“Hilary and Scott are the absolute best. Our dog Riley has severe separation anxiety but does so well at their house! They are always so kind and send great photos and videos. They are definitely our go-to dog sitters!”

“Carol & Leah are the greatest sitters! They took care of our mini Aussie a few times while moving, and you could tell she was the happiest pup! They share the sweetest updates and are very responsive. Thank you Carol & Leah! We’ll be back!”
About: My husband and I work remotely five days a week, and at least one of us is always around the house in the evenings, outside of regular work hours. We also have a spacious fenced-in backyard that has easy pet door access. Because of our setup, we can always keep an eye on your pet and keep them engaged, safe, and happy (both of our home offices overlook our backyard). Both of us had many pets growing up—from Schautzters to Australian Shepherds to Welsh Corgies—and today we have our goofy, energetic Border Collie (Bennie) and our cat (Sebastian). Because we only take one dog at a time, your furry friend will get plenty of one-on-one attention, walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. We also live very near a great open space for dogs that Bennie loves to walk to. We never leave Bennie alone for more than a few hours at a time and try our best to avoid it altogether. We will absolutely extend the same—if not better—to your pet. We prefer dogs that are cat-friendly and generally well-behaved. The cat has his own fenced-off section of the house, but he roams free. We’re happy to follow your dog’s routine and will be happy to keep you updated with many photos and messages! My husband and I work remotely from home, so we have lots of availability for dog sitting/boarding! We are always around the house and will be available to be contacted throughout the stay. Our home has a big fenced-in backyard with an easy-access pet door. Bennie (our dog) spends most of his day outside but has full access to food and water inside. We can always accommodate if you'd prefer more restricted access for your dog. One of us is always home, so your dog will have plenty of supervision and care. We love dogs and understand how difficult it is to leave them with a stranger, so we will do absolutely everything in our power to make you and your pet feel comfortable and communicate with you as much as you prefer.
“I cannot recommend this family enough! They have a great house setup and truly treated my dog like a member of their own family. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was getting plenty of walks and playtime. Now, whenever we pull up to their house, my dog gets so happy and excited to go inside. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our fur baby!”

“Paris has been amazing with our puppy, Malley. She is attentive, caring, and very knowledgeable when it comes to crate and leash training. She provides daily updates, communicates consistently, and always makes us feel confident that Malley is in great hands. Paris has been incredibly helpful throughout the puppy stage, and it's clear that she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. Malley absolutely loves spending time with her and her wonderful kids. I highly recommend Paris to anyone looking for someone who will do more than just care for their pup—she truly invests in their well-being, training, and happiness.”

I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve, a cozy home with a fenced-in yard, and I enjoy peaceful walks on the beautiful open space trails in Superior’s Rock Creek neighborhood. Your pet will feel safe, loved, and right at home with me. As a young retiree, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care every day Monday to Sunday. My routine is centered around creating a calm, loving environment for the pets I care for—whether it’s feeding, playtime, brushing, or peaceful walks. I enjoy spending time outdoors and often walk along the beautiful trails in Superior’s Rock Creek neighborhood, which dogs love too! Since I’m home most of day and night, your pets will get consistent attention, care, and companionship when they stay with me! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and secure environment with a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time. Pets stay in a peaceful, cozy space where they can relax and feel at home. About: I have over 5 years of experience pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and clients. During that time, I've cared for dogs of all sizes as well as a variety of personalities and energy levels. Whether it's daily walks, overnight stays, feeding schedules, administering basic medications, or providing plenty of playtime and attention, I'm committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. As a student and remote tutor, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care throughout the day. I am often home and can accommodate walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and regular check-ins. Your pet will receive plenty of attention, exercise, and love while you're away. I provide a safe and comfortable environment with a fenced-in balcony, plenty of nearby green space, a fenced dog park, and walking trails. I follow each pet's normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. Pets are always closely supervised, and I provide regular photo updates so owners can have peace of mind while they're away.

About: I offer a calm, uncrowded environment where your dog gets plenty of space to relax and play, thanks to my large fenced yard, pool, and easy dog-door access. As a lifelong dog owner, I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments and needs, from energetic puppies who benefit from consistent routines and basic training reinforcement to senior dogs who need a gentler pace and extra attention. With no other dogs currently in the home, your pet gets personalized care, close supervision, and a low-stress stay that feels like a true home away from home. I have a very flexible work schedule, work from home often. I have two dog-loving kids in this home and have been dog sitting since they were babies. Our family dog now lives at their other parents home (post-divorce) and I am not quite ready for another full time dog. I LOVE dog sitting and having canine energy around here. I have a giant fenced yard, a pool with a locking cover, and the back gate leads to 20 miles of trail. I do daily walks, sometimes 2x a day. I have a dog door that allows the dogs to go in and out freely- and also can lock off the door if there needs to be a restriction for going outside. I offer dogs to get comfy on our couch and our bed, however can also keep pets off furniture if that is what is preferred in your home. I have done kind and fear-free training with my dogs in the past to help with voice recognition and control on the leash.

About: We share our home with a 15 years young, grumpy old-man Chihuahua, a 7-year old Chihuahua mix, and a new Husky-mix puppy. Dogs provide us with so much love and kindness on a daily basis, that's why I believe we should offer that same kindness back to them! Rochelle has been caring for dogs for well over a decade, from totally healthy to those needing special care (medicine, slower walks, special feeding requirements). In general, our pups get along great with low-energy dogs and low-energy dogs are ideal clients! Though, the puppy can also help us with higher energy pups. Rochelle works from home full time. We REQUIRE a meet and greet prior to booking new clients, no exceptions. Due to medical concerns, Rochelle is only able to care for small to medium size dogs for the safety of your dog(s) and my own safety. Willing to consider dogs who are larger in size only if they have completed intensive behavioral training (such as therapy dog training or hunting dog training) in which your dog will respond to commands 100% of the time. Thank you for your understanding. Note: I had a name change in 2024 from Caitlyn to Rochelle. Ben was added to the account in 2026. We’re happy to share our home with pups!
“Amelia took AMAZING care of our fur baby post surgery! We are grateful to have found her! It was nice to know he was in good hands and took that stress away! Definitely will be using again!”

About: Hi! I’m Stacey, I have worked with furry friends for years now. I’ll take your dogs on walks if you’ve had a long day- or welcome them into my home for doggy summer camp while your on vacation! Check out my Instagram to see all the fun we have at rover_stace I currently live in a medium sized home with a sizeable park close by and several traills. I work from home so am always around. I walk dogs on shorter walks twice a day- once early morning and once after dinner. We frequently head to Flatirons trail or Marshall Mesa. On the weekends I like taking adventures and hiking or biking - this is obviously based on ability of the dog and temperature. I have a medical background and feel very comfortable with administering any type of medication. I love dogs and can’t wait to meet more in the area regardless of whether they need a variety of dog beds to snooze on or to run for miles, they are welcome in our home! I feed my dog first thing then take him on a long walk. We usually relax while I work and go on another walk around lunch. My dog eats at 4 PM and then goes for a final walk. I prefer to have dogs in my home and will send lots of pictures. I have a boxer mastiff who is a gentle giant and loves playing with other dogs.

With a reputation for reliability, excellent communication skills, and a deep sense of responsibility, I'm here to ensure that your pets receive the care and attention they deserve. I have always been the one in the family that takes the further step to take our dogs to get groomed, nails clipped, doctor appointments, etc. I make sure they are always doing well. When you entrust your pets to me, you can be rest assured that they'll be treated as if they were my own. They may be small but they are mighty and have personalities of their own. I make sure they are taken care of before anything else, since they (obviously) cannot speak about it. You’re more than welcome to bring their bed, favorite blanket or toy over so they feel more at home :)
“Took absolutely fabulous care of my little peekapoo dog, Fizzgig. I received lots of adorable photos throughout the day and received updates on how she was doing. Most definitely recommend Deborah to all little dog owners! My little dog really seemed like she had a great time and she got better socialized with other little doggies while she was there!”

“Sarah and her family take such good care of our dog. She loves going there. We are grateful for such a welcoming place, a big yard to run and new friends to play with.”

“Shannon is WONDERFUL. Our Frenchie is a firecracker, and our senior lab mix is very mellow. Shannon and her family take extra care to cater to their differing personalities and make both feel equally loved. I would highly recommend her to any pup!!!”

Coleslaw couldn’t have had a better inaugural Rover experience. Two kind and accommodating individuals that braved the cold so Coleslaw could play in the snow, while taking many pictures documenting the wonderful time he had. The bar cannot be set any higher. Thanks Jackie & Eli for a fun afternoon!

Hector and Emily are the absolute BEST! My puppy Rudy lovesssss going to their apartment and spending the day with them. They truly love and care for dogs with their entire heart. This is the best place you could send your dog (I think Rudy likes their place more than his own home now hahaha). Their dog, Lemon, is the kindest and best dog too. If you want someone to treat and love your dog like their own, send your dog to them for the highest quality of care and the best people.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Broomfield commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
