“Jessica and Clayton were great with our dog, Bella! They sent us pictures and messages every day. Bella is also an anxious dog, and Jessica and Clayton made her feel safe—even over the July 4 holiday with all the fireworks!”

“We have used a couple different dog sitters over the years, but Kimberly is far and away the best. Our dog Gypsy can be sensitive to change and easily stressed out, but Kimberly was so good with her and making sure she felt comfortable. Gypsy got a ton of daily exercise and cuddles and came home a very happy pup. Kimberly also knew we were a little nervous about leaving Gypsy and texted twice daily with pictures or videos and updates every day of our trip. It was such a relief knowing that our dog was in great hands and was very well taken care of during our absence. We will absolutely use Kimberly again and can’t recommend her enough.”

“Meghan and Hakon are amazing and loved on our pups so much! It was Kinzie’s first stay away and they made her feel so at ease and comfortable in their home. Lincoln is a pro and had a blast. We got plenty of updates and photos and knew our dogs were in great hands. Lincoln and Kinzie look forward to their next stay!”

“We love Megan and Chris! Our dog Zeus has stayed with them multiple times and always gets so excited every time we take him over to their house. They are very responsive and take great care of Zeus with walks and everything.”
“Kim, Sean and their kids are amazing! We knew right from the meet & greet that our pup would love spending time with their family. Our Quinn was happy, well cared for and very tired when she got home from all the play. Glad we found you guys as our new sitters!”

About: Hi! My husband Clay and I have a dog-loving home built especially for senior dogs and gentle companions. We host only one family of dogs at a time, so your pup(s) will always get calm, focused attention and plenty of affection. We work from home, which means constant companionship, cuddles, and care throughout the day. Our house has a sunny, comfortable backyard and lots of natural light indoors, and we are just steps from a trail system for relaxed strolls or longer walks depending on what your dog enjoys. We understand how important it is to feel completely at ease when you’re away—our family has a 14-year-old Border Collie, and her comfort, safety, and happiness with her own “Rover family” means everything to us. That’s why we created a space where other dogs can feel just as loved, secure, and at home. We intentionally keep dog sitting limited so it fits naturally into our work-from-home schedules. The days in our home already have a steady rhythm, which makes it easy to include regular check-ins, potty breaks, walks, and quiet rest time throughout the day. We keep things simple, calm, and predictable in our loving home so dogs can settle in and feel at ease. Hosting only one family at a time means less noise, less stress, and more focused care. My husband and I stay present throughout the day since we work from home, and we pay close attention to each dog’s comfort and behavior. Our goal is a steady, low-stress environment where dogs feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely at home.
“Ashley and Jeremy took great care of Chilli while we were away. They gave us updates and sent us pictures of her every day. She came back home a tired and happy dog! We’ll happily book with them again when we go out of town next”

“We are grateful for the love and care Alexandra & Jeff plus kids gave to Arley during a long weekend stay. It's always nice to have peace of mind when traveling and we had that with them. Arley was well cared for and happy to see us -- and it was great to see a few pics of Arley doing well in their home. We will book again in the future.”

“Timea was great. Kept us up to date on our dogs and one of our dogs was having a hard time with separation anxiety, this was her first time staying somewhere she didn’t know, Timea hand fed her and made sure she felt safe and loved.”

She took wonderful care of her for 9 days over the Fourth of July, sending thoughtful updates and photos twice a day, taking her on multiple walks, and giving her so much love and attention. We especially appreciated that she stayed home with the dogs during the fireworks so they would feel safe and comfortable. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup. We had an amazing experience Juan and couldn’t be happier with the care he provided during the four nights he watched our dog. He followed every instruction we left in incredible detail, made sure she got plenty of exercise with multiple outings each day, socialized her with other dogs, and even kept up with all of her enrichment activities. He truly went above and beyond to make sure she was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What stood out the most was how much love and attention he gave her, along with the excellent communication throughout our trip. He sent us lots of pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind and made it clear she was having a great time. We would absolutely trust him with our dog again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for exceptional pet care.

Sam and his gf took excellent care of my babies! I received multiple daily updates of their adventures and many pictures and videos showing how much they enjoyed their stay! They set the bar high when it comes to boarding on rover. Will def use them again while I’m here in Denver if I need dog sitting. ☺️

We absolutely love Hannah and feel so lucky to have found such a perfect match for Frankie! 🐾 Her warm and kind personality made it easy for Frankie to feel comfortable right away and we couldn’t be happier with her care. The thoughtful updates and photos gave us so much peace of mind, and it was obvious he was having the best time. Hannah was understanding and accommodating and we trust her completely. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, kind and caring sitter, Hannah is the way to go. It was clear that Frankie really connected with her and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!

Lynn and John are the absolute best!! We have left Chase with them multiple times and he is extremely well-cared for and given lots and lots of love!! It’s easy to see that Chase loves being with Lynn and John and they love him. I wouldn’t trust anyone one else with our furry family member! Thank you so much!!!

Kellan and Yoshi were the best! Laika had a great time and we are thrilled to have someplace she is so comfortable available. We had frequent updates and felt completely confident that Laika was happy and well cared for. She will definitely be going back (we already have two additional stays booked).

We are very grateful for the care that Sylvia provided for Stella. Stella can be anxious in new environments. Despite a difficult situation, Sylvia remained professional, communicative, and compassionate throughout the experience. She kept us updated, handled the situation calmly, and continued to prioritize Stella's well-being. Stella was well cared for, and we appreciate the patience, understanding, and kindness that Sylvia showed. We know that caring for dogs can sometimes come with unexpected challenges, and we are thankful for how she managed a stressful situation. Definitely would recommend her to others looking for a responsible and caring pet sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
