a puppy. She's able to walk off leash and does very well with dogs around her size. Our home is safe, we have several crates and a gate. Our backyard is large and we just got a new fence to help keep the pups in. Our neighborhood is very quiet and safe as well. You'd feel comfortable arriving and leaving. We monitor play and potty breaks and also have a camera in the backyard. Open, just let me know and I will try to make it happen. Overnight works and just to stop by in the day as well. All care will be done by me. All walks, supervision, feeds, and so on. I will be the only point of contact. My backyard is large and has a newly installed fence. I have several crates in our home to house your pet if requested. Tina enjoys running around and doesn't play with her mouth. She loves to run in circles with other dogs and doesn't not have a history of aggression. She is spayed as well.

About: Dogs have been part of my life since before I was born. I grew up up with a family pet always being part of my life and occasionally being asked to check in on neighbors pets as well while they travel while young. Once out of college with a stable income I adopted my own dog who is still with me today. I am currently at home full time so have ample availability to stop in as many times during the day as needed whether for walks, potty breaks, or some play time indoors. I have a fenced yard and a medium sized dog of my own who is very friendly and can be a comforting companion. There are multiple quiet places around to relax if desired and I can easily crate your pet if needed or desired.
“Sue was great with our dog, Bear! We will be using her services again. We could tell right away that Sue and her family were dog-loving people and asked lots of good questions to understand what makes Bear tick. She was very attentive and communicated well. I also appreciated that Sue was able to be flexible on pick up and drop off times, as I had a very busy week. Thanks again Sue!”

“Martha was awesome watching Theo for the day. She sent us updates throughout the day that gave us piece of mind he was doing great. She was also accommodating to his fear of storms. Will definitely be using Martha for our dog services in the future.”

“Kimber has taken care of our puppy, Lolo, on several occasions (day care and overnight boarding). While away on our family trip, Kimber kept us posted as to how Lolo was doing and sent pictures. We are extremely happy to have found a very caring sitter!!”

“This was my first rover experience and it was great! Ava was so great and super welcoming! My doggies had a great time and I would definitely be contacting Ava anytime I’m in the Denver area 🩷”

“I cannot recommend this family enough! They have a great house setup and truly treated my dog like a member of their own family. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was getting plenty of walks and playtime. Now, whenever we pull up to their house, my dog gets so happy and excited to go inside. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our fur baby!”

About: I have had 2 different breed dogs, a pit bull and a German Shepard. Our family loves dogs and appreciate their needs and care and time they need. My kiddos love all animals and in particular dogs. Let us care for them while you and your family enjoy time away. I work from home early mornings and late evenings. My day is free and open to care for your amazing dog. Since we cannot have a dog of our own for now, my kiddos will love yours like theirs. We live in a friendly and calm neighborhood where I am able to constantly give your outside time and walks. My kiddos love dogs and we get our pup fix when we get to enjoy yours :)
“Charlie, my grumpy and gruff 13 year old dog, has never been watched by anyone but family. He is currently on medication that he needs to take every four hours and due to a family gathering today, I had no family available to medicate him. I am so glad I found Nyssa! She did amazing with my senior dog who has never been watched by strangers, had no problems administering his meds even though he is kind of tricky to medicate, and he actually didn’t want to leave her house, which was not so surprising. Nyssa’s home is very warm and inviting , with an active, joyful family feel. I will definitely be using Nyssa again!”

About: I have cared for pets for friends and family throughout the years, including paid pet sitting arrangements. My experience comes primarily from a lifetime of caring for animals and being a pet owner myself. Throughout my life, I have always had a natural love and connection with animals. In my teenage years, I also volunteered at a local animal shelter. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy and take seriously. I understand that pets are family, and I strive to provide the same patience, attention, and care that I would want for my own pets. Pet sitting fits naturally into my weekday routine. I am available for walks and drop-in visits Monday-Friday from 8:45–10:45 AM and 5:00–7:00 PM. I plan my day around these timeframes so I can provide dependable, consistent care without rushing. I enjoy spending time with animals, so walks, playtime, feeding, and providing companionship are things I genuinely look forward to. I am also happy to work with each pet’s established routine, including their normal feeding schedule, bathroom needs, exercise level, and any other care instructions provided by their owner. For cats, I understand that care often looks a little different. I focus on keeping their environment clean, comfortable, and familiar while making sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and attention based on their individual personality. Some cats want lots of interaction and playtime, while others prefer a little space and quiet companionship. I am happy to follow their lead and their owner's instructions. I understand that every pet is different, and my goal is to make their time without their family as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Treating your fur-baby with the same love as one of my own pets is my priority! When I am at a client's home, my goal is to keep their pet's environment safe and clean. I can allow space to adjust at their own pace and feel secure while their owner is away, or give lots of cuddles and playtime. Totally optional and dependent on the animal! For every visit, I keep each owner's contact information, veterinarian information, emergency instructions, and medication details readily accessible throughout their pet's stay. At my own home, if your dog needs some time alone, becomes overwhelmed, or does not do well around other animals, I can provide a separate space where they can feel safe and comfortable. I can also easily accommodate crate-trained dogs or dogs whose owners specifically request crating.
“We can not be happier with the time our pup spent with Nicole and Billy! He’s absolutely exhausted at the end of each day and cant wait to go back the next morning! We cant wait for our next play date!”

“Amelia took AMAZING care of our fur baby post surgery! We are grateful to have found her! It was nice to know he was in good hands and took that stress away! Definitely will be using again!”

About: I’m a lifelong pet owner with experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I previously worked at a veterinary clinic, where I cared for pets with a wide range of needs, including feeding, walking, medicating, and supporting animals that were injured, anxious, or recovering. I treat every pet like family and aim to keep them happy, comfortable, and well cared for in their own routine. At home I have a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees who is dog reactive, so I’m very familiar with handling animals with behavioral needs and using patience, structure, and awareness to keep everyone safe and comfortable. I also work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I’m available for drop-in visits and walks on most weekends and holidays. I’d love to get to know your pet and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away! I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and allows me to be very flexible and attentive. I’m able to take breaks throughout the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins, and I can adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s specific needs. I’m available for drop-in visits and walks on most weekdays and weekends, as well as most holidays. Because I’m home often, pets in my care get plenty of supervision, attention, and consistency throughout the day. In my home, I provide a calm, structured, and pet safe environment for both dogs and cats, with a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time for dogs. I take introductions between animals slowly and thoughtfully based on each pet’s comfort level and temperament, and I make sure cats have their own safe, quiet spaces to relax. Because I have experience with a reactive dog, I am very mindful of body language, boundaries, and creating a low stress environment for all pets. I can separate animals when needed to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. In clients’ homes, I prioritize maintaining your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, litter box care, and any medications, so they feel secure in their own space. I am attentive to home safety as well, such as locking doors and securing leashes or harnesses, and I always provide updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life. From multiple cats around the house to at least one constant dog running about. When I got older and moved out I had to continue to have four legged fur babies living with me. I currently have an almost 6 year old Australian Shepherd and two adorable fluffy cats. I currently work full time from home. Allowing me to care for any animal as needed. For that reason, I typically take my dog out every 1-2 hours! I like to mix it up with walks and a good ball session! All animals allowed on all furniture :) Fenced off front court yard

Needed a last minute dog sitter to occupy my sweet pup during a birthday party we were throwing and Alejandra helped us out in a pinch. She was able to pick up and drop off so we could focus on the party and our guests has a blast and our doggy didn't have to be stressed out. Thank you Alejandra!

Tyanne was amazing with our Lottie girl! She updated me all day with photos and letting me know how she was doing as she is an anxious girl. This eased my mama heart throughout the work day. Lottie and her pup Cash got along so well and it made my heart so happy. I would definitely trust Tyanne with my fur baby anytime!

Jack is very conscientious, kind, and knowledgeable about dog care, especially senior dogs with special needs. My dog seemed to feel comfortable around him immediately, and had a great time playing with another small dog he was sitting. I trust Jack to take great care of my dog and would very happily book him again.

ANYSSA WAS GREAT! She sent pictures throughout the day which I loved. Aaron had so much fun and exhausted when I got him home. I would use her again in the future if the need arrises. I felt confident that my little boy was in good hands and didn't worry about him at all. Thank you Anyssa!
Sarah L. was great!!! I got plenty of updates on my fur baby. I got cute pictures too. She is great at communicating with fast responses to any questions I had. My fur baby came home with his tail wagging and I know he would be excited to go visit again. I highly trust Sarah with my taking care of my family when I am not able to because of my schedule.

Ava has been taking care of my 8-month-old puppy this past week, and I couldn’t be happier with her care. She is always prompt, responsive, and incredibly flexible. Throughout the day, she provides thoughtful updates and plenty of pictures, which gives me peace of mind and makes it so much easier to leave my puppy in someone else’s care. It’s clear that Ava genuinely cares about the pets she looks after and I can tell my puppy has a lot of fun in her care! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter!

Chris is absolutely outstanding! I feel so safe leaving my pup with him, knowing he is getting so much exercise and attention. I know my pup will be safe and so well taken care of! The plethora of pictures also help to know your pup is doing well throughout the day. My pup struggles to pace himself throughout the day, and Chris does a wonderful job helping to ensure he does not over exhaust himself. Thank you, Chris! Looking forward to sending Goose for years to come!

Allison took great care of our pet Leia. She sent us pictures periodically with them on walks and play time. We will definitely reach out to Allison in the future since I feel she provides the best care for my dog. We appreciate the flexibility with the drop off and pick up times. Thank you Allison and Maeve!

Christine has incredible animal energy! My pup Eloise is usually very anxious and terrified of new people — it normally takes her a full two days before she’ll even consider letting someone pet her. But with Christine? Eloise walked right up to her like they’d known each other forever. She was pawing for pets, climbed right into Christine’s lap, and was giving her kisses on day one! That is absolutely monumental for my shy girl. I got tons of adorable photo updates, and when I picked her up, Eloise was practically showing Christine off to me — doing happy twirls around her and just radiating joy. She clearly felt safe, loved, and understood. We will absolutely be back. Christine is truly something special!

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
