“My Great Pyrenees mix, Jesse, stayed with Todd for eight days. He's only 2, and had never been away from home. I rescued him as a very sick little pup, so you can imagine our bond. I could not take him on my trip to visit family, and feared the impact of leaving him in a traditional kennel situation. He is accustomed to lots of attention - he's a part of our family! I was so grateful when I came upon Dogvacay, and once I read Todd's reviews I felt he would be perfect, and the meet and greet soothed my fears. His home is clean and safe, the yard is ample and partially shaded. He gives every dog personal attention, but you also get the benefit of his knowledge and training as a behaviorist - and it's all positive encouragement. Todd does not walk the dogs, which I was a little worried about because I walk Jesse 3 miles several times a week, but they get tons of exercise running around with each other and playing ball. Jesse was tired when he returned home, but very content. He was bored in the yard and although I threw the ball for him, he really wanted me to chase him (like his buddies)! I actually think he missed Todd and his friends. I love that I now have a place to take Jesse when I am forced to leave him, and he does not have to suffer. I am certain he will even be excited to see Todd next time.”
