Fenced Yard + Direct Trail Access

Our family loves dogs! We provide a safe, loving, and active environment where pups can feel right at home. With a spacious fenced yard and direct access to miles of open space trails, your dog will have plenty of room to play, explore, and relax. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a very flexible schedule and can offer attentive, personalized care throughout the day. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, backyard fetch, or cozy naps, I tailor each stay to match their unique energy level and routine. I also provide mental enrichment, structure, and calm companionship to help your dog feel comfortable and secure. Cedar is my playful Aussie co-host — full of fun and loves a good chase. If your dog enjoys a buddy with energy, they’ll be instant friends. If your dog is more mellow, I tailor play and rotate dogs so everyone feels comfortable. I take pride in creating a positive, balanced pack dynamic for visiting pups. Please note: daycare stays of 10 hours or longer are billed at the boarding rate. I look forward to welcoming your pup into our home and treating them like one of our own 🐾

Our 10-year-old English setter stayed with Sarah for two whole weeks, and our boy came home healthy, happy and simply relieved to see us - no extra stress or issues from it at all, which can happen with sensitive dogs. We take this as testament to Sarah's care: he was playfully engaged, respectfully rested, kept on routine - the key things he needs to be comfortable when away from his family. We don't like to spend so much time away from home and our boy but feel much relieved knowing that he can stay under Sarah's excellent care.

Sarah is the best .. she helped out with our 9.5 years old Golden who was very well taken care of . Sarah will keep sending daily pics ( great pics I must say ) . She will respond to your messages quickly and feels very reachable that gives you another peace of mind . It’s a very much a family set up with her own kids and dog in the house that will make it feel another home for your dog. I strongly recommend Sarah for your pet sitting needs.

Our dog loves going to Sarah’s. She gets plenty of play time and rest time, too. Sarah is easy to work with, kind and trustworthy.

Schedule

I’m home throughout the day, so dogs get lots of company, playtime, and fresh-air breaks. Whether it’s morning walks, backyard fetch, or cozy downtime, caring for dogs naturally fits into our family’s routine. Your pup will always have someone nearby for love and attention. To keep a calm and consistent routine for the dogs in my care and for my family, drop-offs and pick-ups are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. I’m typically not available for late evening exchanges, so please plan travel accordingly when booking boarding or daycare. Drop-offs and pick-ups are scheduled within 30-minute windows between 7 AM – 7 PM. I run a structured home-based pet care business and do my best to keep routines smooth and low-stress for both pets and people. Because I coordinate multiple dogs, family responsibilities, and scheduled appointments throughout the day, I ask clients to please arrive within their confirmed drop-off and pick-up windows whenever possible. I understand that delays and schedule changes sometimes happen, and I’ll always do my best to communicate and accommodate within reason, but I may not always be available for last-minute timing changes or on-demand pickups/drop-offs. Clear communication and realistic expectations help create the best experience for everyone — especially the dogs.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide supervision and gradual introductions to ensure all dogs feel secure and relaxed. Our dog is a friendly, well-socialized hostess who helps visiting pups feel right at home. Each dog’s care plan is customized to their unique needs—whether that means structured outdoor play, quiet rest time, or extra snuggles. Our fenced yard provides plenty of safe space to explore, and I have crates available if your pup prefers or requires a private resting area.

A typical day

We love keeping dogs active, happy, and engaged! Between play sessions in our fenced backyard and peaceful walks on open-space trails, your pup will enjoy plenty of fresh air and stimulation. We play fetch, explore new scents on walks, and make time for mental enrichment through games and gentle training reinforcement. And of course, there’s always room for cozy cuddles and quiet companionship when it’s time to relax.

Please plan to bring enough of your dog’s regular food for their stay, along with something familiar from home such as a favorite toy or blanket. This helps your pup feel comfortable and settled. Before your dog’s visit, please share any relevant information about their routine, behavior, or special needs—such as separation anxiety, health concerns, or unique quirks. Because there are children and other dogs in my home, I can only host dogs who are well-socialized, non-aggressive, and comfortable in a family environment. To keep all dogs safe and relaxed, I feed guests separately and supervise all interactions closely. I’m unable to accept dogs who are food- or territory-aggressive, or who require the use of doggy diapers. All dogs staying here should be able to move around the home safely, including climbing stairs, and should not have major ongoing health issues. I’m able to administer most medications, supplements, or vitamins as directed. If your dog takes anti-anxiety or SSRI medication, please discuss this with me ahead of time so I can fully understand their needs and ensure the best care plan for them. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. Thank you for helping me provide a calm and happy environment for all pets in my care. Because I only host a limited number of dogs at a time, bookings reserve that space specifically for your pet. My calendar and cancellation policy help ensure I can provide reliable care for every family I work with. While many dogs adjust well to a new environment, some experience significant anxiety when away from home or separated from their primary people. For the safety and well-being of everyone in the household, it’s important that owners are transparent about any history of separation anxiety, escape behaviors, excessive barking, destructive behavior, or difficulty settling when left alone or behind gates/crates. I’m happy to work with dogs who may need a little extra adjustment time, but severe anxiety behaviors may not be the best fit for my home-based setup, especially during longer stays. Trial daycare visits and honest communication beforehand help ensure the best experience for both your dog and my household.
