About: I have 36 continuous years of personal experience caring for, handling, and living with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. Over nearly four decades, I have successfully managed everything from high-energy puppies to gentle senior dogs requiring special patience and medication schedules. My deep familiarity with canine behavior allows me to read a dog's body language quickly, keep environments calm, and handle unexpected situations with total confidence. I specialize in providing structured, loving care that makes dogs feel safe and relaxed right away. I work from home, which means pet care is seamlessly integrated into my entire day. Because I am always home, guest dogs are never left unattended for long periods. My daily routine is highly flexible, allowing for constant companionship, frequent potty breaks, and immediate attention whenever a dog needs it. I schedule regular play breaks in the yard and structured walks around the lake throughout the day, ensuring that your pet maintains a consistent routine that closely mirrors the comfort and attention they receive at their own home. Safety is my absolute highest priority. My home features a large, fully fenced, and secure backyard equipped with an extra-large doggie door, allowing dogs independent and seamless yard access. I have a very friendly, social 6-year-old Labrador who serves as an excellent playmate and co-host for guest dogs. To ensure a safe environment for everyone, I strictly host dogs that are fully potty-trained, non-destructive, and socialized. I also require a mandatory 15-minute meet-and-greet on neutral ground before booking to guarantee a perfect fit.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with 10 years experience caring for dogs, and few other quirky critters. I love nature as it is, in all shapes and forms. Whatever it’s giving meds, caring for seniors, or keeping high energy pups active, I’ve got this covered. Pet care is a priority in my day. I structure my schedule around each pet’s needs-morning walks, meal times, play sessions and potty breaks are all planned and consistent. I provide a clean, safe, and stress free environment tailored to each pet’s needs. I stick to their regular routine as closely as possible. Pets are never left alone for long and I always monitor for any signs of stress or discomfort.
“I am so impressed with the care that Moriah provided!! We have high standards when it comes to taking care of our fur babies and Moriah exceeded our expectations. We were at ease knowing our baby was safe and loved on, tended to and payed attention.”

“Anthony (Uncle Tony) was fantastic. I’ve never seen my dog so happy and relaxed. He was great at providing updates and ensuring my dog’s wellbeing. I have nothing but praise and appreciation for how he handled her. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Heather and her family are truly wonderful! This was our first time using Rover and Heather went above and beyond to look after our 2 pups. They went on walks, to the dog park, had plenty of play time and snuggles, and came back home looking so happy! We especially loved all the photo updates - amazing communication. Heather truly does look after your pups like they’re family!”

“Heather struck us as being extremely responsible and caring. She took great care of our dogs and treated them like part of her family. Good communication when we had any questions or concerns.”

“Ryan and Lorien were wonderful with our Charlie dog. Their sweet dog even shared their toy with him. Charlie was given lots of love and attention. We felt at ease having him there while on our vacation. Would definitely book with them again. Thanks!”

About: I love taking care of our friends' dogs when they are away on travel! We don't have pets of our own so we can give your pup all the care and attention they crave based on their own needs and personality! I currently have a lot of flexibility to care for your pups! I'm available for walks and boarding most weekends, as well as weekday early mornings and evenings. I have a small, fenced yard and will commit to being at home while watching your pup! They will get as many walks and all the attention they want!
“Maggie was a top 2 or 3 Rover in my history of probably 15-20 Rovers. So sweet and communicative and personable. I knew Sully was in good hands and Sully was so excited to be with her even when she dropped him off.”

“Michelle was wonderful with our dog Roxy. She sent us updates daily on how Roxy was doing and also sent photos and videos too. I highly recommend Michelle and her family. Thanks Michelle for taking such good care of our pup.”

“Sam and his gf took excellent care of my babies! I received multiple daily updates of their adventures and many pictures and videos showing how much they enjoyed their stay! They set the bar high when it comes to boarding on rover. Will def use them again while I’m here in Denver if I need dog sitting. ☺️”

“Kelly is fantastic. She is a true dog lover, and took such great care of Wrigley. I received several messages and pictures of Wrigley throughout the week and he looked so happy. This was the first time we left our dog with a dog sitter and it was so comforting knowing Kelly was giving him lots of love, attention and ear scratches. I would recommend Kelly for any short or long term stays.”

“Gatsby had such a great time at Lynn and John’s! They sent so many photos and videos of him playing and snuggling! We always knew he was having a great time and it was awesome to see him while we were out of town! Would deff recommend and have Gatsby stay again the next time we are gone!”

“Megan was a wonderful sitter for Diesel! I had complete faith in her with her experience and reputation over the years. He had a great time and I could tell he was stress free when he got home. She was flexible and sent photos / videos daily to make sure we were knew how he was doing. Thank you again - Julie”

“Chelsea was amazing! We recently lost our older dog, so my dog has been feeling a bit lonely. Chelsea had an older dog- Fergus who was so sweet and played with Little Bear so well. She sent pictures and checked in consistently and made me feel really good. Anytime I’m in the Boulder area, I will check to see if she is available!”

“Ben and Alesha took great care of Auggie, put up with his puppy energy and antics, and communicated daily with us! We were able to enjoy our trip knowing he was having fun and in great hands.”

“I'm shocked that Leah and Carol aren't booked for weeks at a time with the exceptional care they provide. I'm almost hesitant to not write this review so I can have them all to myself. From the minute I traded messages with Leah to the moment I picked Cooper up from his first stay, I was nothing but at ease and incredibly happy to have found sitters that can care and love Cooper as if he was their own. The house is cozy and warm, Leah is super responsive, and they even provide a little doggy report card which honestly, was the icing on the cake for me. I can go on and on of how incredible Leah and Carol are, and I can't wait for Cooper to continue to be a part of their pack.”
“Melissa was great! After the first day, I felt confident that Ilo will be taken care of. Hence, my anxiety went away that day and that I know Ilo will be just fine :) Would highly recommend Melissa.”

“Cole is amazing!!!!! Our girls felt so welcomed and chill with him letting us they were safe! He definitely has a great vibe! Also maintained open communication about everything, we will definitely be considering Cole for all our future sitting needs 🫶”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Louisville
This was our first time Dottie stayed with Sarah. Sarah took great care of Dottie. We received daily pictures and Dottie was smiling on every one! Sarah also let me know when Dottie’s poops were a little soft and when they were back to normal, indicating to me that she is an attentive caregiver. We will most definitely be reaching out to Sarah again when we need care.

We could not be more happier with Jessica'a service. We left our beloved kittens to her for 2 months and she took really good care of them. She also sent us photos on a regular basis which was great as we missed them. Jessica, Moon and Silver will come again ! Thank you soooooo much :-)
Moriah took very good care of my old man while we were out of town. He takes several medications and doesn’t move around well anymore so I was very nervous leaving him. Moriah always responded timely and provided pictures. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future or to recommend Moriah to friends!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From our first meeting, it was obvious that Scout was in caring, capable hands. Throughout the stay, we received regular updates, photos, and messages that gave us complete peace of mind. When we picked Scout up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly comfortable, which says everything. It’s such a relief to know there’s someone we can trust completely when we’re away. We will absolutely book again and recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for an exceptional Rover sitter. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Scout!

Curtis was amazing with our golden doodle pup! She had a blast going to the dog park, going on walks and snuggling on the couch. We had daily photo updates and notes to keep us updated. Although we missed our pup on our week away, we never doubted that she was having the best time. We would highly recommend Curtis.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
