“Jessica did an amazing job. Super conscientious and her updates with videos made me so happy and set my mind at ease. We highly recommend her, especially for cat sitting!”

“Otelia was such a great Rover! I had such an easy experience. She is very communicative which helped alleviate any anxiety I felt about leaving my kitty. She even left me a handwritten note at the end!”

“Emma is an absolutely wonderful pet sitter! She was totally reliable, sent me great updates (including about how much my picky eater ate at each meal), sent loads of pictures every day, and most importantly took perfect care of my dogs. I couldn't dream of a better pet sitter! Hire Emma and put your mind at ease!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats ever since I was born, and have continued to surround myself with them into my adult life. I frequently help out at shelters and have recently branched out to start cat and dog-sitting. I also have two feline friends of my own, who I have had for around three years now :) I take care of my cats throughout the day (feeding, cleaning, and playing with them). This is easy to fit into my work schedule as I work remotely. And with this added flexibility, comes the ability to look after other pets as well! I have plenty of of experience dog and cat sitting, and like to spend lots of time with the animals I stop in to look after. I’m responsible when it comes to feeding pets strictly what the owner says and respect any rules they put in place regarding their pets. I’m readily available to chat over the phone and am happy to send update pictures throughout the day.
“Cole helped make our first Rover experience a positive one! While traveling it helps keep us at ease knowing our pets are cared for so well. Thanks for the photos and extra long walk.”

“Anna has consistently looked after my cat Julius whenever I am away and does an amazing job every time! I highly recommend Anna for any of your pet needs, she always provided timely updates with lots of photos from her visits so I can see how Julius is doing while I’m away.”

“Sebastian did a great job taking care of Monty, Minnie, and Artie (dog, dog, cat). Monty had just had a suprise health scare and needed medication and Sebastian took care of him. He was smart and judicious with walk lengths in the extreme heat. We will defiantly call Sebastian again.”

About: We’re a family of four who loves caring for dogs. We have 2.5 acres, a fenced in yard, and give lots of TLC. Walks around the neighborhood and on trails too. My husband and I work from home and love going on walks. When the kids are home from school they dote on the animals a lot too. In the house, your dog is welcome to go where they please & feel most comfortable…which is often right by us. Feel free to bring their own dog bed or any blankets that remind them of home. We board no more than 2 dogs at once, and often it’s just one. The house is still a home. And your best buddy welcome anytime!
“Let Elizabeth put yourind at ease and book her! She was very accommodating and was a tremendous help with all of my pets, including my lizards! This was our first time using to we and hiring a sitter. Elizabeth gave detailed updated every visit and I can tell my dogs and cat made a new friend. It was such a stress free vacation knowing they were in such good hands.”
“I was initially very anxious to spend 2 weeks away from our kitties for the holidays but after meeting Brenda at our meet and greet I knew that they would be well taken care of and I was not wrong! Brenda is the absolute best, she cared for our cats as if they were her own, spent time and played with them, and was super gracious about cleaning up messes outside the litter box from our cat who has a bit of separation anxiety. She gave detailed updates and pictures after every visit and went above and beyond! Thank you Brenda, until next time!”

“Rachael was amazing with our Leo and he was extremely happy when we returned. She was very responsive and sent us the cutest photos. We would absolutely love to book with her again!”

About: 😸 Hi, please call me Ollie! 😸 ❤️🌱 My goal as a pet sitter is to adapt to your needs — communication, pictures, tailored care, the works! The services I provide will give you peace of mind to take that trip, get lots of work done, or just go about your life 🌱❤️ 🐾 My dog, Tyson, has been in my life for over twelve years now. Seeing his health flourish even while entering his senior years has solidified what true care of an animal can accomplish. Equally, my two kitties that have now crossed the rainbow bridge, Chata and Cleo, have provided me with an upbringing of consistent and loving cat care. I will put as much love and effort into your pet as I do into mine! 🐾 📚🎓 As a Psychology student at SNHU who is on track to become a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have studied in a field that values observation, insight, and empathy above all else. While your pet may not be able to have a conversation with me in so many words, I know they will tell me in their own way! By diving into their world (and yours), I feel confident in creating a unique bond and experience for each family! 🎓📚 😸Hi, please call me Ollie!😸 🥳✏️I am currently studying fully online, so my schedule is very flexible. For all-day or overnight stays, I have a 3-hour policy to tend to my personal everyday needs, such as appointments or errands. I can split this time up into smaller increments if your pet needs consistent company. I’m a non-smoker who enjoys creating both a calm and playful environment. As for dog walking, and knowing Colorado weather, I provide about a 30 min walk in the morning and the evening to stay safe from the heat. I’m open to extended stay and constant care. ✏️🥳 🏃♀️➡️My services are best suited for low-to-medium energy pets. I offer unlimited play and two 30-minute walks per day, but I do not offer hikes or runs.🏃♀️➡️ 🫀⛑️ I prioritize safety above all else. I am a nonsmoker, and I generally don’t consume alcohol (never while working). I don’t own any weapons. I feel comfortable acting quickly in an emergency and staying alert to anything that may become dangerous (stove, oven, electrical sockets, locking doors). As a former medical assistant, I am also comfortable with medical needs of pets. 🫀⛑️ 🤞 I’m always conscious of body language, signs of discomfort or pain, and the personal boundaries and comfort of each pet. I’m committed to maintaining the privacy and security of clients — no guests unless specifically allowed, no sharing of personal information. 🤞
“Margie is amazing. She is loving and kind and so caring. Rocky loves when she gets times with her. I do as well. Love her energy so much. Grounding and kind. Highly recommend Margie.”

“Julia is an absolute lifesaver! Not only is she amazing with our two cats, giving them all the affection and attention they desperately demand, she has also been incredibly responsive and available when we've waited until the last minute to book a cat sitter. It's so much easier to travel knowing that our cats are in good hands, and Julia has made several vacations that much more relaxing.”

“We’ve used Lauren’s services several times and she’s always a pleasure to work with and pups seem content upon our return. She’s friendly & great communication & gives good updates while we’re away.”

Charlie helped us out with a last minute booking for our 2 dogs and 2 cats. He was very responsive and great at relaying info to us about what was going on. He was also great with the animals. One of our dogs, who is wary around, even came around somewhat by the end of our trip. We will be booking with Charlie again in the future!

Sebastian did a great job taking care of Monty, Minnie, and Artie (dog, dog, cat). Monty had just had a suprise health scare and needed medication and Sebastian took care of him. He was smart and judicious with walk lengths in the extreme heat. We will defiantly call Sebastian again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Louisville with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
